ehh there is nothing to be done, your episodes are better than a movie or a TV series, they are addictive and inspire me to travel. A painstaking job of framing, sequencing, and certainly lots and lots of rehearsing filming rehearsing and adapting. You make the job of documenting your trip look easy. Thank you for your work and for showing magnificent landscapes and great motorcycle travel!
I take that as a huge compliment mate. And really nice to hear they are inspiring you. That is what motivates me, to inspire others. Well, if I make it look easy I'm doing something right 😆 Thank you for the nice comment and support. Appreciate it 🙌🏻
Hey Thomas, a superbly shot video. All the Scandinavian ADV bikers I follow make great films of their adventures. I wish you calm, peace of mind and scenic rides 👍☀️
Thomas, each episode is a work of art, you have the best filming shots on all of UA-cam. I enjoy every shot and I can't even imagine all the work it requires. Thank you very much for these minutes, greetings from Spain.
Wow, I'm not sure how to respond to such a great comment. Thank you!! Truly appreciated 👏🏻 I truly enjoy creating a feel as the viewer was there with me on the trip. And that is my motivation for most of this. Create valuable videos people will remember or get inspired by. Thank you 🔥
Well what can I say that I haven’t already said a million times before……EXCELLENT FILM Thomas! I definitely approve of the music 👍🏻 I used a lot of the same in my 21 Days film. Hope you are successful chasing those nightmares away with some great wind therapy and motocamping relaxation. Cheers! Bring on Part 2!
Thank you so much mate. Really appreciate your support. So there is where I have heard it before? Haha, crazy. Yeah, it has been a long fight, but I'm finally on top of it now. Will touch more on it in part two 🙏🏻 Love to see you are growing and doing great things over there. Hope you doing good. Cheers bud. Talk soon.
AS others have said, AWESOME production!! I think you are the KING of filming yourself/pre setting your camera! Thank you again, all the best from CANADA!
Another great compliment I'm not quite sure how to react to, but thank you so much. Truly appreciate it. I'm not sure if I'm a king in this craft, but I will make sure to continue to evolve and fine polish my video skills 🙏🏻
@@tshansen You are a KING in this craft!! From the heart, I'm not so sure more polishing needs to be done and many would agree.....Thank you again. Take care...
Thank you for this. I love your cabin videos but it's great to see the motorbike on the road again. 😉 You are really a good storyteller😃👍 When was that? There are no leaves on the trees yet! I realise that I don't know anything about the rhythm of nature in Norway.🤔
Thank you Stefan. Really glad to hear this. It will be more of both on this channel going forward, so I hope that people will enjoy it. No, this trip was early may, so normally we just see spring at this time of year. It is old footage I have not yet managed to edit. Cheers
Wow, feels like I just left the Cinema 🎦 Thomas , you are the king of editing 👌🏼 The Drone shots & intro are just another level, wishing you well with nights, riding is therapy 🙏🏼👍🏼
Hi Thomas, great to see you out and about on your bike 🤛🏻😎🤜🏻. Sorry to hear about your nightmares, being away from everything is a great plan and I would conform with your friend, better to sleep cold than too hot (anxiety and depression so staying cooler helps). A nice kaffe and kake after a great day in the mountains helps too 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Aaaahh, the one of the two favorite brothers 👏🏻 Thank you so much for the support. I can't begin to describe how much it means to me. Yeah, I'm touching onto that in part two. It did not solve it, stille comes every now and then, but became much better after this trip. (litte cliffhanger) Yeah, I have read up on that myself, after I got the tip from Panzer. Would never know that and since I hate being cold, it is really hard to stay tempered correctly sometimes. Coffee and Cake from the best ☕️ Cheers
@@windinthewillows6248 And there they are both of my favorite brothers 👏🏻 Thank you both so much for the incredible support. I'm bound to make a special appearance for an upcoming project 🤣 Much appreciated you two. Stay safe and have a great weekend. ☕ Cheers
Hi Thomas… thank you for another great video of a trip. I’m going through a challenging patch at the moment with work and life being more than I would like (and maybe can) handle. I’m finding I desperately need a break, but I also don’t have time for one unfortunately. My one reprieve is my morning workout on my indoor cycling trainer and a chance to “escape” through UA-cam videos of motorcycling and cycling trips. Yours are probably my favourite… peaceful and beautiful scenery and style of video without a bunch overhyped drama. So… thank you!! 😊
Well, you need to find time for a break, or it will probably break you mate. Listen to your body. Thank you so much, appreciate the honest comment and why you enjoy my content. Cheers
@@tshansen, I know you’re right. Hard to do. Hopefully soon. If I had a magic wand, I’d transport me and my bike over the pond (from Canada) and ride some of your recommended routes! Although the Rocky Mountains here are pretty epic also and hoping to do a bike trip yet this summer/fall if I can get away. Thanks for the prod…
Norway is a very beautiful country, I have been there several times with my family for skiing holidays. Unfortunately, never on a motorbike! I should plan to come back to Norway next season! Kind regards, Michael😊
Thank you so much mate. Really glad you enjoyed this. Biggest compliments I get is that people feel like they are there with me. Then I have achieved what I like most with motorcycle videos. 🙌🏻
I had to pause your video so many times to take in the views. Wow… Incredible! I’m sure the videography doesn’t do the scenery justice. I’m thankful you shared the experience with us.
