That opening of the bar by hitting it on the stem waa a thing of beauty. My expectation for my own try is going to he high, yet you know the reality is going to be so different.
Look a like an awesome race! Very jealous watching everyone uploading their Sea otter videos! Need to find sone way to get out there myself next year. 😉
My home trails! Very cool watching you guys ride Ord after watching for awhile. I typically ride MTB out there but sometimes bring out the gravel bike.
I came over from the UK with my bike to ride La Gravillia this year as well. Technical single-track, sandy sections and that last climb in that heat 😮....I was pooped. That mid point water station needs improving though. You defo need bike handling skills for some of those descents. Looks like you had a great time too. Defo recommend doing it for any gravel rider.
I have raced that course multiple times... It’s not technical Francis 🤘😂🤘 Great content as always, I wish I wasn’t stuck in a Bike shop... I would have come down to say hi. 🍻

I had the exact same thought when he did that :D
The ol' spaghetti package trick
These are my home trails (literally in my back yard). For reasons you now understand, my hardtail serves as my gravel bike 🙂 Glad you enjoyed.
To me, Lucy will always be known as Sigma Sports Lucy.
I’m sure she loves that 🫠
I always think of her as tiny head lucy
@@zakcollins987 LOL 😆I forgot about that 🤏
Right exactly
Love the new studio videos but this is the content that got me hooked to your channel.
I’m from Monterey and have been sub’d to Francis’ channel for a long time. Stoked to see my back yard on screen. Stoked! Glad Sea Otter was fun!!
I’m just stoked he survived staying in East Oakland with Lawrence and James a few years ago 😂
@@ElonMuckX East Bay can be sketch for sure. But there’s awesome parts too.
This year's gravel course was basically last year's xc mountain course. I wish I could have made it to Sea Otter this year.
Francis is the first person I hear use "Unbound" and "easy" in the same sentence.
Need this in my life
Great ride & great video (of course).
And nice to see "Lucy the American."
Hellooooo Malcontent 🙋♀️

Lucy is a real gem! one of a kind

Haha, "remember your roots Lucy" 😅
Everything's bigger in America. Apart from Lucy's head.
Just had 2 boxes of Bar50 hit the door mat so will be trying the quick entry at the weekend 🤣✌🏻

Seems to more like Gravel/Mountain. Glad you enjoyed the time in the sun.
2:04 “Sho shandy” pro standard vibes 😂
Mike seems like such a sound guy to ride with
Course of the race looks AWESOME

One second or less of Molly Cameron from Portland Oregon! Cool
Woop, a riding video 😃
Am I the only one who heard Francis' dry chain noise?)) Or maybe it was some other tech noise) Thanks for the good video!
Kinda funny how what everyone calls a gravel course is basically my old commute to work lol
Fair play, Francis. Not an easy course.
Great outro
Next stop malverns classic!!
what frame pump do you use?
Thanks Francis and others..Lucy ?
Sam's bike looks cool
Get any poison oak? It was pretty dense on the return leg of the course.
That dude did not know Ken 😂
Was “Hurl Hill” part of the course this year?
wanna see more cade x vcletsgetit collabs yes i do
Have to agree with lady at end, no point doing a fake accent if you British speak that way Especially in America they live the English accent
It was a joke
Francis, is that a MET Rivale Mips helmet?
Dude Rockcobbler 2024. Do it
@Cade_Media, Guys why is Styrkr not shipping to Switzerland? 😢
Is SF Bay Area next??
RIP that guys innertube.
where pump-action-francis?
Wow everyone on my YT subs is at Seaotter!
Seriously. Its fun to see all the different experiences people have.
Wow Lucy got hit with that accent comment. Low key diss that.
Those Alba glasses are cool 🤙🏼
Norcal trails are insanely good right now, looks like you had glorious riding and weather out in Monterey!
Hellooo
What happened Francis?! I thought gravel bikes were the best bikes for everything, and yet he kept you out of breath the whole time! 😂😂😂
First!!!????
