Thanks for the update. I liked the format, there’s nothing wrong with keeping it real. As others have said it’s just good to be able to watch a Melbourne gardener.
You have no mistakes to hide! Love your content and authenticity always, editing can be great but all round perfection is unrealistic ! Still delivering, still watching :)
I check on my seedlings every 30 mins to see if theres any more progress 😂 Similarly, i check to see if youve uploaded another video. I love seeing your garden videos and watching your garden grow ❤
Your presentation is fine as some of us are here for the info and update not really here to critique or find faults, well I can speak for myself. I enjoyed this video and to me it doesn’t matter if it’s unedited I’ll still watch since we’re from the same place it’s good to see how a fellow Victorian is going..So thumbs up 👍..
I’ve recently discovered your channel and your beautiful farm as well! I hope the pests leave you alone, I spent the whole weekend netting to try keep the possums / rats away - I know you’ve had similar challenges!
@@ChristieCooper wonderful that we found each others channels! So far so good with the netting and frost cloth I’ve been using, but the cockatoos fly around each morning so I’m constantly checking on the garden.
Thanks Ayva for this info, I have used Seed Collection for many years, always cheap and good info on packaging, had not heard of Boondie Seeds, have just put an order in with them 😊
Ms Christie, what's yur take on using neem spray for insects/fungus ? Is it used in yur neck of the woods much ?? I've had big problem here in Philippines I think with aphids/white flies in my okra pots last 6 months. I started neem a month ago & the okra is now looking VERY good but I also changed the soil in the pots which may have been at least part of the problem.
I've decided not to grow them this year because my kids didn't eat them last year which was super frustrating! I got an abundance of fruit and no takers haha. Cucumber seedlings and baby cucumbers - yes I will :)
Hi there I'm wondering why you are doing seeds the long way most veg seeds don't need light mine germinate in 24 hours most of the time ps get yourself a heatpad I hope that helps you.
Hi Christie, where about do you get those label stickers from and the diameter of the ones you are using, like that idea I’m currently using a dymo label thingy and quite slow doing them

Great feedback, thank you!
couldnt have put it better
Your bubba is adorable!
Unedited videos are fine. Keep it real and keep 'em coming
Thanks Kimberley ☺️
Honestly so happy to see all your content however it works for you to film it! 🌱
You're rad. (See what I did there? ;) )
Love the raw unedited format , keep up the great work
Glad you liked it!
Seedlings are looking fabulous. Little Miss Lucy is in great voice. Love the video format.
She’s got a good set of lungs on her - even when she’s just chatting!
These videos are cool, please don’t stress as a new mum….just upload when it works for you 🙂
We will still be here , just loving an Aussie UA-cam
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Wish I could shoot video with no mistakes like you. Great video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Also I planted the same pack of dahlias 3 weeks ago & the germination was great, they're strongest seedlings at the moment in Melbourne weather
Yay! I’m excited to give the dahlias a go!
Love the rough and ready format! Also it means we get to see lovely Lucy. 😍

Thanks for your kind feedback! ☺️
Love this so much, keep up the raws, so enjoyable! And so realtime showing what's growing well in Melbourne!
Thanks Ella! Will do another one in the next day or two ☺️
Thank you again. Love these updates.
You’re very welcome!

Aww thanks for the lovely feedback!

Hi Christie, I'm new to your channel and enjoying your videos. Thank you! I hope your garden flourishes this year. Amy :)

Do you use a heat mat?? I am growing sugarbaby watermelon as well.
I don’t use a heat mat but that room gets really hot so I don’t find I need to. Hope your watermelon grows well!
Boondie Seeds and The Seed Collection are great online shops for $1.50 packets of seeds!
I’ll give them a go, thanks!
They are literally the best seeds for Melbourne. I have used them for years and they are fantastic!
Thanks Ayva for this info, I have used Seed Collection for many years, always cheap and good info on packaging, had not heard of Boondie Seeds, have just put an order in with them 😊
Was like Spring today in Canberra
It’s been very spring-like in Melbourne too! Bring it on!

I try to use as few sprays as possible but neem oil is supposed to work quite well for aphids!
Prefer the raw unedited format. Quick question : are you going to sell cucamelon seedlings? Love the baby commentary.
I've decided not to grow them this year because my kids didn't eat them last year which was super frustrating! I got an abundance of fruit and no takers haha. Cucumber seedlings and baby cucumbers - yes I will :)
Things are sometimes too curated on UA-cam, love a bit of reality and totally relate to the juggle
Your UA-cam name suggests we’ve probably got a lot in common! 🫶🏼
@@ChristieCooper we do 🙂
Hi there I'm wondering why you are doing seeds the long way most veg seeds don't need light mine germinate in 24 hours most of the time ps get yourself a heatpad I hope that helps you.
Yep I keep mine in the shade until they sprout then move them into the sunroom as soon as I see the first sign it’s peaking though.
Hi Christie, where about do you get those label stickers from and the diameter of the ones you are using, like that idea I’m currently using a dymo label thingy and quite slow doing them
Dymo labels are not only expensive but they will totally fade and disappear in a few months. They are made of that thermal fax paper like receipts.
Got these from the kids craft drawer! Possibly from Kmart? I’m not sure how well they’ll last over time with all the watering!