Thank you sir. Well, trust me when I say that I really don't do this scenes justice with my camera. It is so much more than my video could ever show. Glad you enjoyed it.
Yet another stunning installment! Such honesty in narration and all the attention to details in the visuals makes your videos one of my favorites. I don't know why, but the obsession with coffee makes me smile. Probably just because you seem to get so much enjoyment from it. Funny thing, I used to spend several summers in Selje as a kid but forgot about the place. Now I want to go back and explore the area after seein all it has to offer - Thanks :)
It always make me smile when I read that people enjoy my way of telling my stories. It really inspire and motivate me to do more and continue to evolve my video and story work. Hahaha, yeah... coffee in the morning is my "morning glory" on trips, without a doubt. It is just something about the moment, the time spent on it and the taste that just takes me back to all those moments of adventure. I recommend everyone to find that thing that give them the same feeling. Selje is a really nice place as well. Did you ever go out to the Kloster on the island? Cheers ☕️
@@tshansen I think it's important to find and cherish those small things, like your coffee. I might have to try it the proper way sometime, with the grinding of the beans and all that. I had to ask my mother about the Kloster on the island, as more than 35 years has passed since we were in Selje. Turns out we were there but I have no memory of it. I only remember the beach, and the damn cold water 😅
Thanks for the trip, Thomas! As usual, the result of your videographing and editing is superb! Impressive quality from a single operator and amateur. I was out to Vestkapp and Hoddevika by car a few years ago and had the same luck with the weather as you had in the video here. I had a tremendous sighting of several golden eagle (no.: "Kongeørn") at the Vestkapp lookout plateau. That was a really majestic sighting at a spectacular place. Unfortunately, I didn't bring any cameras that day to record the sighting. I didn't go to Refviksanden though, but was quite mesmerized by Hoddevika. Stayed in Hoddevikbuda at Stad Hotel, which is a great hotel. Had tremendous halibut for dinner at Stad Hotel which almost was a sacred experience. Good times! 🙂
You are welcome, and thank you joining me on this ride. Really glad to hear people enjoy my style of video work. It motivates like crazy. Yeah, I did not get them on film this time, but they was there and close by. There must be a huge population of them in the area (kongeørn) Hoddevika and Erviksanden is insane. But often filled up with surfer campers, so I normally find better spots (tent) at Refviksanden. Cheers Bjørn ☕️
Hi Thomas, great to see you back on the bike! Hope, your adventure can free your mind. Be in Norway in June, really enjoy the beautiful landscapes❤️❤️. Spending 30 days for my first northern adventure. I also spent two (rainy) days in Bergen. Hope, it will be not the last. Your vids are giving me the inspiration. Cheers Jörg
Hello Jörg ☺️ Great to be back on the bike also, I kinda like most adventures and telling storys about them. You was here for 30 days? in Norway? that sounds like quite an adventure. Did you go all the way up north? I see that have had really good weather up north this year. Really appreciate the nice feedback. Stay safe, and keep on adventuring
@@tshansen yes, I made it up to the north cape. Only spend three days in FIN/SWE to go south and reach Norway again in Rorøs. Weather was mostly sunny, when I arrived in Trondheim and go up FV17 to Bodø, Lofoten, Senja, Tromsø… Before I had 2 degrees and snowflakes on Lysevegen/zero degrees and snowfall at Dalsnibba. My tripcounter told me about 9910km ride, when I be back at home.
Great journey. Thx for again sharing all the insights. Enjoyed the virtual ride. Plan is having no plan, I love this style from time to time as well. Looking forward the part in Sweden.
