Hi, Sequel's friends! If you watch my channel you know I love to sell me some scarves. Over the last year many of you have requested a How-to Sell Scarves video and today I am delivering. I hope this helps you feel comfortable venturing into this new category or gives you the motivation to revamp some of your current listings. If I didn't cover a question you may have, feel free to ask it below.
Hi Heather! Awesome scarf folding skills! Thank you for sharing:) I think using the mannequin is key. Really shows off the scarves. My favorite part of this video, though, is your beautiful blouse! Love the light, airy looking fabric:) Great video!
Hi friend! Thank you so much. Yes, having a mannequin is super helpful. I got Miss Manne Quin at Amazon for just $39.99. Oh and she is cheap! She's fallen apart on my three times, but nothing a little spray foam and E6000 can't fix. She's a fighter, for sure, lol. Thank you for the super kind compliment. It's like day pajamas which is my favorite go to in the summer. Wouldn't you know...it's thrifted. ;)
Thank you for your video!! This helped me for sure. I’m kind of hoping to find a video somewhere, also, that talks about the higher end scarves, and how to know what to look for both in pattern and world, edges and silk, and how to discover brand names that are hard to find upon the scarf. Etc. ❤
OMG I have a TU box of scarves I have yet to touch because I wasn't sure how/what to do. This video has given me all the answers!! I have saved it so I can refer back to it. Thank you so much!!
YAY!!! This is my favorite comment and I'm thrilled to hear you now have the confidence to list those scarves. Here's hoping they start bringing in some moola' for you. I'd love to hear how it works out for you and thanks for commenting.
Yay! I'm thrilled to hear you found this video useful. Be sure to subscibe as I took a little hiatus from UA-cam but will be back to posting regular videos in the new year! 🥰
Sure! I'd say natural fibers like linen, cotton and silk are a great summer staple. Breathable fabrics like rayon or synthetic blends with moisture wicking are sure to keep you cool on a hot summer day.
I loved your video! Fabulous ideas on how to photograph scarves. My main question though is when you’re in a thrift store how do you know which scarves sell? I have only sold hi end brands when there’s a tag but if there’s no tag?
Thank you so much for watching! When I thrift scarves I typically look to see if there is a brand on the scarf graphic, as higher end scarves typically have logo or brand name signature. If there is not, then I will pick up scarves base on the fabric. Silk scarves are always sell as well as woven scarves with a more detailed and elaborate pattern.
Great question and thanks for watching. Since I show them as wraps I do typically steam to remove excess wrinkling. Unfortunately, my steamer just broke so they last box I purchased was not steamed. It will be a nice experiment to see if it effects sales.

Scarves also make great belts over a dress or through belt loops!
Thanks for sharing, that is such a great idea! 🥰
If a scarf doesn’t have Gucci or Hermes on it, I don’t know how to sell it. So I subscribed.

Gosh your eyes are beautiful!
That would be fun! I love handmade goodies. Thank you so much for the kind compliment. That is so sweet of you to say! 😊
Do you steam your scarves before photographing to remove wrinkles?

Scarf or Scarve?
Since it is a single item I put "scarf" as scarves is for multiples.
