Living so far from any wife is not right unless she has retired from her rights as a wife and just wishes to live in nikah for social safety.but this is not the case as you have a child from her so now balance is mandatory. Don't think its any "ehsan" on her that you excepted her in nikah and now you are free to enjoy life with the second one. You may confirm this from a scholar so that this injustice if any does not effect your lives.I am writing this in good spirit should be taken accordingly.