I agree. I like to set up a base camp and just come and go from it. One thing about our BMWMOA National Rally, much the same deal. Set in a beautiful place with great riding around a central location for several days. Many new friends. Nightmares, sometimes diet and eating schedule plays a part. I used to have them as well. The hind of work I done doing accident investigations and things I have seen really affected me for years. At times they still do but not as bad. Life and death everyday under the mountain will bear on you. You may have some of that anxiety coming with your line of work or some conditions you are under. Lack of rest is extremely detrimental to one's state of mind. You never see a motorcycle parked in front of a therapist's office. Psyhcle therapy. The place is co beautiful, a surf shop. The Mosko Moto gear is looking really good. I will try some trousers this year and a jack afterward. I just bought a Klim several months back like new. Good quality presentation. You have upped your game considerable. Film sequence, on bike from your perspective and coordinated drone footage work in harmony. Time of cuts. Good editing. A chore. Good music choices as well. Always good to just let the place/vistas speak for them selves with some narrative as where they are and where one is going by sign or verbally. The places you see, you like, take them in. You never know when or if you will come back. I know. Stop and take them in. There are places I've ridden by I hope I can see just one more time. Great vid, await the next. Robert and Mattias, ought to be fun. Next time my Nordic ADV friend
Every time I see a comment from you I'm always surprised of what I end up reading and how it affect me. Thank you sir. It makes so much sense and I have shared some of your thoughts about the topic. Never tried to sleep on an empty stomach, I will try this. And yes, there is no doubt that the stress and continued sights at work affect me. I have found ways to deal with it, but maybe not process it all like I should. Maybe that is coming back to remind me to stop running, handle it before you move on. Again, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, experience and visdom... it is truly appreciated. And thank you so much for the compliments on the video. Really glad you enjoyed it. We talk again soon my friend. 👏🏻
Thomas, great video again. I went south this year, France, Italy and the Balkans. Nice on its own but next year definitly Norway again. Nothing better to clear your mind than driving your motorbike thru beautifull landscapes. Looking forward to the next video's.
My plan was to go south as well, I June... but some of the alpine passes in Italy was closed still, and there was so much rain coming down I went up north instead. Hope to get back down there later this year. Cheers mate.
@@tshansen yes, indeed, did it in june. Some passes closed, but could ride some off the offroad area's in the French/Italian Alps such as Assieta and Jafferau
Very well done this video! Sometimes i'll be amazed how pro a singel person can film, find details, edit, add music etc and accomplish something like this, i love it! Great work!
Thank you so much mate. Appreciate the nice comment. Yeah, as long as you put in the extra effort it always surprise me as well. It is incredible what you can do as a solo filmmaker. Cheers
Great work, Thomas 🤩 This was a pleasure to watch. Love the active use of drone shots, and especially how frequently you take the time to put up the drone. Looking forward to the next episode 🙌
Thank you Mads 👏🏻 I always try to live by the rule of showing, not telling. And if I tell, make sure to include footage that shows what you are talking about. No matter how much I talk about the landscapes here, it will never do it justice. A drone on the other hand. Ooohh yes. And it makes me experience the places in another way as well. More to come really soon ☺️🎥
What a fantastic storytelling. I really look forward to the rest of the season. I can hear the nice sound of a coffee hand grinder at 2:30. I also like a really good cup of coffee in the morning. I think more people will find Hoddevik, it was featured in an article in today's The Guardian. /Morgan from Sunne in Värmland.
Haha, yeah I actually got a lot of feedback from my last videos that there was to much focus on coffee, so I tried to tie it in without showing it too much 😂 A good cup of coffee is just the way I start my days and I never gonna quit that (I think) Hoddavika is really popular and maybe a little bit too crowded sometimes. Cheers
There can't be too much coffee 😅. I'm, of course, following Kenneth, RB also, and buying his coffee. I actually met him a month ago in Mangskog for a morning coffee, and we rode together south a couple of hours. /Morgan
Thank you so much sir. Really appreciate the nice comment. Well, NZ is high on my list. I hope one day I can get down there, borrow a bike from Yamaha or some local mc shop and explore the insane beauty down there.
Thank you very much for the once again very good film, Thomas. 😊 I just got back from my tour of Norway and have now got wanderlust again. 😃 Best regards Claudius
Great to hear you had a wonderful trip Claudius. From what I have seen the weather has been quite good up north. Did you have great weather? Glad you enjoyed this. Cheers ☕️
@@tshansen I had 17 rain-free days out of a total of 30 days. I am very satisfied with the quota. 👍🏻Norway was fantastic again. 😊 This time the "Old Postroad" with the many water passages was a special highlight and challenging for me.
