I would like to do a pass it on with Jemma and sally with like a Christmas cake 🎂 or a cake that has to be sold in there crumbs and dollies shop. Love the images for Jemma and sally on pass it on It would be an interesting for an ultimate chefs battle with poppy, Ben, Jemma and sally with tag teams in a Hell’s Kitchen format or master chef Australia with Jamie being Gordon Ramsey
For me it's a fail, it had 6 layers but some layers were doubled up. Plus, where's the fresh fruit, could have use macerated strawberries with vanilla bean as a layer. I would love to see a battle like this but with the normals vs the chefs/bakers
I was saying Wheeeeere's the fruit? My Mum always did a sponge layer with port sprinkled on it, then canned sliced peaches (drained), then custard over the peaches, let set then would add cream, Jelly and then the same again then sprinkle crushed flake on top. Good try guys. I guess a pass.
That's a fail in my book, two bakers and a chef had 30 minutes between them and the result was something I could easily make in under 50 minutes. Not that I'm blaming the bakers or the chef.... Barry is 100% at fault :D Great episode though, I'd love to see a do-over.... perhaps Ben or a baker should go first though! :D
Maybe next time you can manage to get all 6 together you can pair 1 normal with 1 chef/baker and give them each a set amount of time in the kitchen to make a specific dish, pastry of some kind perhaps? They have to each take 1 turn at a set amount of time and can't know what the other teams have done. Example: Ben starts in the kitchen with 15 mins. and sets everything he can up for his teammate to come in when he leaves, then at time in comes Jamie pass-it-on style to hopefully continue the pastry on through to finish. It's not perfect and could be changed around but I think it would be a delicious and fun idea. Always a joy to watch some Sortedfoods, keep it up everyone.
Mike, you put in 15 layers, 3 on the og one and 2x6 on the other two... so you have blown this task out of the ball park :D Also I love it when Barry goes first because he always manages to mess things up, very good entertainer :D
Woah another great episode! And did anyone notice the small moments when Ben was talking to jemma about ideas and the failed chocolate fudge with basic but still technical knowledge? I don't think we've ever seen Ben show his chef-y/professional side around other chefs. With James they were more friends but it'd be nice to see Ben working with chefs to do something!
I'm planning a 6 layered dessert of my own: 1. (Top) Broiled marshmallow fluff with cocoa powder & powdered sugar dusting 2. Brown sugar graham cracker (digestive biscuit) crumble 3. Mashed banana with oats and honey 4. Vanilla rice krispie treats with chocolate peanut butter cups and a chocolate drizzle 5. Chocolate pudding (custard) with M&Ms 6. (Bottom) Chocolate chip cookie/crushed nut fudge brownie roll slices with caramel drizzle I'm still trying to decide the best nut for the brownie bit and I'm open to suggestions on any of it.
Funny that they picked the same order Poppy picked for them! Also holy hell the amount of times Jemma had me do a double take with what she said. She rivals Ebbers in that department!
Should do this again with all 6 of you cooking and you have to make 1 layer each, stacking up and adding different flavours and elements, would be really cool to watch!!
Poor Jamie. It must feel so devastating to be the guy who gets interrupted but the ladies just made sure the trifle works and I feel like it had not so much to do with Jamies performance.
I said the same. Jamie was stopped because Barry's contributions ended being useless. He was making over toppings that needed time to chill/set. Not wrong, but Jemma and Sally were also right the sponge needed to be done.

I really like Jemma and Sally. They seem so happy.
"We're bakers, not chefs." There you have.
I REALLY LIKE this format with the guests stepping in!!!! It is REALLY interesting and entertaining!!
And Jamie, who added water to a jam that needed to reduce and set quickly, wasn't at fault as well? 😂
Great collaboration!
love the look of Sally watching Ben talking 19:12
It just feels like whenever Barry goes first his "contribution" doesn't make it to the final dish.
The theme song on this just makes me smile so big every time ^^
I love when you have guest chefs for pass it ons it adds a whole different element and even more hilarity
I love this format with the experts watching and intervening. Do it more ☺️
Please keep bringing in delightful guests like Jemma, Sally, and Poppy! They’re lovely and add a little sass that James provided.
The variety of ways to make one of these is mind boggling. Great romp in the kitchen with talented guests. 👍😃
I do love that the guest bakers got their own lil cards with statistics
Barry's hair is looking great. I really like it. Also I think it's a pass.
I absolutely love this episode! Jemma and Sally should come back for a few more videos!
I have it on good authority that if there’s anything that needs to be done early on, it’s not happening. I dub it ‘The Jelly Principle’.
I'm planning a 6 layered dessert of my own:
1. (Top) Broiled marshmallow fluff with cocoa powder & powdered sugar dusting
2. Brown sugar graham cracker (digestive biscuit) crumble
3. Mashed banana with oats and honey
4. Vanilla rice krispie treats with chocolate peanut butter cups and a chocolate drizzle
5. Chocolate pudding (custard) with M&Ms
6. (Bottom) Chocolate chip cookie/crushed nut fudge brownie roll slices with caramel drizzle
I'm still trying to decide the best nut for the brownie bit and I'm open to suggestions on any of it.
"Barry really *BLEEPED* this up"
^ can we get a gif for future pass it ons? 🤣🤣🤣
I want to see Mike's reaction when he finds out he ate stuff from the bin.
Great episode!
Honestly i feel like ben took the blow a bit harder
even the chef got interrupted lol
I said the same. Jamie was stopped because Barry's contributions ended being useless. He was making over toppings that needed time to chill/set. Not wrong, but Jemma and Sally were also right the sponge needed to be done.
Guest chefs pass it on would be carnage!
Without Jemma & Sally this was a train wreck !! Loved every moment !! ❤️😂❤️❤️😂❤️
OMG! The sound of the numbers in the beginning...I was starting to panic while desperately trying to locate my dog because that sound is the sound he makes right before he blows chunks 😱😂
im so glad mike said "delilah" after saying "why why why"
