Wrong. Sanitization removes their memories, it doesnt KILL them. Yes, it does remove their souls (trust me, I was surprised too but yes. They have souls.) but they're still living beings. Marina is doing what she can to help Sanitized Octolings to return to theirselves, which is what the Splat3 DLC is all about.
