#BadOmens #ConcreteJungle #TheDeathOfPeaceOfMind
This album blew me out of the water. So many different sounds; I didn’t even care that it wasn’t heavy overall because it was just so good! Excited to see where the band goes from here :)
Couldn’t agree more!!!!! It was definitley there more melodic album which I wasn’t mad at !! They had a few heavy tracks like artificial suicide, concrete jungle or death of peace of mind, but man Just pretend has been on repeat for days on end!!
If anything some of the heavy parts felt random to me. Like they remembered they were metal somewhere near the end of a song and put a thick riff in there just because.
Sleep Token and Bad Omens for the win
People think everything needs to be heavy or hectic, they're used to more traditional bands. Everything on this album was done with mastery, and most of it is animated. For me it's a 9/10, it just wasn't 10, because of the number of tracks and for not having one more as an Artificial Suicide.
Saw them last night with Spiritbox and Underoath and I was wildly impressed by their live show. This record keeps getting better and better with more listens.
What did the setlist look like? Did Bad Omens include any other songs off the album aside from the singles?
I can't wait for that show
@@amorilla3835 when I saw them they played all the singles except for the grey. Then they played limits and dethrone to close out. Was a great sounding set too these guys are the real deal.
@@albreezy26 sick! Gonna be seeing them tonight and I can't wait
3 impressive bands ❤️
These guys are fucking fantastic live. Even my fiancé was shocked at how clear they sounded. I can honestly say even better then most bands I’ve seen perform live.
Honestly, I didn't like this album at first, but the more and more I listened to it I liked it way more, and now its on repeat constantly for me. It's just really vibey (if that's even a word) and Noah's vocals are amazing.
This is a hard rock/Metalcore band that can do any genre they want and not get shit for it because Noah is such a fucking good vocalist.. it would be a waste of talent for this band to not utilise his range. This album is brilliant.
Such a catchy song
Such a nice album
Loved the breakdown in this one but Nowhere To Go is definitely my favorite non single track
Definitely an energetic song at the gym!!
Absolutely! So glad to see Nowhere To Go getting the love it deserves 😭👌🏻 also love your username and pfp! Ludens is my favorite BMTH song 😆
I love the Hoobastank like chorus in Nowhere to GO! haha
So much experimenting on this album. And I love it. For me, it's definitely a hit.
Very enjoyable album, showcases the different genres they are able to incorporate.
This album shows ways of genre bending and still can be heavy with beautiful voices 🙌
This is my favorite song excluding the singles, it’s so captivating
Perhaps the part I love most about this album (aside from “Just Pretend”) is the confidence I can have in recommending this album to Billboard 100 and other non-rock listeners. With that I think also viewing this album as a potential gateway album for perspective metal-heads gives seasoned metal-heads a better grasp on the direction Bad Omens took with this album. There were a few songs that I was like “the breakdown should’ve gone on for another 4 measures,” but Billboard 100 and non-rock listeners (I’m assuming) don’t know what that is. It’s a chance to let them not just dip their toe in the water (The Grey), but soak in the shallows (Like A Villan) or even dive into the deep end (ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE). While I agree with the points of it being drawn out in the middle, I can also see it being a nice break for metal virgin ears right before being disrespected by “ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE.” Just my thoughts and opinions.
My thoughts exactly
I love this song so much there’s so much references to the past albums in the lyrics!
The production on this album is incredible, everything sounds so crisp. Absolutely loved it from front to back, I didn't mind at all that it wasn't very heavy.
Saw them open for Spiritbox and Underoath last Friday and I’d never heard of them. They were REALLY impressive. His vox were solid, and their live lights setup was really disorienting-in a badass way.
Album really started to drag around the middle. Definitely didn't need to be 15 tracks but still enjoy it.
I super enjoyed this album. Definitely their best album to date
Love the drum work in this song.
I really hope you do a reaction to “just pretend” if you haven’t already listened to it’s literally my favorite song on the album!
Saw them for the first time last night with spiritbox, they were absolutely incredible and blew away my expectations.
when I first listen to this track on spotify, I was like "ooh chill track, so I'm gonna vibe to this". almost felt sleepy (with the track vibe + Noah's melody), that surprise breakdown woke me up tho 😆🔥
I discovered Bad Omens through The Death Of Peace Of Mind (the single), thought it was amazing. Really liked Artificial Suicide and Like A Villain, loved The Grey. Concrete Jungle was an amazing opener when I listened to the album. But the rest fell flat to me. No other song stuck out. The singles hyped me up way too much for this and I feel like my expectations far exceeded what Bad Omens brought to the table here. The only other track I remember liking is IDWT$.
I’ve yet to give the album a second listen, and I’ll see if my opinion changes, but on first impression, this didn’t wow me like I thought it would.
Honestly one of my favorite albums of the year so far
Listening through this album multiple times in my opinion I would think it would be a perfect album if it was just 12 tracks and they scrapped What It Cost (Like A Villain Interlude) and towards the middle of the album the slower songs Who Are You? and Somebody Else. In terms of the slower songs Bad Decisions is placed perfectly cause the first half are pretty upbeat songs and this song gives you a bit of a break going into the next batch of songs and even though Bad Decisions is pretty chill I do like the vocal melody Noah does in the chorus which is a strong point of why I like this song. Concrete Jungle is a solid opener and Miracle is a perfect closer.
