    you should set your camera to a night mode with slow capture. some cameras have a "fireworks" mode which just works perfectly. you can do it manually too, just don't forget to turn off the flash.

  • @seirdo

    This makes sense! I'm trying to learn the anti-spin flower and it always makes three and i was wondering why -- it's just natural for the relative speed of Poi Spin :: Arm Spin.
    I wonder if this is no coincidence to the relation of circles and pi (~3.14)? Any bored physicists out there?

    *cough* The main reason why the triquetra is powerful (and the 4 pedal flower for that matter) is not because of poi but psychedelic drugs ;-P ... Most people have seen these kind of patterns "behind closed eyelids" when they are tripping ... Whether on a natural drug or a real psychedelic drug on a descent dose ;-P ... Which is why the ancient cultures also loved it ... Anyway ... Awesome guide as always! :-D

    For the triquetra/extension combo (which is proving to be really, Really hard), do you have to start from a split time butterfly?

    I think I'm missing something! I have the flowers and anti spun flowers down or w/e, but I can't get the circle around it to work! Do I have to keep one hand out in front of the other or something? Is there something super basic I'm just missing? I'll keep practicing, but any advice would be super appreciated.

    • @mricie
      @mricie 10 років тому

      Spin a triquetra on one side, and an extension on the other. My apologies if that's not terribly helpful advice. Happy spinning. ^.^

    • @cabooseabs6864
      @cabooseabs6864 7 років тому

      Hallie Winn I'm sure you've figured it out by now but the extension Poi passes in front of and then behind the triquetra. it's almost like a thread the needle motion.