@@claudiusklaiber That is a good number in this time of year mate. Impressed that you did the water crossings alone. I have heard they can be quite challenging up there.
@@tshansen Oh yes, it was really a very big challenge for me, since I have never done anything so extreme before. Fortunately, I met a Finnish motorcyclist right at the beginning, so we drove the Old Postroad together. I was really happy about that.
Hi Thomas, I have to say thank you. You inspired me to visit Norway and see the beautiful landscape. Right now I’m travelling trough Norway on a 2 Month camping trip with my motorbike. Now I’m watching your story with another perspective and I’m falling in love with Norway. Thank you for all your amazing Videos.
Well, thank you Simon. Thank you for telling me that I helped motivating you to travel here. 2 months is really nice and should give you time to se most of what Norway has to offer 👏🏻 Safe journey and enjoy your trip mate. Cheers ☕️
Great start of the season! Another great video, and thank you for showing Stadt-landet. Visited it just weeks ago for the first time. Having ancestry at Honningsvåg it gave me the same thought as you mentioned in the video. There's something special about the area. Don't know what, but it's just great.
Thank you Rune. Really glad you enjoyed it. Honningsvåg (in the south) is an incredible beautiful place. Easy to miss. There is without a doubt something really special with this area. And you can truly feel it when you are there. Cheers
A great Call beutyfull intro for this video , for sure you are back to basic in this video , one of the reason’s i startet to follow you , while I was dreaming of motorcycle trips in Scandinavia . A great video again Thomas and what ever problem you are Solvang with in your mind , this is for sure a right cure , solo on a motorcycle where turns are enjoyed and the landscape glides by while you can feel it on your body, there is hardly a better cure, bad thoughts are not possible and with the background scenario you have wow😮 Enjoy Norway and Sweden on the bike , i will visit Sweden soon on my Goat
So glad to hear this Kim... was trying to make a different take on this whole intro thing. Seams like everyone else is following the same pattern, and I wanted to try a little bit different approach. Building up tension or something. Yeah, it is easy to get lost and want to do everything at once, but I have learned this year what I truly enjoy most, and that is what I will continue to do forward. Yeah I have used some weeks, even months to figure this out. What is bugging me and why now? I think I have found some cure for it, but more on that in part two. God Speed to you mate, hope you have a great adventure. Cheers
@@tshansen glad that you find the tools for the mind , it is important to listen to the body's signals, it can quickly go on for a long time with ‘’ i am fine “ nothing “ etc Will gladly see the next video and hope for some good weather for motorcycle ride

Thank you Brett 👏🏻 I'm doing great except for my back, but that has been troubling me for quite some time now. Just doing what I love most. Creating stories and capture footage. Cheers

@@ADVBrett Ooohh... damn, that is a hard one. One thing is always nice with those things. You learn to appreciate the good days and having your health.
Outstanding video. Thomas the Norwegian tourist board should be paying you to make videos as beautiful as this. I like tours when you move camp every day but also when I put my tent in one place and explore. I recently did just that in North Wales (UK) and discovered some absolutely amazing rides and places... and as a bonus, it's only a few hours from my home.
Well, thank you Neil! That is a huge compliment, but I'm not sure if the tourist board would have me onboard 🤣 Always nice to explore and find new roads or areas to explore. Feels so much more adventurous
So that's what West Cape looks like. I went there many years ago now in a car, the weather was horrendous, and i couldn't see a bloody thing.😭. Ive got to say that your videos have to be some of the best out there in UA-cam land. Its always a pleasure to watch them. The work that goes into making them, must take you hours, but the end results are there for all to see. You don't get many great days in Norway, like you had, but boy oh boy, when the weather is that good, can Norway be beaten. Thanks for another fantastic video. Really, vey much appreciated. 👍👍🏍️🏍️🇬🇧
Hahaha, I have been past here a couple of times to with same weather. No point going out, you can't see shit 🤣 Well, thank you so much sir, can't tell you how much it means to me that people truly appreciate my videos. It motivates me more than anything. Thank you for that. Well, Norwegian weather is crazy sometimes, and you never know what you get. But damn it is nice when the sun shines. Cheers sir. Talk soon ☕️
Really enjoyed this viewing man, and stunning shots! Finding I'm learning many of these lessons in real time at the moment. Currently waiting out tunderstorms midway through Switzerland
Thank you sir, glad you liked it. Life can be hard like that sometimes. But it gives you a good learning and thankfully you come out better at the other end. It looks like we are waiting for some of that weather to hit Norway soon. It gonna rain like crazy the next days. Stay safe and enjoy your days. Cheers ☕️

Riding TET is one story, but when I have similar enjoyment trip - I always take travel spinning and minimal lures set for fishing. So its not just riding from one point to another. Its really traveling for pleasure 😃
I actually did look at a telescope fishing rod the other day. Maybe some fishing on some trips would be a great way to just get out there and camp more. Cheers
Yeah, I will try a more "American" tent for next year season with outer tent not going all the way to the ground and gives more room for ventilation. This is a great tent for what it is, but for motorcycle camping it is just a little to big and struggles with condensation
@@tshansen as a Canadian I’ve had pretty good success in the fall where it drops in the negatives at night. For the winter I’ve only tried different systems.
