Peacock's 'Teacup' star Yvonne Strahovski and showrunner Ian McCulloch paired up to discuss the horror series premiering on October 10, 2024. Yvonne Strahovski and Ian McCulloch talked about the book, female empowerment, and Strahovski discussed playing a mom who will do anything to protect her children.
The Plot: A terrifying tale following a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. Scott Speedman, and Chaske Spencer also star, and McCulloch and James Wan executive produce. The series is inspired by Robert McCammon’s Stinger.
The interview took place at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con.

This is one of my favourite books ever. This guy fills me with dread. He's admitted that he's took the novel apart and threw it away. Then wrote whatever he wants. I don't think I would have watched it anyway but I'm now sure I won't watch it. I hope they don't let this guy loose on Swan Song.
