Hello fellow relaxation sleep enthusiasts! For this week's video I went all out and rented a C7 Corvette Stingray Coupe. I mounted multiple cameras around the car to capture what it felt like to ride in the Vette with the top off.
This relaxing ride starts as dusk, and then we quickly drive in the midnight darkness. I combined the sounds of the deep engine rumble, with the exhaust, and the wind coming into the top. I placed the camera in the center of the Corvette, so it will feel as though you are along for the ride. Once the screen goes dark, I zoom in on the view so you can see the dash gauges and road more clearly. It was a full moon as well, and you can see it out of the top of the car during some of the night driving! I edited out all the unwanted, abrupt sounds, to leave just the continuous deep relaxing sounds of the nighttime drive.
This channel is a community of like minded individuals that enjoy external soundscapes as a background noise for relaxing, working, and most importantly, sleeping. Together we aid in each others well being by contributing to each video through comments that provide feedback to me so I'm able to further tailor each video to suit the communities needs. In this manner the channel has become a living, evolving, project that helps millions of people get a great nights sleep. Good sleep improves ones overall health and well being, which then enable each of us to go out into the world to give our best.

Im glad I found this channel, I have pretty bad tinnitus and white noise is an absolute must. What amazes me is the efforts you put into the pursuit of the perfect white noise, its something unique for sure.

@@RandallsRestRelaxation Do you happen to accept requests? My first car was an '87 Crown Vic. Poor thing looked so beat up, but still ran well. Helped my great-uncle keep it going for about 8 years before my parents finally passed it off to me. She was a pain to anyone who didn't know her quirks and foibles, but if you knew her inside and out, she could beat most muscle cars in a jack-rabbit start. (And the look of shock and annoyance at being beat by a 17 yr old girl in a supposed 'jalopy' was sooo satisfying. 🤣) Unfortunately, there's vids for trucks, there's vids for semis, there's vids for sports cars... but none for a Crown Vic. I miss that car dearly (was stolen by a towing company), and would love to hear it again.

This is my favorite Corvette model. I drove one of these when they were brought to market in 2014. I'll admit that I'm not a skilled enough driver to get the most out of this car. It has a lot of power and light steering compared to the NSX. The passenger seat is super comfortable and supportive too.

I'm pretty sure Chevy and Corvette would not want to be known as the brand that puts you to sleep, but I honestly don't think I could drive a car with such a deep gutteral exhaust and stay awake. Beautiful sounds to sleep by.

Thanks Randall, another awesome video. I have to say, I think engine noise is my favourite white noise, especially when blended together like this, or in an engine room of a ship. There's something about the low, low rumble of an engine that really gets into every cell of the body - in a good way!
