M+｜M+ Asks: Artist & Curator - Hong Kong in Venice 2024

Before the opening of the ‘Trevor Yeung: Courtyard of Attachments, Hong Kong in Venice’ exhibition, we spoke to artist Trevor Yeung, Hong Kong’s representative at the Venice Biennale, and curator Olivia Chow about working together. The two good friends have known each other since 2015, but this exhibition is their first professional collaboration. Were they able to understand one another, and was the exhibition-making process more efficient because of their friendship? Here’s what they had to say.
