I really enjoyed playing the beta, but after watching the team continue to refine the cell phase for 10 years I’m starting to wonder if it should be shipped off as a microbe sim and not a stage of life sim, as it almost feels like the stage is disproportionately more developed than the rest of the game
Tbf the team only rly started working on the for the past 3 years, like it was slow paced before that, ngl I think in a year and a half or less we will get a fully finished multicellular stage, and a better fleshed out fishy stage. Like they have made more progress in the game this year then the past 9, like so much is being added and faster
I have an organism in the game called the "Ironhide Plankton". It mostly feeds on Iron, Gluccose and other cells, and it has three flagellas and two cilia for mobility. It also has three chemoperceptors for searching for three different types of compounds
Unfortunately after I got a binding agent and binded into a multicellular creature the game ended. I can't wait for the next update

Answer to your question, yes there is going to be multicellular including plants.
There will even be civilisation, but it will take such a long time we'll probably never see it happen. Our grandchildren maybe.
The team is really small so it's going to take a very long time

I don't have high hopes that this game will ever be finished since I have been following it for over 7 years and it is still just cells.
To understand that you first need to know what happened to this game production a while ago, if you followed it for sometime you probably noticed that for a good amount of time the game almost stopped giving significant updates, that's because the team that was developing the game got almost completely disbanded. It was not until very recently that a full on new team continued this game project for good this time.
Let's hope this dream project one day comes true
Keep in mind it took the Earth billions of years to leave the cell stage.

again, youve released another trailer video where you show everything that was in previous trailer, i have no clue what has changed in this version based on this video, it would be way better to release devlogs where you show only the stuff that has changed instead of trailer every month or so.
They have devlogs on their website but I agree

Jeśli włączysz trailer sprzed pół roku, nie zauważysz żadnej różnicy w porównaniu z tym najnowszym. Zamiast nich mogliby zamieszczać filmiki informujące konkretnie o zmianach. Zwłaszcza że mają już te zmiany opisane na stronie i mogliby je po prostu przeczytać na UA-cam.
