Wow!! What a transformation,I lived & work in Hitchin for 10 years from August 1964 to September 1974 on verulam road. I return to Barbados in 1974 , When I saw Hitchin on my phone I was so amaized at the transformation it's a beautiful place.

I went to Hitchin boys school and found the atmosphere to be very toxic. Hopefully it's better these days but for me that tainted my experience of living in Hitchin and one of the reasons I moved away.
