After months and months of production, the trailer is finally here!
Now you all know why this trailer took so long to make 😅 Preproducing it took a few months and actually producing it took almost 2, not to mention IRL stuff going on while making this!
I know I've been quiet on Life Mission stuff recently but I have very good reason to! I'm getting married this year and have been travelling a lot to get my VISA sorted out. I will be moving by next month so please do support me on Ko-Fi to help with the move! ko-fi.com/daedelweiss

But seriously, this was so epic! The bursts of color along with the music! I love Donnie’s part on the Battle Nexus Hotel, it is so epic! Then Leo standing at the portal, like, hello? Why are they wearing clothes don’t make the turtles suits? Excuse?

This trailer is beyond incredible. There are so many moments here that had me close to tears, especially the ending and the special thanks section. I've been reading Life Mission since it first began, around the time the second batch of pages came around, and I've been a huge fan since. The concept is so raw and fresh in the fandom, the emotions all feel real and palpable, the stories Splinter told baby Leo in the comic... Everything about this story makes me feel for these characters, but it mostly makes me feel for you, as a creator.
I haven't dived into the ins and outs of fully committing myself to a project because I just. Can't. I've tried to before in the past with previous stories, but they ended up going on for too long and after a while it faded into obscurity. (I hate remembering what my writing was like back then lol) But I do understand the struggle of wanting to commit to something like this, especially when you plan on having it go on for years! Creation is a process, a very long one at that, and it takes a lot to fully commit to a creative project that you know will take a while because you know how long it will take. Thus, I have a huge appreciation and adoration to you, Daedelwiss, and everyone who's been working hard on Life Mission to make it a reality! Because like I said, creation is a process, and it's very hard work. So just...

It's a heart breaking and well written story where they grew up separated from each other, isn't it? Yeah, I'm staying with the canon, I don't need more unnecessary heartbreak in my life. A happy and wholesome family is what I need from these guys.

I waited until the trailer was out to watch it and give my thoughts and HOT DAMN DAE. This is INCREDIBLE. I can really feel all the love and hardwork you put into this, and it's incredible !!! I don't know how you did the colored parts without dying, that's SO much work. But it looks so sick and all the symbolism work so well, and I love love love the composition of every shot it's amazing.

I feel like I went through the emotional rollercoaster of an entire movie with just this trailer holy guacamole. Wow. This is amazing.
I can tell this is some sort of separated AU and Leo manages to reunite his brothers one by one. However the ending makes me question things. Is the Leo in the prison dimension canon Leo seeing that scene from an alternate reality? Is it that AU Leo that is from the future after that final hug since it seems the Kraang invasion hasn't ocurred yet, but they survived the Shredder? Is he looking into the past stuck in the prison dimension? Perhaps all his brothers died and he's stuck in the prison dimension for some reason so he plans on going back to save his brothers? Maybe this is just his imagination and he did save his brothers from the Kraang and he is imagining that memory in circular portal format while floating in deep space? So many possibilities since there isn't the full context yet.

this brought tears to my eyes, it’s so emotional in such a positive way. It reminded me a lot of kagerou project, where everyone feels lost but one person helps them and tells them that they belong.
