If you ever get a chance watch the Amber Heard-Johnny Depp trial. I think the video is towards the end of the trial. A former TMZ worker was on the stand. He basically explained the process. Pretty interesting since it had never been explained in such detail before. Mind you this was a former employee speaking on Johnny's behalf. TMZ was so pissed they sent their own lawyer to the trial to object to this ex-employees testimony. That's how upset they were.

Jlo loves the attention it’s good for her stock to stay in the spotlight and it sells her products. She’s mad because the paparazzi is shouting out things about her and Ben and her kid is there. There was no need for her to go shopping in broad day light with her kid when she has assistants who usually does these things can do that and she knows she’s been followed yet ventured out to be seen with her child because she cancelled her tour to spend time with family. It depends. The higher the A list status of a celebrity or their popularity, the more a paparazzi can command. In Jlo’s case it’s hard to say as she has slowly been losing her A list status. She can no longer sell out arenas or bring in money from movie tickets to big Hollywood studios or to streaming platforms so her bankable status will soon be worthless. A great example of that was that movie Hustlers where she failed to be the top biller or have her name come first on the credits. That’s how it starts and before you know it their careers are over. I’m surprised she actually managed to stay relevant for a long as she did since her “talent” is mediocre at best. She’s better known for her dating life and stealing vocals from real artists than any real memorable films or albums. She’s no Meryl or Beyoncé, although her highly inflated ego though she was on their level when she tried to sell concert tickets for ridiculous prices.