Started off fantastic, but the back half of this album was kinda boring ngl. Loved all the singles, so kinda disappointed I didn’t like the full album as much as I thought I would.
I share this for sure. The back half is definitely weakest (with the exception of Artificial Suicide). But it grew on me over time.
IDWT$
Wdywfm
Articifical Suicide
Miracle
?!
Boring?!
@@blakewarford1168 “I loved all the singles.” That includes What do you want from me? & Artificial Suicide. I mainly meant the two b2b low-fi tracks.
IDWT$ & Mircale were cool, but not on the level of the singles.
Everytime you think there won't be a breakdown it slaps you square in the face. Unbelievable album Bad Omens.
Noah is on another level...period....
Check out the new Belmont song “Pain Now” some metal influenced pop punk. Good shit!
Would you mind reacting to HammerFall - Live Free or Die or Hammer of Dawn
This is definitely a mood album. In the right frame of mind, this will hit absolutely different, but on a given day, I’ll likely only listen to a handful of tracks. This is one of them thougk
I love it when people react and say oh it's not heavy before the song is done lmao
My view is that this an above average album. A solid 7/10. I really like all of the songs except for “Bad Decisions”, “Who Are You?”, and “Somebody Else”. Even bad decisions I would’ve been fine with if they did something different with the latter two tracks. If they made those songs heavier like Artificial Suicide I think this album could’ve been a 9-10/10. The vibe they went for along with Noah’s absolutely phenomenal performance on this album still prevail for me besides the poor pacing of the album overall.
I was gonna say it sounds very similar to HEALTH
at 0.59, which band he is referring to?
Absolutely my AOTY. Pure genius from these guys. Everything about it is perfect for me.
Pop Metalcore I guess? And if so, it's the best fit for this type of song.
The fact dethrone was filmed in a kitchen makes me love them lol
Will you be checking out the new Alllegaeon album aswell?
It sounds like they are going kinda the route that bmth did
It’s like this album is what amo was supposed to be for BMTH

И я куплю, ж, хоть сотню душь;

This album gave me that imminence vibe where the singles slapped but the rest of the album just felt all around the same. Focus on new and improved vocals, electronic sounds and ambiance. Yea I did want some heavy’s but it’s still a good album all around it just came as a sort of let down.
This new Weeknd album slaps.
I thought the same thing. Angry Abel
The whole album is fucking MENTAL.
I can't get enough of it.
It’s a fine album, I’m okay with them going with a softer sound, but it does sound like an album with quite a few filler songs. Too many skips on this one unfortunately…
The singles were the best songs on the album imo. A few other decent songs too
As I mentioned in another video, I was a bit disappointed that Artificial S was the only hard banger, but the album’s groove is out of this world!
Hey man I'd definitely recommend Malevolences new song On Broken Glass. Such a banger.
I love that song more than Jeffery Dahmer likes cooking chili.
Say what you want about the albums as a whole, Bad Omens REALLY know how to kick off a record.
my opinions on this album seem to be extremely different from most people's. sombody else and who are you? are my favorite songs on the album.
Album of the year
Pretty good album....Also i absolutely hate that "who are you" track
Most overhated track on this album. It is so good it’s my fourth favorite. It’s definitely the most laid back and chill but that isn’t a bad thing. Infinitely more atmospheric and chill than “bad decisions”
@@artistrankings6794 Yea maybe it's a good song and i am just being too harsh on it but when i listen to this album and as soon as i hear that lofi music type beat i just press skip!!😂
and yea I'm also not digging "bad decisions"
This is so Linkin Park. Loving it!
Please please please please please please with 1,000 more pleases go react to bad decisions by bad omens you guys are sleeping on the song the song is fire again please please go react to bad omens bad decisions and upload it on UA-cam thank you
Gotta be honest, I sorta hated the album. Been listening to silent planet a lot so going to this was just kinda simple and boring. I’ll come back to it when I’m out of my silent planet fix haha
It’s a good album but not as good as I was hoping for. I was expecting something more energetic but it got very “sad boi” sounding. I was hooked in the beginning but getting towards the back half I was tempted to start skipping songs. IDWT$ perked me back up though. They weren’t bad songs but you gotta be in the right frame of mind and I just wasn’t.
Why are people hyped for this album? I never heard of this band and not sure why everyone is hyping this album up. I’m just genuinely curious. It’s like they try to throw a break down in to satisfy a harder side of their fan base yet they go back to some pop rock sound that I’m not a fan of. It just doesn’t blend well for me.
Because they are awesome af and just because YOU haven't heard of them that doesn't mean anything , they want to try doing more cleans and definitely doesn't sound pop rock
Their style isn’t going to be for everybody. It’s what it is. Personally, I love them, and I loved this album. It’s beautiful in my opinion. You should give it a few more shots. You may find yourself liking it by the end of it.
Vocals are incredible, 11/10. Best singer in metalcore by far other than Marcus from Northlane.
Other than that this is the most memeable album I’ve heard since TeeHee.
Whoever green lit this steaming pile of dog shit at Sumerian needs their pink slip.
Basic 4,5- 5/10 album. Way too many songs, 11 would‘ve been better
Singles were best tracks, almost every non single has the same structure. The Mix and Production are the only good aspects i can find about this album
