It sucks, but I don´t mind these kind of losses much, because there´s literally nothing you could´ve done different. It´s easy to accept whereas dying to your own mistake sucks 10x more.
Never happend to me until today. I had my build ak another build ak an m4 and an m700 all with acogs in my bag + couple spectre sights... lost it all. But its allright im stacked anyways. But the only real gear fear in games like this that i have is i dont wanna get used to things i cant play all the time like big backpacks i cant buy yet or guns i cant buy yet therefore i dont play them until i can buy that stuff.
Lol. I did 1 mission semi-naked because of the fear of the game crashing. My PC spazzed while making my first incursion and flight in. Surprised it didn't crash. Completed 1 of the Gunny trackers and went back to base to grab ammo, more gear, then complete all the tasks in one shot. Got on the bird with a spanking new M4, Acog, a shit ton of ammo and a few other things I purchased but chose the alternate LZ.... Crashed. Lost ALL of the gear I had just purchased. Lol. Uninstalled. Lmfao. Fired it back up yesterday and haven't had an issue but that 3k loss still hurts. Lol. I didn't even get to shoot anyone using the optic. I'm just gonna do work with gear I pick up from now on.
Not to mention the community we have so far. Especially with the PvE servers. Everyone is very supportive and helpful. Even “opposing” factions. You can have Almost 15 people in one location all trying to help each other out with quests, finding loot, giving loot, and giving tips.
FYI Blue Lagoon also has a couple of side entrances to the left if you're looking at the camp - a hold in the wall and then also a blue gate that will let you into the back section
I like to enter BL from across the road at the main entrance, draws guys to their gate for easy bottleneck kills, just need to be careful for a guy or 2 coming from the east side
Thanks for this, I am a solo player and I am just enjoying pve whilst I get to grips with it. I was getting frustrated as I felt I was moving too slow through the map and being too cautious but the game is tense. Good to know I am approaching it in the right way
Solo tips 1 do not lurk in the bushes if it is an option, move from building to building the AI will annihilate you and you won’t be able to see them. Try not to take engagements at extreme ranges the AI will have better aim than you at longer ranges, pick enemy’s off with one taps and then try to engage at a range where you can use full auto it’s far easier to mag dump an enemy in the head than wasting a mag trying to one tap him only to be shot three times Highly contested areas where you have a task are best done in pve If you are struggling with a quest hop servers till there are multiple members of your faction in that area, then go tag along you may not even have to shoot anyone.
Agree. I have a gear fear at first but after taking better gun (scope + slicencer) and always keep in mind to play very carefully because the cost is high
2:04 I had only heard AI respawn in 15 minutes. Didn't realize that didn't start until you leave. I've rushed a few times thinking that I've been there for too long and they were going to start spawning on top of me.
You know what. The advie u gave about gear fear helps. I didn't wanna use my MK18 cuz i was thinking i might just die n lose it. So I just like f it ima bring it. I played a lot better n was actually able to clear Sapphire w my MK18. Thanks.
I’m a solo player and it took me a solid 40 hours to learn how slow I needed to really play. Now that I understand how to play slow and smart it’s so much fun. I just run a suppressed Mosin and a handgun for everything now. I’ve always loved sniping so for me, sneaking around shooting people in the head is the most fun I’ve had in a shooter in years
Only valuable gear in this game right now are keys and optics. Other stuff you can easily get from bots. I died 4 time in a row and spent for full gear ~17k bucks . You received enough money for quest to recover your losses
I don't think I would ever play PVP solo, that is just asking for death. If I solo I usually just run Joint Ops. Think it's a great tool for solo players just wanting to task. It also gives you a more relaxed experience to meet new players over VOIP that you can befriend and then go into PVP lobbies together. If not you can always keep grinding on Joint Ops.
My first hour was on pvp server doing tasks the next 5 hours were pvp with a guy i met we had alot of fun but since then i focused on questing solo and thats just a no brainer to go on pve servers. But i def go back to solo pvp to have alot of fun
I just got traumatized from Ai 1 tap me to game crash occasionally. The worse one, which i took 10min to spam a heli and another 5min to travel all the way back my last dead spot and slowly crawl thru enemy territory to get my body end up I found out I can't loot my own body, for some reason... it happened twice on me, it sucks
A very easy way to deal with gear fear. Know your skill level. Sell anything beyond that. In tarkov when I start out. I know I can’t win medium to long distance gun fights. I suck sniping. I also know I don’t have good 556 ammo. So I always sell anything sniper related. Bolt actions. Scopes. Zoomed optics. M4s. Etc. at least in beginning. Doesn’t matter their tier. Same for armor. A level 4 armor when everyone beginner. Won’t do squat for me. But it’ll help me have 4 raids with level 3 armor
Another thing I found good is instead of going and landing at a contested zone (like Ban Pa), Land at a different LZ in the area and then sneak in. Players won’t be waiting for you to get out of your helicopter and ambush you. Also, don’t keep going back to try and kill a camper. If a guy is camping, chances are you will just die over and over again. Plus, he’ll get bored after a while and leave if you or your team decide not to feed the troll
Yeah needs confirming on the spawning and how it works?.. Maybe spawns 15mins once u move out of each sector as u stated? But i hear people get re-spawns behind them, so i'm thinking its sector spawns, as u cross into the next sector, timers starts in last sector u cleared. Some say its 200m for the zone area. Others have had spawns on them, ie on the market place in the starter zones. I'm sure in time this will be confirmed how it works with more testing ^^
I doubt this would work outside of the PvE only mode But My comfy strategy is picking a sniper (maybe with a Glock cause you never know), sit decently far from the Poe and start picking heads
@@OneShotRich yeah i ain't getting in that Rat's nest to do the "kill 20 bots" kind of quests when I'm playing solo With a friend or 2 is a different story
@@bxqpxdYeah, I tried that out as well, but I was having some major issues with seeing when near or in shade. Buildings as well. I had to fiddle with the brightness, saturation, gamma, and I think a couple other things. Ended up making everything more vibrant. It’s not like I can see in the dark, but I’m not blind when I decide to step under the shade of the only tree in a wide open field.
Thank you for this video, I am a solo player, it is difficult for me to find teammates, especially because English is difficult for me and the majority in US East server, are English speaking, I will follow your tips
The only gear fear I have is that the game will crash and vanish any gear I have with me!
It sucks, but I don´t mind these kind of losses much, because there´s literally nothing you could´ve done different. It´s easy to accept whereas dying to your own mistake sucks 10x more.
Had a couple of crashes and when relogged i spawned with loot and gear in safe zone.

