- During my trip to Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh, I had the chance to visit the stunning Sangti Valley, I m calling it the mini Kashmir of Northeast India. We then drove to Mandala Top, a breathtaking pass with 108 Manes and panoramic views at 10,000 feet. Afterward, we explored the lively local market, immersing ourselves in the culture. Finally, we settled into our cozy homestay, which was totally under budget. Dirang is surrounded by beautiful waterfalls and picturesque views. Overall, it was a memorable journey filled with natural wonders and cultural experiences.

Which Month...?
The best time to visit the Tawang Circuit is from March till April, and then during the Autumn season - September till November. It doesn't snow till December, albeit some sporadic cases during that month. Also, there is another place of interest just 2 hrs away - Shergaon, which have been awarded as the Best Tourism Village 2023 in Silver Category. Then again there is Chillipam Gompa (Monastery) 2 hrs away from Dirang. ☺

You should have crossed mandala pass a little bit and visit the nearby grassland in small hill region it’s breath taking. You can scream I love dirang it will echoed back at you. Must visit places in dirang area.
