It is a very distinct feature of a particular car made by Chevrolet that is quite rare. It is sought after by collectors. Does that make that guitar rare? I dunno. I'm a car guy. I fit these Neutrik jacks on most of the guitars I build with a jack in this position. They should be fitted properly, not like this example , drilling an oversize hole , painting the body then throwing it in , it should be let in and bedded in wood filler ( if necessary ) before finishing . They also come in black and the plug can be removed with one hand thumbing the release button .

Nitro finish checks because it's such a hard finish. the expansion and contraction of the guitar causes it. The metal in the metallic finish probably conducts the heat and cold better. The Les Paul GT looks great but the SG GTs look badass. One thing I think would've been cool about the Les Paul is if they couldve done the binding in chrome . Next gibson needs to do GTO models . A split window stingray SG. Damn.
On this ocassion Gibson have copied Dean regarding the flasmes. The Dean Evo Rockabilly has exactly the same style flames on the body. I'd prefer the Gibson though.
If you had the regular style nut on truss rod, the nut would just unscrew instead of pulling in the other direction
You have a great show, Im hooked. Do a show at the hall of fame in Cleveland. At the Les Paul display!! You could go on for hours.....
That thing sounds really good in all three positions when you throw some dirt on it. I watch you daily it's one of the best sounding guitars I have heard in a long time . Sometimes I binge watch old episodes. This guitar just impressed the hell out of me
I always wanted the black version of this guitar
I thought I was watching a Scotty Kilmer video for a second
The Toyota Muphy lab's finish on this example, scotty would be proud.
@@dommadonia9207 hahahaha, the reliable guitar
Trogly please learn some new riffs, things are becoming predictable
dude you're improving your playing nice!
Please stop lifting the guitar with the bridge, it can damage the posts and screws.
God man flames make almost everything look like cheap shit
Doesn't Michael Paulsen of Volbeat play an SG GT?
"Why did they do that?"
Because it's better, that's why.
does anyone know the name of the outro and intro song ?
GT stands for "Got Trogly". There will be a GTA "Got Trogly Again" Model to follow ... .
I wish you would do a review/demo of the PRS Z06 Custom 22.
Those finish checks really make that finish
you have to try the slash les pauls my guy..
This model is what finally got me off the fence and I bought the Orange model! It is a great guitar, it’s my go to for 90% of the songs my band plays!
As a car guy honestly we all don't have to correct trogly lol, He's trying his best here 😂
He knows so much about Gibsons that we should let him slide on the car stuff.
@@mikeellis9720 exactly
Its almost like Gibson and Gretsch had kids. Guitars that emulate cars.