that kind of gear wiping crash rarely happens now after the hotfixes

The pace of this game, especially solo, is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
Glad you’re enjoying it as well!

We have been running a 3-man team of all OIF/OEF veterans and it has been fun. Funny how our training kicks in like second nature.
Nice bet that was cool

Some really useful info in here thank you!
And most importantly more likely to have someone open the door for you if you lack the key

True
Hm maybe in higher level? If you die in starting area you get 4.500$ for a mission but spent uch more for full stuff.
Gear is MADE to be lost as much as it's meant to be found
Seems easy for me to make friend especially if we doing the same missions. But I like sneaking around solo sometimes too
Lucky you! I think I’m too far ahead ahaha

I actually had this happen to me tonight for the first time..
Wonder if it’s a bug with the new hot fix
It might be. My body got glitched into the floor so I could only see my feet sticking out. Couldn’t loot my body. Made me so sad.

what have you done with color aesthetics of the game 😯
He has a video from about 6 days ago on that. I did on my own, and it’s quite easy. You definitely want to fix the lighting inside the shadows.

Yes, everyone can enjoy however they prefer!
I just felt it would be a nice viewer experience!
Is there a offline mode
There is a PVE only mode that restricts any PVP.
I apologize in advance. What is VOIP when gaming?
Z!
Perfecto ^^
Step 1: Have no friends
Step 2: Don't get friends ever
Step 3: Fail trying to enjoy the game
How do you enter single player in the menu?
Theres no single player. But u can choose joint ops thats the pve server its above the server region selection in the main menue
Correct, joint ops is PVE only no PVP at all.
Can anyone tell me when this is coming to PlayStation five
it might never tbh
I highly doubt a ps5 could run this game
If they ever go to console, it’s going to take a long road of optimization.
Right now devs focused on getting it to run consistently on PCs
Can i know your color set up
I bet he is using colorblind settings as it looks over saturated.
I have two settings videos out, I have OBS filters because I’ve been told by viewers it looks much more poppy!
@@OneShotRich I'm not knocking it just speculating on what was used. Great videos very informative. Thanks.
i really hate this filter / color tweek.

It can be very rough but at the same very rewarding to get it done
it fucking sucks solo. Period This game was designed for 2+ players in a team
