The controversy over the _'haunted p*ssy'_ joke was just as funny. A female BBC presenter was grilling the head of the BBC over the joke and she kept repeating the offending line, making it sound like she was talking about herself.
Considering one of the other jokes was the Queen admitting to having Princess Diana killed, that really says something about priorities: prudery apparently wins out over implied accusation of conspiracy to commit murder.
I believe the controversy was more over the fact the joke was so popular rather than the joke itself - I mean the Christmas roast joke more controversial in my view

I'd say; "The day after the wedding, Miss Middleton asked me: what is the secret to a long marriage? And I said: Wear a seatbelt and don't fuck me around!!!"
Although not born in Wales, Mark Watson used to deliver his act with a common Welsh accent which is not quite his own. He adopted it when he started stand-up comedy saying that it made him "more comfortable to be talking in a voice that I didn't quite recognise as my own". He has since reverted to his own accent.
Dara O'briain is the host, Frankie Boyle is the short haired Scotsman with glasses, Hugh Dennis is the older guy who told the joke about the swan, Russel Howard is the young blond guy, Andy Parsons is the bald gentleman, Mark Watson is the Welshman and David Mitchel is the slightly tubby posh one.
oh gosh....hahahah....lmfao.....can't breathe.....love......frankie.....boyle! that last joke was the funniest joke i have ever heard in my entire life. love frankie to bits.
I don't know why frankie Boyle comes under so much fire for what he says. There is much worse stuff floating around and it's not like people don't know that that's his style. Personally, I found the haunted queen joke very funny.
This is satire. Get over it, you snowflake. And I've got nothing against insulting an outdated institution of a bunch of useless scroungers, the monarchy.

Same old misogynist bullshit.

That "my family and Harry" joke has a whole other meaning now
Yes indeed

Would have been SO Mitchell-like. :)
That's exactly it. Only he didn't have to say it all. We still got it. The Queen obviously realised quickly where she was heading 😊
No, I think he decided to tell a joke instead....
I thought the “oh, fuck it” was him losing his train of thought, not actually part of the joke. Still funny either way.
"What the fuck are you staring at" XD
"Yum Yum. I've just eaten a swan" Hugh Dennis the most underrated MTW panelist
Andrew Furyk he's not underrated, he's nearly everyone's favourite
Andrew Furyk I think he's inconsistent, but that made me laugh a lot.
He’s not underrated, he’s 2nd best after Frankie.
Andrew Furyk he broke me at that 😭😭😭😂😂😂
He’s my second favourite after Frankie.
Milton and Andy tie for 3rd.
Even Hugh was struggling to keep a straight face 😂😂😂
A rare occasion.
"What the fuck are you staring at?"
"Ha! You changed the channel and I'm still here fuckers!!"
-The two best ones in the whole round XD
KT926 and Frankie's last one

ciaranwalsh96 that’s the one i was looking for , thanks
Hugh's royalty impressions crack me up every time.
It's unfair to the others that Frankie and Hugh are on a team together
I love how pleased Frankie looks with himself after he's dropped a killer joke, Frankie is the king of MTW
Like the cat that got the cream.
Frankie and Hugh are tied for my favourite. Frankie's more of a shocker, but Hugh has excellent delivery and those facial expressions.
1:10 that insane laugh.
I love high pitched laughs like that.
It's my fave part of this whole segment. I know that would be me if I was in a live audience
Every show has one or two in the audience 🙌
"Hmmm, hello Common Wealth! You're all Common and I've got all the wealth!"
“It’s been good to spend time with my family, and Harry”, never has that been more apt
"Welcome, welcome. Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor."
Whenever Hugh does something on the Royal family, it's always the best.
But Russell as the Queen is always epic.
nobody does it quite like Frankie...
i don't understand this, could you explain this to me please?
Lap Top He's saying nobody does it (tells jokes) as good as frankie
Isaac Newton Oh so you're a fan as well?

Frankie is possibly the only comedian on the mock the week who can literally make all the other comedians keel over in hysteria!
He must have inspired Andy's "Wrong Sack" joke many years later 🤣
And at the end of that round, Frankie is carted off the Tower Of London
Only decent place for a Glaswegian.
Worth it!
He was rewarded with a day at a major tourist attraction? Awesome!
Frankie Boyle doesn't give two shits what the Royal Family thinks.
No but a couple of million licence payers who paid his towards his appearance fee do
Hugh’s queen impression slays me
Frankie's last two jokes were absolutely hilarious.. I cried! Hahahaha!
Love Dara's reaction to Frankie's last joke
"It's been good to spend time with my family and Harry". Class.
Russell Howard's "what have we done this year, oh yes tea-bagging, tried that for the first time" XD :'D
Hugh's impression of the Queen is so. freakin'. amazing.
''God thank you saving me instead of that other Queen Freddie Mercury''
I watched Frankie's last bit over and over and still just cried so much.
Hugh and frankie are the best
Mrdannyjd YES
And Andy
DOE GANG
They always were
"What the fuck are you staring at?!" Hahaha gets funnier every time 😂😂

Fucking priceless! 😂
oh my god i was in stitches from the last one!
Hughs impression is awesome. Howeber frankie boyle once again makes the best joke.

''I had diahorrea earlier this year. The skid marks in my pants weren't as bad as the ones back in that tunnel in Paris''
Even Frankie Boyle would smile at that

Russell after Frankie's last joke, "Oh dear God!" 😳😂.
this is probably one of my favourite mock the week videos ever.
Hugh was brilliant in this one
The Week after this was film Frankie Boyle was tragically killed. In a car Accident in a road tunnel in Paris
Savage! 😂
Apparently all Paris got was another Road sign..

Hugh came out with the best one.... the Christmas "Roast" 😂
Russell's reaction to Frankie's joke was like: We're so going to get canceled!
Everyone talks about Haunted Pussy, and rightly so, but "Ha! You changed the channel and I'm still here, fuckers!" Really gets me.
It is at times like this the queen of England thinks about the less fortunate. She thinks of every other person in the world.
Hugh made the best impersonation ever !!!

I've loved spending time with my family.

Thanks for the clarity TheronC2. Its much appreciated.

Surprisingly topical stuff from 2011 Frankie Boyle
What was the joke there?
I think this was like 2007 bud
and he would say thank you for the compliment!
Hugh does the best Queen voice, ever. :D
daras reactions makes frankie's last joke so much better
I always love that round, see how creative minded our panellists are...Love the Queen accents as well...Hugh and Russell pulled it off best i think...
He didn't get sacked from the show, he left Mock The Week to concentrate on other TV shows like his own show Tramadol Nights
Legendary.
This one is my favorite Scenes We'd Like to See. Frankie and Hugh were so right on.
i love how all of them put on a highter toned voice
