There are even more connections between To The Rats And Wolves and EC:
They emerged from the deathcore band Beast War Returns, disbanded in 2012. The members at that time were:
Dixi Wu - vocals
Danny Güldener - guitar
Marc Dobruk - guitar
Stanislaw Czywill - bass
David Friedrich - drums
David then joined Electric Callboy (still under their original name at that time) as their drummer Michael 'Micha' Malitzki had left out of private reasons.
The others founded TTRAW with additional vocalist Nico Sallach and drummer Simon Yildirim (former drummer of the metalcore group We Set The Sun).
They released an EP in 2013, the first album in 2015, the second in 2016 and the third in 2019. The EP and the first two albums were produced by EC's guitarist Daniel Haniß (who was involved as songwriter in all three of them) the third by Simon Yildirim.
In 2015 Dixi Wu appeared in the music video for Crystals (*highly recommended*) by EC in an acting part, not contributing to the song itself.
They annouced they would disband the group by the end of 2019 and a did a farewell tour.
Nico joined EC as Sushi had left to found Ghostkid.
Danny and Stanislaw joined Ghostkid (Danny left by the end of 2020).

He dropped a new track called fsu, and a music video is coming soon. The song is fire!
The best thing about EC rabbit hole is that it's actually a whole damn tunnel system lol.
You could either check out Ghostkid's Supernova next or Sushi era EC's Crystals, that has to be the most aggresive song they've ever done.

I know of is Supernova
and I think a lot of folks have already mentioned that.
I listen to GHØSTKID's album but definitely less often
than the other bands out of this tangled web
