It pits players against players whereas, grnshin is relaxing and it requires good rpg knowledge which we indians sadly are unaware. We only know battle Royal genre even multiplayer fpp games are not played in India. We are really reluctant to try something new, which is very harmful for our gaming community.

As an Indian I absolutely love this game and I don't think I'll ever quit playing it. Although after seeing it's size which is increasing with every update it seems I'll be forced to quit it in mid journey. My phn has already lost 90GB from 128GB and it's putting burden on my mobile phone 🥹🥹🥹

Deleting past quest resources and language Audio, will reduce the size by 7-8 gb.
Hoyo is also working on cloud version of genshin, so in future there will be no need to install the game.

I'm a genshin content creator and I agree with the points you mentioned. But the gacha point was not right. Genshin gacha is very simple, getting a single copy of the character would cost less than spending money for x-suit in PUBG. Plus the players can get at least 1 rare character every patch (42 days) without spending a single rupee. one of the set backs is Genshin is not much multiplayer focused. people enjoy competitive gameplay or playing with friends like PUBG and that's why they prefer similar games. maybe it will get popular lets see haha great video tho you covered major issues and everything.

I started playing genshin from first day now can't really play it daily but I always comeback for next story quest,area and characters. story is not that long if you enjoy it or else it gonna feel like drag to play tho I personally enjoy game story and characters I don't really play genshin for abyss or maxing everything anymore.

Best free game out there. The lore, graphics, music, tactics, team comps, characters everything is too good. Plus the gacha system has a guranteed reward everytime not like other games like bgmi and others

As a genshin player i think the main reason is the performance issue you see my sd 860 also struggle to keep constant 60 fps in sub medium settings which is the also same case for diablo immortal but these days I've been seeing indian players too.
Second reason might be .... , genshin is not very newbie friendly offcourse its not a hard game just little confusing for new players I also struggle in my initial days then there the storyline. Initial story was kinda boring but as the story progress story start to make more sense to intresting. Fontaine region story is just next level atleast for me. Anyways I'm final fantasy player so maybe anime aesthetic attract me. not the case for everyone.
Note : sd 860 is not strongest but powerful enough to handle most android game so.
My fav story line were when Aether finally met Lumine but she was Abyss Order's queen, Fontaine story, Raiden Shogun Story and GAA Fischl story
Bro , you don't need 60 fps for a small mobile screen. Play in 30 fps or 45 fps , it's enough for mobile . I'm playing in 30 fps on my one plus 7t pro (sd855plus) to save battery , i don't feel any problem in performance.

I am playing genshin Impact with more than 2 years and i never found it boring as it offers various story quest and main archin quest and events which are very good. I know that it requires a good phone for playing which most of people don't own.

First of all the gacha system in Genshin is predictable... U get 5 star in 90 wishes for sure... Featured character can be obtained in 180 wishes for sure... 90 will have 50% chance for featured character ... And you can carry the amount of wishes to next banner aswell... It's ones of the best gacha systems

If They Will Give Hindi Language To Their Story Line It Will Soon Become Popular In India.
People are put off by the gacha system cuz they have the wrong perception about the Genshin gacha system. Everyone thinks we need to buy game currency to get the character but its easier than they think. A 5 star is guaranteed at 90 wishes and the wishes are pretty easily farmable for F2Ps and even you don't pull on banners, the game story is clearable using the free characters which are given at the start. Only if you want to clear Spiral Abyss you need more characters but even than you don't need to be a whale to clear it. Careful planning and following the meta can do it easily for the F2Ps

For me who is playing this for the last two month i absolutely love this game. The main reason for low popularity of genshin is a large chunk of gamers are basically kids which likes games ff,bgmi etc. The most common reason is that it takes like freaking 30 GB to download which is a lot in my opinion for mobile gamers. The only reason i was able to install it because of 5G free data😂. About the wish system you can have a very good account without even spending a single rupee because player only spend money to get primogems which is used to wish and you can obtain them by opening chest , completing mission . For example as an free fire player the game's account pretty much depends on the money you spend on it.

the real reason is , In India there are millions of gamers , but majority of them are on mobile. Since genshin is almost 30gb on mobile, most of the people do not prefer to try it. Also because of pubg and free fire , people only get views on shooting games and streamers also stick to one game that gives them views. plus Other shooting games lets us play with our friends, thats one more reason...

alright so let me tell y'all i have been playing this game for about 3 years or so first of all the game is pretty good but the straight up 3-4 dry patches makes it worse , the game lacks purpose as i have stated before , i have played this game for 3 years with all of my characters maxed out there is nothing else for me to do the only content mihoyoverse is putting out are the new characters [ "And remember charaters are not content, because not everyone has enough pulls to pull every single new character in the respective patch"] , Qol ( quality of life ) given to us by this game is probably the worst not to say recently because of the new game "WUWA" (wuthering waves) forcing them to finally listen to the fan base [fear of losing a majority if the audience) well not to yap a lot ill just sum it up the game didnt do what the players wanted hence at the end did do well here thats it

started playing genshin back in july 2021 !! I had two more friends who played the game (i dont think they're active anymore since they chose science :'P) I was obsessed with the graphics and the characters. I remember in march 2022, my dad stopped the wifi subscription because of my elder sister's board exam, except, he didnt renew it again because after my sister's board exam ended, I started 10th grade (cough cough shittiest grade cough cough)
So i went a whole year, missing all the cool events like lantern rite and irodori festival
I have been playing genshin from the first windbloom festival. And yeah in the beginning months there were not many indian players playing the game but.. later on so many came and started playing after sumeru happened. That It's insane. Although, I don't play genshin as much as i used to before (probably because of star rail) I hope it'll keep growing in India.

