I'm a fan of releasing Top 10 yearly lists the next year, but December 31st might be as good! In other words, do you think there's a possibility for more 2000s and early 2010s rappers to be covered on the Worst rappers in the game? series? I would like you to cover Pitbull and his early work.
I find it very weird that the feminists want Chris Brown cancelled for what he did 15 years ago to Rihanna (I'm not saying thats wrong), but they openly make fun of and entertain Blueface and Chrisean which is a genuinely concerning toxic relationship. I just got out of a toxic one myself and I have family members/friends who are currently in them, and i guarantee you there is NOTHING fun about them. If you don't leave on time, it could clearly end in someone eithe dead or gravelly injured. I do have to say one thing about Chrisean though: NEVER trust a woman with another man's name tatooed on her body. I made the mistake lol
"Why does this sound like a reference track for a weak Baby Keem song?" OMG YES! THANK YOU! I thought i was the only one that thought the inflections and lyrics sounded some straight from Keem.
also fun fact the aesthetic and sound of demons by Doja cat is bassicly just a inspired by NYC rapper BigKlit who has been making this type sound for over 4 years now
I like it too, but I just have to turn it off when that girl starts that talking which makes me usually miss the 21 Savage part. But sometimes I just listen to it anyway
Wow! CDTV dropping TWO end of year lists on time? That’s crazy! But as for my least favorite hit songs, probably Vultures. Idk if it charted, but my god, oh lord it is one of my least favorite Kanye songs. Horrible mixing, really lackluster intro verse, slightly above average Lil Durk verse, horrible Ye verse, equally as bad as Ty Dolla $ign, and the beat isn’t that amazing. Honestly, the only thing I haven’t mentioned is that Antisemitic Line… that alone makes the song deserving of being on the list.
Jackman was one of my favorite albums of the year. I'd love to hear why u think it was average but his lyricism and more specifically his honesty on that album is something hard to come by in this rap economy
To me i think it’s alright lyrically but nothing too outstanding, it feels like more surface level lyrical rap imo delivered in a very straightforward manner. Not a bad album by any means but i just think he doesn’t necessarily excel at storytelling or lyricism so it fell quite flat for me, but i respect your opinion on it for sure 🙏🏻
Honest question. Does objectively bad hip-hop still exist in 2023 or is everyone who says something is bad just "hating"? I'm 45 and I don't remember anyone throwing a temper tantrum when I said things like Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, or Mims was objectively bad in the 90's. Maybe the reason the music has slumped is because we have people labeling all criticism as negative or "hating." Therefore people aren't challenged or motivated to make better music!
i 100% agree with you, when i’m talking about me “hating” here at the start of the video it’s meant in an ironic sense directed towards people who label any criticism as hating 🙏🏻
@@Kenzxi_XTG Ok, I said this somewhere else, but, the song to me what makes it good, is how incoherent it is, and how it’s so incoherent that it’s wraps back around to being coherent. And also Sexxy’s hook has grown on me a lot, it would’ve been better as js a Sexxy and SZA track.
