The main thing ive noticed that makes all the OEMs feel worlds better is having the fork offset low like 20, and the fork height around at least 10. That makes them feel a lot better especially at low speeds and flat turns
I do think what the OEM's are doing is cool by making all of the bikes different, but I feel like most of the time it makes one bike a lot better than the rest. That is why I think the factory bikes are better. They also feel better when riding in my opinion. Edit: After running this setup for even just a few laps, it still feels like they just don't want to turn. Other than that part of it, it feels great.
If the bikes are different there will be a meta once people figure out the bikes, like how pc dominated in like 08 and if you weren’t on those bikes you were screwed, just easier to ride the one everyone else is on so you don’t have a chance to be on the bad bike, can you still beat everyone on the non meta bike. Yes. Will it be harder. Yes.
I wish I didn't learn about this medium tire "meta". Gave them a good try with a few bikes 450 and 250. They are faster by about 2 seconds but in such a negative way. The have a lot less top speed but corner insanely fast. Like to the point I needed to up a few clicks in suspension to compensate for compression in ruts. However, every second I spent on these medium tires I felt they promoted pushing to the absolute max at all times and lost a seriously large chunk of fun and realism feeling that I really enjoy from these oems/mid softs. For me, the mediums "arcadified" everything and are not worth the +2 seconds. Appreciate ya lettin the secrets out tho lol
The sound of a bike is a massive thing for me. Really a big audio guy listening to the bike while getting on the throttle. Really havent messed with the new OEMs much but this video makes me have hope in them a little bit! Great video as always
Wanted to let you know that the mediums are actually ALSO much faster on sand than the sand tires.. definitely not intentional by the oem team I’m sure there will be a patch soon but the grip on sand is immense
For the preload setting.. if its the same as gpbikes, lower digit is more preload. So the rear should be jacked up working at the higher end of the travel with that setup
Also pretty sure the fork oil setting actually represents how much air is in the forks. 85mm more oil, 110mm less oil. 110mm air gap from the oil to the top of the tube
You should let Austin Crank at Pro Precision Suspension sponsor you for setups. I’m telling you his setups are far beyond what anyone else has and it will feel like a totally different bike. A ton of people are starting to go crazy for his setups!!
the number is the distance from the top of the shock, so if top of the oil is 110mm from the top of the shock, theres less oil than if its 85mm from the top of the shock.
Does anyone actually like the oems? I’ve never heard a good thing from anyone on the oems. Just keep using them because everyone is brainwashed to think they are the official bikes of the game.
They're good now if set up correctly. I like the factory bikes more, but wish I could have their suspension and physics with the OEM stock power as well. They should just merge together and have stock and factory bikes that have the same physics and geometry
@@Dan_Mintonseriously tho any OEM bikes even if you're comfortable with the setup you have, try it with the fork offset at 20-22 and height at 10-15 and it'll have a lot more of a similar steering feel to the factory bikes. I enjoy them just for the stock power and the fact that each bike is different, with the factory bikes every bike in each class is the same
The setups in this game make me laugh tbh. The moment I had to put my swing arm to 0 , I deleted the game. Games should be about fun and I just can’t seem to enjoy mx bikes anymore unless it’s on anything but oem. Sadly I don’t see anything changing with the whole vote thing and it being mad unfair so it kills all motivation to wanna stick around.
@@NETOTRT I’m quite fine if it’s a skill issue since I run a company so I don’t sit on my ass 12 hours a day like y’all. I think you have an employment issue and I suggest making resumes. @@TheCarelessAquarius I think you better get on them resumes as well. I’ve rode over 20 years. Nobody said I’m tryna do world record times lmao. The game just isn’t enjoyable to somebody who has a life outside the internet as it takes more time to insert values than I have time to even play the game in a week. great ride yesterday

That does not make any sense. Lets play a mx sim but lets do all the bikes the same!?

the oem bikes done use air shocks and forks
they're oil@@bobr6845

Where can I get his setups?
are they all paid setups ?
@@devanlolll he has base setups for free but if you’d like a more custom tuned setup then yes it’s paid. Some people like stiffer some like softer

the setup is great but my front feels like im driving on ice it just keeps tucking. what can i do to prevent that?

Lynds, oil makes it less soft in the last part of the fork travel. Get a better suspension guy..
lower the oil the stiffer the compression is in the later part of the travel of the fork
Complete opposite of what it says when you hover over the setting in game
the number is the distance from the top of the shock, so if top of the oil is 110mm from the top of the shock, theres less oil than if its 85mm from the top of the shock.
@@fudidle Really? Well with me testing it, you can tell it’s softer in replay compared to making the oil higher
