I would've stayed broken up simply because he took 6 months to explain what could have been explained in 30 seconds. So what if the sick girl felt bad? She already felt bad for throwing up in front of everybody at university and for needing to go to hospital. She probably felt worse for triggering a break up than she would have if he just told his girlfriend that he needed to take the sick girl to the hospital. Focusing on one thing as a character fault is not a good enough excuse. I really hope the real guy learned his lesson and worked on himself to not cause people in his life so much pain over small things.

For some in real life too they have romance like dramas, all sweet and cute but for most it's a lot more simple and laid-back, TBH I think a more simple and laid-back romance is better than a drama romance cuz in the long run it lasts more. But in reality like this episode after breakup meeting ur ex is not soo great, I guess. These episodes are much more exaggerated than a real life story so don't think ur an unlucky one cuz no one is lucky enough to experience these type of romance in real life.
I feel like the real life experience was a very simple event but because of the effects and format, it seems a lot more like a drama.
