I had a tfb themed birthday party this year, and i love them with all my heart but will likely never be able to see them cause they dont come to Canada!!

come on mat, where's you drumset that bums me out that all he wants to play now is his bongo the reason I ever listened to the front bottoms at first was because mat was so creative when he drummed and there was so much energy put into each song. (don't get me wrong after a while I began to love everything about the front bottoms they are now my favorite band) but now I hardly see any drumming from mat at all and it just kinda makes the front bottoms... not really the front bottoms... I don't know maybe im just being a Dick but I just wanna see mat play his drumset with all his great energy.. does anyone else agree at all?
If you look up older live performances, Mat often opts for smaller instruments, such as rhythm eggs, tambourine and so on. My guess is they went for a stripped down set and will bring the drums back on tour.
honestly same not that the bongos are bad but i preferred him playing on his drumstick box to this just my opinion but yeah maybe it'll be different at tour shows
