We've had our 170 EXT 3500 van for 2 months now, and have taken it on 3 ski trips so far, camping in Sno-parks at night, I've driven a Toyota Tacoma for 22 years - and the size and length of the Sprinter van is not nearly as hard to drive or park as I was worried it would be. There are so many features like the rear view camera and lane assist, these big vans are way easier to drive than you would think. And the extra 18" length comes in handy!
🤔 I've been to several van shows and the ones I asked said the Promaster 3500 had more cargo space and a new Super High Roof in comparison to the Sprinter not being a domestic easier to find price deals parts and repairs.
They end up being something that just rattles. We have actually uninstalled them for people who had builders who put them in. The constant rattling noise drove them crazy 😂
The two black passenger seats you have behind driver seat......are they ordered as an option by Mercedes or its after market? basically wondering if installing an after market seat will be road legal or not.
I am doing a lot of research on these Vans. Pretty sure I would get a 170 ext. I want a usable garage in the back that could haul a dirtbike or two mtn bikes. I am thinking that happy Jack bed system is what I would want. Can I sleep on it while keeping the dirtbike still in the van safe from theft at night? Like can you sleep on it at any height level and it will handle the weight? Thanks

So true! We completely agree about how easy it is to drive and you definitely don’t notice the extra length on the extended

How come you guys don’t put a flip up top or outside table on the galley? Especially when the counter is shorter the flip up helps a lot.