Language barrier is a factor. It is not available in any Indian languages. Unlike shooter games like PUBG one need to understand dialogs in the Genshin to enjoy it fully.

I've played bgmi/pubg lot for many seasons then i tried genshin and got rid of the absurdly abusive community in bgmi/pubg and it was the better choice . Weirdos are everywhere and genshin too has it . But literally in my experience of 2 yrs of genshin , it turned out a better community then bgmi/pubg.

This game is interesting because of Level up and character level up, weapons, talent, Artifact is attractive to you his story line and gacha system is amazing i love this game

I am an Indian. And let me be honest, the game is super amazing and it has lot to explore and I like the gatcha system as well. Every new update makes it even more fun with the daily check-in system and daily commissions. If you somehow have every daily commission, world quests complete then you can hangout in your friend's server and help him/her out.
Its a nice game i have been playing it from 1 year and remained f2p and was able to pull my favourite character exploration is very fun also the way they design new characters and thier gameplay is also very fun everyone should give it a try if your device supports it

I think main problem is device i was playing genshin in my classroom and most of my classmate recognised the game when i ask about them many of the people started playing it but as they made progress in game there game became laggy so they quit

Well I am Indian and I love this game and it's Storytelling + Lore depth.
You don't necessarily have to spend money on this game, even I am a F2P(Free to Player) who has never spent a single Rupee in this game.
You can just collect Primos (In game currency) and wait for your fav character banner and pull for it.
This game has far the best system and UI for pulling on a character or Weapon then any other Gacha Game in Market.

Im an Indian and the only Game i play dedicatedly and for longest time is Genshin impact and HSR lol,I didnt try PUBG or Free Fire in my life
I am playing this game like when the global version just lunch in the middle i quit sometime but I came back when the new map and new content came so if you have a good phone you can try this game i definitely recommend it you can give a try

But i won't say that the HOYOVERSE cares about their player's openions anymore...
Exactly, this game has so much potential but ruined because the developer is a complete deaf.
They make main character weak everytime they release new elements for them, this game encouraging you to pull many characters but obtaining ONE piece of suitable artifact for ONE character require around 6 months if you have average luck.
The developer make so many satisfication surveys but none of players's feedback were ever listened, let alone considered.
Those who being white knights of this game and praising this game as being the best game in the whole universe might be a newbie, an ignorant whale, or those who don't want this game to be a better game.
This game need a better developer, not white knights.

I just started genshin impact today. Guys can yall tell me basic stuff
been playing for around 3 years bcz the friends i made and as it is open world theres only me and my frnds no other toxic playrs,hackers etc ...while most of the battle ground games i played has gotten toxic and worse and the one i hate to say is free fire it has become something that u cant no longer have that fun like it was in the old days..
Some of its stories are surely boring at all but there are a lot of stories on the quests that really make you happy and curious about the next story..... especially related to your character's missing sibling ❤ it became my favourite game ever ❤❤

The only games I enjoyed more than Genshin is GTA games. Specially GTA 5. Genshin is on par with GTA 5 if you know how to enjoy a fantasy RPG game. You'll get frustrated in this game as a f2p if you are addicted to getting new 5 star characters frequently.
But if you can enjoy with what you have then it will be the best experience and a you'll have a fantastic world to explore. The world building and soundtrack of this game is top notch. They invest heavily on these aspects so you won't be disappointed.
Just keep in mind that resource management and patience is important in this game.

Never played Genshin Impact because of the storage problem but I do like and play Honkai: Star Rail..I can run it on my laptop smoothly🙌

The Indian playerbase doesn't have access to devices that can run this game....and even if some do...most of the player base is fixated on shooters and brs like bgmi...it is honestly kinda sad that the Indian playerbase fails to acknowledge such amazing games just because they are fixated on one genre and won't give anything else a try....this is killing the gaming base in india and why big developers usually don't take india into consideration when releasing games....same thing is happening with lol:wild rift....and idk how i can say this without sounding rude...but i think these games are to complex for the average indian....all they want is just a guy in front of them they can shoot all day long....its unfortunate people fail to understand these games(not saying the Couldn't if they gave it a shot)and try something new......however no disrespect i am an indian too🇮🇳 but i just find it frustrating that people dont try and play such games hence leading to developers to ignore the country as a whole
I think another problem could be parents n stuff, as an indian child, it's very possible that parents just try to drill into male kids that they must be strong, manly n stuff and female kids that they must be smart, play with dolls or smth and so alot of times males would not play genshin if their from india cause their parents drilled into their mindset that they must be manly and stuff and most likely the only anime they know is dragon ball z, as for some reason alot of the indian population just does not like complicated storyline, and genshin having so many female characters and etc can make them think it's for girls, and of course girls of india wouldn't play cause they find it dirty or something or if there's too many male characters or as you said, the story is just too complicated for them and I don't think hindi is available as a language in the game (correct me if i'm wrong)
