This was a decent movie. Did anyone else notice they took scenes from the movie Iron Eagle, mainly during the scenes where they were bombing the enemy air base? There were several scenes actually.

The test pilot played by American Ninja actor Michael Dudikoff. This movie also used several clips from the Black Thunder like the F-16 has two 20 mm guns fired from both sides of the plane at the same time, the explosion of a delta wing jet fighter on the ground, the SR-71 shuts off its AB, etc.,

Glad you pointed it out. I had a good laugh when I saw the "transition" from the F-18 to the F16. I also enjoyed Mr. Seagal's turning on the infrared cameras and so evading an air-to-air missile. Cameras aren't what they used to be!
Since when the Afghans are so adopted high skilled air force, they were trained once by Russian Military Forces and next American Military forces and now they are actively involved in their own inside Wars named by Taliban Militants and Taliban Government.

Movie made in 2007 seems a little futuristic with the fighter jets, although today 9/2024 it's commonplace aircraft.
All the acft depicted in movie were in widespread use in 2007. Some even borderline obsolete. Multiple errors in equipment usage.