@@MamacrackerJ Yeah, I would keep my old tent for winter camping, but for 3 season, I think the American style tents looks better. But I have not tried it yet. But I hope I have one later this season to try
Could not agree more. Incredible how small encounters like this can alter your perspective on things. Get out there and get to know new people. You never know where you end up.
Riding your beautifull country at the moment. Krakenes was there yesterday….Enjoying the fresh grinded koffee 😅. Weather could be better but its all in the game. The amasing views and surroundings make ik for the better. Be Well be safe.
Herlig...... I immediately saw that it was Refviksanden at the beginning of the video. Was there last year with my motorbike. A lovely and beautiful place. Enjoy your holiday Thomas. In about 1 1/2 week I`m on 2 wheels on my bike aswell. Same starting point as you to start from Western Norway. My plan is no plan and its a good plan I think. RIDE SAFE Thomas and drive carefully. And as always, love your videos.
Thank you Kenneth 🤩 Refviksanden is just such a magical place for me. And in late may/beginning of June you can se the sunset go down in the middle of the ocean. Absolutely stunning. Hi Thomas 👊🏻 Great to see your out and about again and enjoying yourself, there are not much better things in life to clear your head than taking off on the bike for a few days, waking up in the mornings in your little home from home, enjoying the morning air and a warm cup of coffee 🫶🏼 Take care buddy, we’ll definitely drink that single malt together next time we meet 😉 Mike & Erica 👊🏻
Hello Mike & Erica 🤩 Really enjoy getting back to the simple life to clear out all the clutter and focus on the most important things in life. Was a really important trip for me this, and made me much more convinced of what I'm gonna do in the upcoming years ☺️ Ooooh you bet we will, and the drink is on me mate. Cheers
I was missing THIS ❤ man. I must admit, the rest of the content is really good, but because of THIS type of videos I subscribed to your channel. This is Breathtaking 🙌
Appreciate you being honest about it mate! My main focus is and will be Motorcycle travels, but my passion is much more in the video world, so i find great joy in showing my other aspect of life as well 👏🏻🎥 hope that is ok. More of this coming soon 🤩🎥
Thank you mate. I do think we all need this from time to time, just turn off the world around us and be present in the moment surrounded with what is most important. Nature.
Thank you Mark. For me, camping is half the experience. And opens up for meeting more people than you would in a hotel. But I have no problem booking a hotel if the weather is piss pour and I just want a comfortable bed or hot shower sometimes. But it takes away from what I love most with adventure riding.
Haha, thank you Hestad. Looking forward to our camping together. So longs since we seen each other now. How come your front wheel is off? Did you not just change it?
Hi, my first time seeing your channel, very entertaining viewing and I will tune in again. [try sleeping with a empty stomach, for the nightmares] best wishes from Ireland.

Hey Thomas, nice Views from Norway...this is real live with time to look around in beautiful Places....good Time to you...thanks for Good Videos....best regards André
Great. At the end of june I cycled around Runde fyr, Vestkapp and Krakenes fyr. So, lots of the roads and places I recognized. And your pictures are much nicer than mine.
I really want to take my e-mtb out to Runde Fyr myself. was it a great trip? Bet it was a struggle to bicycle all these small hills and fjords. Holy moly! 🙈
Hi Thomas, good to see you are getting back at it! Sorry to hear about your uneasy nights. Keep in mind that the things that torment us, usually make us a stronger and better person. In your case.... so far so good! Great video, looking forward to the next one. Sleep well my friend, safe travel and I hope to see more of a well rested Thomas Hansen soon!
Thank you sir, that was some good reading. Needed that. I do belive the same, it happens for a reason and we always get out on the other end more wise, better and stronger. It is just a pain in the ass when we are knee deep in it. It is safe to say I'm much more well rested now, and there might be a little bit of a story about that in part 2
Thank you sir. Well, making great content is what I find most rewarding, and nothing gives me more motivation than when people enjoy watching it. Cheers
Awesome video! I really enjoyed that. Very well done. The scenery was stunning. As for the nightmares , I suffer from them too. Not sure what to say. Just don't feel like the Lone Ranger. I have gotten the ability to wake from them. Which is good. You are doing a very good job. I look forward to the next one. Best!
