Building my first electric guitar was truly a joy. Seeing it being played during a 2h rehearsel, seeing the players facial expressions.... There are no words to describe that....
@ohbrother_creative really enjoyed his playing in the beginning, he has a great groove. Thought this was his channel. Thanks for the introduction to him.
Lovely film. After 7 years doing woodwork at school in the 60s, I took up making guitars and ukuleles during lockdown. I'm now on 10, 11, 12 and 13. I find it a fascinating yet challenging process. And the buzz (no pun intended) you get when you string the instrument for the first time is a rush!
Thanks so much for the comment - pleased you enjoyed the film. Yes there isn't many people that play classical standing. Zoe Barnett (instagram.com/zoebarnettguitarist/) is a fantastic player - following an injury she found this was the only comfortable way to play.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes you are correct, not many people play classical standing, but after an injury Zoe found she could only play comfortably on her feet. Nick's guitars worked perfectly for this method of playing.
Hey Philip, thanks so much for the kind comment. No he is still making them - not sure why the website link isn't working, but you can also connect with Nick here instagram.com/nickbranwell/

That sounds like a great experience. Really pleased to hear the film resonated with you. Thanks for watching.
I can dig it. If I'm not shooting a revolver at the range, I'm building grips for a revolver.
What?! You're a great player too man!
Thanks for watching.

Hi there, what song is being played at the intro 0:20?? Its so nice. What a beautiful little glimpse into this craftsman’s world
Hey @tinylittleboy, it’s actually his own little “warm up” tune he just plays about with. Really sticks in your head right, beautiful little tune.
It’s first time ever I saw someone playing classical pieces while standing. Lovely movie though d;0/
