Red Eye is absolutely inevitable. They tried blocking him, bumping him, still he finds a way. I shouldn’t love a marble this much
He's the Patrick Mahomes of marble racing: He usually finds a way to win in the end, and even when he doesn't, he's somehow still the most impressive one out there.

And a nice effort by Yellow Eye to insure team victory for CCE. I went marble-racing-less for the last several weeks, finding the "100" interminably boring (particularly when CCE got knocking out early!). It's good to see the lads engaged in long form racing, where strategies are developed and executed, unlike the randomness of those short circuit elimination races.
Even though i didn't care for the 100, hats off and a big round of applause to Jelle for always thinking and trying to keep the various marble races and competitions exciting, fresh, and entertaining. Thank you so very much!

For at least a minute of the race I was wondering about what seemed like a shadow from a drone. It was really faint and I could barely see it but it was keeping pace with the marbles at the front of the course. Then I realized it was none other than Redeye! He really blends in with the course.
Razzy had me on the edge of my seat going back and forth, but I'm still happy with that finish.
Makes me so happy to see our boys on the podium
Either Razzy had been to the beach or that isn't the marble I love. Much darker than usual🤷♂️

Sweet to see Crazy Cat's Eyes race well today. But dog gone the Oceanics are riding high after that survival victory. This race was very good
I've been watching for a while now and just came to a realization - I never thought I'd get so wrapped up in a bunch of glass marbles rolling down a track!

The survival 100 was a bad discipline for them. Their crazy strategies are not suited for a chaotic obstacle course. More methodical teams are more suited for that.
This here though is where CCE are at home
I keep thinking back to last Marble League's first discipline, where they went so fast they flew off track sometimes. And their response? Go even faster to make up for the penalty second, which would have been brutal for any other team because the times were so narrow.

@@stechuskaktus8318 Speaking of last Marble League, can we acknowledge that INSANE last-minute comeback by my 🤪🐱👁️? 65 points in the last 3 EVENTS is insane. Two of them were golds by none other than Red Eye. Truly an amazing captain.
@@WillMellquist Yeah absolutely. CCE are such a fun team to root for, because most of the time they don't do okay. They do amazingly or they lose. Won the whole thing with like what, three goose-eggs and a 1 point finish? No other top team came close to that.
@@stechuskaktus8318 The number of points they got in each of the events, in order from event 1 to 16:
25, 15, 12, 0, 11, 15, 0, 10, 12, 3, 1, 0, 3, 15, 25, and 25.
The team did get only 7 points between events 10 and 13 including a goose egg in the Wave. However, excluding all these events, in addition to Block Pushing and the Funnels, every other result was a double-digit finish.
Between the first three and last three events, they medaled in all but one of them.
Also, between the first and last two events, not only did they medal in all of them but they also won all but one of them.
I believe, but I am not sure, that in ML23 CCE became the first team to:
1) Win both the first and last event of a Marble League
2) Win back-to-back medals in individual events with the same racer (Red Eye, in events 15 and 16)
3) Be in 1st in the overall standings in both the first and last events
4) Win a Marble League after previously hosting (in 2021)
They are also the only other team, besides the Speeders and O'rangers, to have both a M1 (S2) and ML (2023) championship.
Speaking of the championship in ML23, after Red Eye won the GP I had to go back to race 11 of M1S2, where he achieved a perfect weekend at Savage Speedway (this is the only time a perfect weekend has ever been achieved in the entire history of the series).
M1S2 in particular made me really develop a fondness for them. Seeing them excel to such a great degree was simply amazing. Sheer domination in that season.
No doubt, they really deserve a lot of recognition.
Spolier Barrier
The debris was killer on the map for all the teams. Very cool to see Nereid and Siren for the first time, they did great! Are Aqua and Bay stepping into more of a coaching and administrative role, or are they simply retiring? Also great to see Razzy up there!

It's about time the Oceanics made some changes. After years of being the NOceanics, they needed to make some changes because what they were doing was not working. Now, it looks like Sea won't have to carry this team on his shoulders.

Razzy was looking super fast in that race, just getting caught out and blocked on all sorts of passing attempts. Still a very good finish for them.

Originally started rooting for the O’rangers because they’re so easy to see. Not so in this race. Had to keep track by watching the real time list (Thanks for that, JMR!). But it’s way more fun to watch the actual marbles race!
dang! siren and nereid really made an impression here. both newcomers placing in the top 5 is crazy. if this luck continues combined with sea’s win in ms100, then this is shaping up to be a new era for the oceanics
Oceanics just drafted 2 new members and they almost dominated the Race, but then Red Eye remembered why he's the strongest on Sand Marble Rally

Highly underrated race from this year's Marble Rally programming. Really great teamwork from the two Oceanics rookies here- Nereid and Siren were effortlessly blocking for one another and trading places selflessly to try and hold on to those top two spots, putting their team first before individual glory. Finishing second and fifth wasn't a bad first showing by any means. Even after the Rally, these two have a bright future together as a unit. The roster development of the Oceanics looks sensational so far, if these young talents are any indication.
Anybody who followed their junior careers isn't going to be surprised that Siren and Nereid got off to a hot start. This day has been a long time coming and boy did they deliver on the hype

The Savage Speeders need to really reconsider Speedy's position as Captain considering his performance as of late. Is he too old? Is he resting on his laurels of past success? Is he just skipping training?
I thing the age has catching up to him, probably just reconsidering motivation and spending more time with the family. But I still think he's not done with his career yet!
Speedy has been doing this longer than anyone else on that track. It's no surprise that he's getting old.

Dang, the Oceanics have been on fire lately! This is just making it all the more upsetting that they won’t be able to qualify for the ML this year (especially with it being a winter one, which they’ve always been best at)! If it’s any consolation, though, they shouldn’t have any trouble making it out of the showdown this year.

I was so confused for the longest time until i just figured out that shadow moving down the track was Red Eye!
You can really tell Red Eye's experience with courses like this. Lets the newcomers test out the course, get a false sense of security, and then overtake at the end. You can really tell the strategy that went into that run.
Wasn't aware there's a video game version of the marble races on Steam. Glad I was able to grab it before it got removed. (The team behind the game has posted an announcement that it will be removed from steam soon)

I feel like we're seeing a full on Brawn GP moment with the Oceanics...
Team appears to have come under new management (probably for a criminally low cost), brought in some fresh competition within the team, and suddenly we see a near 1-2 finish if not for some solid racing from Red Eye and others. This could be a monumental year for the Oceanics and their fans (like me!!!!efsmvksmv)
You.can tell that red eye is becoming the absolute GOAT he is now insanely good at marble league, sand marble rally and marbula one!

Nice to see a return to the sand course.
The white balance was definitely off on the camera. If you compare the fixed one at the start, you can see each color clearly. The other camera even made Red Eye almost disappear at times.