Thank you mate. Well, it is a pain in the ass and scary as f@ck sometimes, but I'm a rational man, but still it feels so damn real some nights. It is much better now, but there was some months I was starting to question my sanity. Cheers
Yeah, I both like that fact that it's not allowed, so we have so much nice nature to look at, but the child in me also just want to rip it in some of the areas 🙈
Awesome Thomas🤩 I am impressed by the improvements in this vid. Better audio/music and even better drone shots. All edited very very nicely into a masterpiece. Weather helped a lot to👌I thought it couldn’t get any better, but you managed to step up the game again… be proud!
Well thank you so much for the kind words Ricard 👏🏻🥹 It truly means a lot. And I really enjoy all those minor details to kinda rise the bar just a little bit for each video. It becomes much harder for every video, but I have focus on it. Yeah, but rest asure, the weahter changed some times during this trip 🙈 Cheers
Såå fint att se denna film. Du är så bra! Blir så sugen på att köra till vestkapp. Planerar 4dagars tripp runt Jotunheimen nu men oj vad sugen jag blev på att komma längre ut i fjordarna. 👍👏😊

Thank you Shawn. You should put Norway on the bucket list. Know it is far away, but always keep dreaming and it will be true one day. I really want to see more of Canada as well. You as well mate, stay safe 👏🏻
Simply wow Thomas. A********. You are the best motorcycle vlogger on YT. There are other very good people, but yours are now way out in front. However it does help that you have such a beautiful country to film. You must wake up most mornings and pinch yourself and think to yourself "do I really live here?!!" You are so lucky to be Norwegian. One of, if not the most scenic country, on our planet. I like you prefer to ride to an area spend a few days there maybe doing shorter day rides or even doing something different like hiking a good trail. I cannot ride hour after hour after hour, everyday from morning until dusk. As much as I love motorcycling this is not my idea of fun. There are guys who do it, many, but I can't. Condensation in my tent is my bug bear when camping as well. I am immensely relieved if the inside of the tent is dry when I wake up. You are looking very trim these days. What ever you are doing it is giving big benefits. Hope you manage to find respite from the demons that visit you at night. ATB.
Thank you so much Alex, truly appreciate the heart felt message. Inspire me to get better and yes I do find myself pinching my arm all the time. Reminding myself all the time how lucky I am to live in such a great and beautiful country 🤩 I could not agree more... I have no problem riding on longer trips, but I need to stop and enjoy the places I visit, take rest days and just explore areas. I'm making sure to cut down on processed foods, quit sugar, beer and food that is not healthy for me. And try to eat less, not more. And that has trimmed off 15 -20 kilos. Yeah, slowly getting there mate. Cheers ☕️
@@tshansen I went Keto about 4 years ago with intermittent fasting eating one meal a day. I lost about 10kg down to 65kg from about 75kg. I am shorter than you at only 5'7". Now thinking of going full carnivore. The health benefits seem simply amazing. Definitely cut all the UPF, starch and sugary foods out. Resistance training and some weights to maintain muscle mass is so important as we age and keep good posture. Yoga is good too. What great surroundings to do Yoga. All you need is a mat. Beautiful scenery all around you. Just watched your video whittling a spoon. Very therapeutic. You are a talented guy. ATB.
@@alexmorgan3435 I could not agree more. I don't do any extreme diets (in some people eyes) I just try to eat simple, fresh and stop when the hunger feel stops, not when I'm full. It is so crazy to see how well it works and how much better everything taste and feel. I still eat some suger, enjoy alcohol etc, but I try to avoid as much as I can. With age it is much better to be smarter than work harder. I need to find more pleasure in weight lifting also. I did that for so many years growing up, I just can't stand the sight of a gym 🤣 ooooh.. thank you. That is a talent I found In my older years. Guess it runs in the family, old grandfather was a woodcarver. Take care mate. Cheers ☕
Hello, I've been following you for a while and your videos are really good, they inspire me to go out riding, I'm waiting for my new Voge 650 to get lost out there. Sorry for my bad English, greetings from Argentina
Hello Alejandro 👏🏻 Glad you for your support and great to hear you enjoy my videos. Even more that they inspire you to go out riding. Congrats on the new bike. No need to be sorry, your English is more than good enough. Cheers ☕️
I love this; it's inspiring. I don't know if I've watched this before, but it was good. Your videos are pushing me closer to retirement. I've been trapped in that North American brainwashing that enough money is never enough money. We all need to take stock of what matters: time, among other essential elements. I think I'm going to go out to my garage now and tinker with my bike and gear amid our "atmospheric river"...
