As a man my impression for these gifts is that they are ok or mediocre at best. But in my experience me and and my friends don’t really care what we’re given. We don’t expect girls or anyone outside our friend group to know what we like well enough to give a good gift. For us it’s the thought that counts. If you spent a lot of time on a gift we’ll be happy cause imo knowing that someone loves you enough to really wanna give you a good gift is the best feeling in the world. So don’t stress it too much.
Also about getting girls gifts. Makeup and stuff don’t go for all girls or maybe they do but we’re clueless and if it’s a suitable gift. We don’t know what to get. It’s all the same to us. It’s hard to find a good makeup gift cause I don’t like the feeling that I can’t even do something as simple as get the right colour or whatever. Knowing that we maybe could’ve gotten something better or something like that.
