Of all the interviews I’ve listened to I realized that Glen Ricks is the biggest of them all….rubbing shoulders with Janet Jackson, Donny Hathaway, Stevie wonder , the spinners, main ingredients, rod temperton(who wrote thriller for Michael Jackson). He also appears on Dick Clarke talk show. First to sign with CBS , Columbia records.. he also signed with filthy rich and sang with Heat wave and was friends with the owners of TD bank of Canada. What a journey and he’s so humble!!!

It was somewhere between 1980 and 1981 when I was a young keyboard player at then Seawind Beach Resorts where I met Glen briefly. He was hanging out with the steel pan player by the name of Cabot Paul. Had a beautiful acoustic guitar in his hand. I didn't really speak to him but Mr. Paul said to me "Don't you know the great Glen Ricks?" Never heard of him before but I always wondered what became of him. Never met his wife but when he spoke about the Lewis sisters my memory took me back to playing for Cindy Lewis doing her cabaret shows at Seawind. Keep up the good work my brother. I have played for many and have toured many countries but now a minister, music tutor and plays in the church.