Thank you mate, and it does the same for me. Every time I make a video I'm one step closer to retire. Not that I can live out of video work yet, but I find less and less enjoyment in the salary slavery, and look for options to earn enough to go by in every corner I can. We have, like you say! Been brainwashed for so many years on how to live and what to desire. But the fact is, it only makes us sick and grinding a never ending game. I will not have that anymore. Time to take control over your own life again. Cheers ☕️
Second part of this series is now live ➡ ua-cam.com/video/TL8spnia0JM/v-deo.html
ehh there is nothing to be done, your episodes are better than a movie or a TV series, they are addictive and inspire me to travel.
Well, if I make it look easy I'm doing something right 😆

Hey Thomas, a superbly shot video. All the Scandinavian ADV bikers I follow make great films of their adventures. I wish you calm, peace of mind and scenic rides 👍☀️
Thank you Dave. Really glad you enjoyed it 👏🏻
Thomas, each episode is a work of art, you have the best filming shots on all of UA-cam.
Thank you 🔥

Whao whao whao .yet another gem of a camping and road triping ..in NORWAY

Norway is a very beautiful country, I have been there several times with my family for skiing holidays. Unfortunately, never on a motorbike! I should plan to come back to Norway next season! Kind regards, Michael😊
Norway is indeed beautiful in many ways. You really need to try it on motorcycle as well, but you will love it. Cheers 🙌🏻
Another great video Thomas, you make it feel like I was there. Always shot well and areas explained well.
Fantastic footage in stunning nature. Thanks for taking me along😊
Thank you Kim 👏🏻 Really glad you liked it. 🤩

Thank you Mads 👏🏻 I always try to live by the rule of showing, not telling. And if I tell, make sure to include footage that shows what you are talking about. What a fantastic storytelling. I really look forward to the rest of the season. I can hear the nice sound of a coffee hand grinder at 2:30. I also like a really good cup of coffee in the morning. Try a tent with more mesh and leave the vestibule doors open to create more air flow in order to avoid condensation.
Yeah, I will try a more "American" tent for next year season with outer tent not going all the way to the ground and gives more room for ventilation. This is a great tent for what it is, but for motorcycle camping it is just a little to big and struggles with condensation

Have a really nice summer holiday. Hope some day I meet you for a cup of coffee or even a glass of Pepsi LEMON 🙂 I hope you overcome your nightmares and only find joy and good times. And as always, love your videos.
Thank you Kenneth 🤩 Refviksanden is just such a magical place for me. And in late may/beginning of June you can se the sunset go down in the middle of the ocean. Absolutely stunning. No plan is a good plan sometimes. Just ride and enjoy, find good weather and explore new roads. Love that. Nice Holliday to you as well. Really looking forward to meet you as well. Haha two of my favorite drinks 🤣 Cheers ☕️
This was a fabulous video, probably one of your best. Well edited with a great soundtrack. The scenery was absolutely stunning and reminded me of home (Scotland 🏴). It’s videos like this that inspire me to get out on my bike and travel more. Keep up the great work.
I could not get a better compliment!!! To know that my videos motivates or inspires others to get out there on their own adventures. Absolutely epic. Thank you so much for the nice words. Appreciate it. 👏🏻
Hi Thomas 👊🏻
Great to see your out and about again and enjoying yourself, there are not much better things in life to clear your head than taking off on the bike for a few days, waking up in the mornings in your little home from home, enjoying the morning air and a warm cup of coffee 🫶🏼
Take care buddy, we’ll definitely drink that single malt together next time we meet 😉
Mike & Erica 👊🏻
Hello Mike & Erica 🤩
Really enjoy getting back to the simple life to clear out all the clutter and focus on the most important things in life. Was a really important trip for me this, and made me much more convinced of what I'm gonna do in the upcoming years ☺️
Ooooh you bet we will, and the drink is on me mate.
Truly brilliant video editing as always, great to see you doing what you love. Amazing scenery….
Thank you sir, yes I find this to be really satisfying and enjoy every second of it. 🙏🏻
Another absolutely beautiful film with stunning views 👍👌👏
Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed it 🔥
In 1 week exactly I'll be over your way exploring. Can't wait.
