Yeah, but it will be different compared to Phil Taylors time. There are guys like him, that are up to his standards. He will win a lot, of course, but there will be hard fights, close matches, tournaments and there will be a lot of winners. He’s a one in a lifetime talent for sure, but I even think we’ll see another one or even a few in the future, rivaling him. That won’t be a time like Taylor had. This is very competitive now, away from the pubs, cigarettes and beers. We could even see something like in tennis with the Big3. Maybe there will be even 5 or 6.

Littler,GVV,Neimann could be your big 3.all young hungry and crazy talented. Add in Humphries,Smith and Cross and theres 6 guys on their day can beat the other. In Taylors day no one could touch him. Littler will win lots but not Taylor numbers.

Luke Littler against Anderson is why I love this sports, what a game that was, I kinda wish that was the final with how it all played out, lets be honest this final was abit anti climatic, even Stake had Littler as a 5to1 favorite before any dart was even thrown 😂 But by all means I take my hat off for fantastic Littler, perhaps he will be the GOAT of Darts in the future, im almost sure of it 🔥

Let's be honest. The real final of Grand Slam was the Littler vs Anderson match. If Anderson won the final leg, he would have became the champion. To many the semi final between Littler and Anderson was the REAL final...im sure if Gary would have won that match he would have done similar things to Lukeman as Littler did, maybe not as impressive but impressive enough to win the tournament.
I don't think I've ever seen such a coolheaded display of awesome talent. Against almost anyone else Lukeman would have been in with a chance, he played well, but Littler had an answer to everything. Good to see some of the lower ranked players putting in some great performances during the tournament too.

Everyone's praising Littler(and they're not wrong), but you gotta give credit to Lukeman too. Maybe he wasn't the best, but what an accomplisment for him.
What a shame we couldn't have had more of a contest in the final, but credit to Lukeman for making it to the final. Littler somehow managed to fight back from what looked like certain defeat against de Decker and Anderson, but won in a canter in all his remaining matches with huge averages.
This could be the start of a ruthless Littler just like MVG was for years and he's not even 18 yet, Jesus Christ. I wouldn't want to be a pro dart player right now, the standard is crazy and Littler makes it look easy
There was only one winner this week for me, and that was Littler. Only thing he didn’t do this week was nail the 9 darter which he missed twice in pretty much the same spot! But still, no one was gonna stop him although it has to be said Anderson came awfully close earlier today. Kind of sick I didnt bet on him after Humphries lost his 2nd game...but wouldve been a hard watch v De Decker and Anderson! Both let him off the hook but he is a special player. Seems to have sorted out his darts as well, not getting those bounce outs and not blocking as much as they were before. The overall standard of darts is rising.....Ally Pally should be good!