Sounds great mate. Big Adventures ahead I reckon. Cheers 👏🏻
Excellent chapter... I really need to enjoy that peace, in that beauty of place
Thank you mate. I do think we all need this from time to time, just turn off the world around us and be present in the moment surrounded with what is most important. Nature.
Great to see you back thanks for showing all that beauty . Love ur vids just old school way no hotels . Just good old camping !!!! Be safe man !!!
Thank you Mark. For me, camping is half the experience. And opens up for meeting more people than you would in a hotel. But I have no problem booking a hotel if the weather is piss pour and I just want a comfortable bed or hot shower sometimes. But it takes away from what I love most with adventure riding.
Hello Tshansen, another wonderful video and I am already looking forward to the next one. Welcome back, regards Erwin. 😃👍
Thank you Erwin... appreciate that 🤩
Beutiful video, just makes you want to go on a motorcycle trip right away 🤩🤩🤩 unfortunately my bike has currently no front wheel attached 🥴
Haha, thank you Hestad. Looking forward to our camping together. So longs since we seen each other now. How come your front wheel is off? Did you not just change it?
@@tshansen replacing the brakes this time + fork oil + taking care of the damaged speedometer drive unit and more.... 😞🥴😝
@@kihestad Haha, and the best part... that means new video soon.
Hi, my first time seeing your channel, very entertaining viewing and I will tune in again. [try sleeping with a empty stomach, for the nightmares] best wishes from Ireland.
Damn, that is a good tip! I have always learned to eat before you go to sleep, to better keep warm at night. Never thought of going to sleep on an empty stomach... hmm! Need to try this. Thank you 👏🏻 And thank you for dropping in, really glad you did. Cheers ☕️
Hey Thomas, nice Views from Norway...this is real live with time to look around in beautiful Places....good Time to you...thanks for Good Videos....best regards André
Thank you sir, really glad you enjoyed it 👏🏻 Cheers ☕️
Hi Thomas! Thank you for sharing your adventures and congrats for the amazing quality of your work. Cheers!
Hello my friend 🤩 Really glad you enjoyed this. Stay safe, cheers ☕️
Holy moly! 🙈
What a country! Just amazing 👏 safe ride fella!
Crazy beautiful right? 👏🏻 You are well mate. Cheers ☕️
Absolutely LOVE this stuff!! And indeed, i can't imagine all the work that goes into creating this high class content. I'm a fan, so keep it up!
Cheers
Such a shame you can't take your bike offroad in such stunning scenery!
Okt? Är det snö på fjellvägarna då?
Fantastically beautiful landscapes! ❤👍
Thank you so much. Glad you liked it 👏🏻
As usual, great scenery and epic filming
Thank you so much mate. Glad you liked it ☕️
What a great adventure. Would love to come ride your roads someday. Love the switchbacks. We don't have any in my area of northern Ontario Canada. Keep the adventure alive. Ride safe!
Thank you Shawn. You should put Norway on the bucket list. Know it is far away, but always keep dreaming and it will be true one day. I really want to see more of Canada as well. You as well mate, stay safe 👏🏻
Fantastic, been looking forward to seeing new content showing your beautiful country. More markers for my bucket list...look forward to seeing more...
Thank you mate, so much more to come. Just need more time in front of the computer so I can edit 🤣 But we get there in the end. Cheers
Always love your videos! Welcome break from work 🤫 Keep riding and smiling 💚 Diana
Thank you so much Diana. Appreciate it ☺️ Always riding and smiling, no matter what. ☕️
Good work, Tor. You really do some of the best video work on UA-cam. God tur videre.
Thank you so much sir, really humbled by that. Glad you think so. I enjoy this craft and creating good stories. God tur til deg også.
Superb 🤩 - impressive filming & story telling! 👏
Thank you so much, really appreciate the nice comment. 👏🏻 Trying to create better stories each time.
Beautiful country side ❤️
Thank you, glad you liked it 🙏🏻
Simply wow Thomas.
Reminding myself all the time how lucky I am to live in such a great and beautiful country 🤩
I could not agree more...

I did that for so many years growing up, I just can't stand the sight of a gym 🤣
ooooh.. thank you. That is a talent I found In my older years. Guess it runs in the family, old grandfather was a woodcarver.
Take care mate. Cheers ☕
So glad coffee got a mention early on!
Not a day without It mate. It is my one thing every day that makes all the sense in world.
Cracking video as always Thomas! Great work ✨👌🏻
Thank you so much sir. Appreciate the support 👏🏻
Cheers ☕️
@@tshansen Well said!
