    I dig it. Just wish it didn’t have the logo sewn in.
    I’d prefer a stitched on ‘’patch’’ or something like that that’s more easily removed.

    For me, this bag is dedicated for the Grey Man , mostly at urban environment. I believe that can also cary inside a water pouch.
    My only issue , is the upside-down velcro pockets. These are useless, except packing a rolled raincoat. Other than that, this is a nice back pack , with good design, that keeps you under the radar doing your job. Good review my friend.

    Hi Aaron,
    I would love to hear your "long term" feedback on this bag. I have come back to this video a few times as the price in Aus works out to 120 with shipping but I can get 511 bags for under 200 including their stealth bag. I love the look and features of this bag over 511 stealth and Rush Series but some comments highlighting the lower grade Polyester over Nylon has me concerned along with the higher price tag. I have the 511 Lv13 and love it but there are time I just want a backpack to for overnight travel or a day out with the family. Laptop carry is handy and I don't like the Rush 12 style of it being hidden in the back.

    Purchased this right after posting a comment on your other video asking if you were going to review it and don’t regret it at all! It’s my new edc/work bag and holds everything I used to carry in my vertx commuter sling 2.0 in addition to my old work bag. My main issue with the vertx was definitely the lack of bottle pockets. Great review!

    Last LAPG bag I bought was a waste of money! Fabric started to fray at the seams in several locations after just a few months. Bought a 5.11 Rush bag and never looked back, so much head and shoulders value and quality above LAPG gear and still looks like new after several years of constant hard use. So...unless LAPG has seriously raised the bar on their quality, I would advise folks to use caution before buying their products. Buy once, cry once...in other words spend the money needed to buy good quality the first time around. I would look at spending my money on 5.11 or Maxpedition gear before anything from LAPG. Just my opinion...

    Nice pack. It looks to be a well made, well thought out backpack. I personally think grey man makes no sense. Like you said, it doesn't make you look like you know what yer doing. To me, that means, you look like a target. Most people won't mess with the guy that looks like he knows what he's doing. Even others that also know what they are doing, will target the ones that look like they don't know what they are doing, first.

    • @DevDog67
      @DevDog67 Рік тому

      It depends who you're trying to avoid being targeted by.
      Different criminals target different people.
      Those who target the weak are usually very weak themselves. If you're capable then those kind of people aren't going to be a problem. They're cowards and aren't likely to have any real kind of skills.
      The whole grey man idea is to avoid being remembered by the people who will hunt you down or target you fo your gear. Aka the more dangerous type of people. The kind who may already be well-armed or have large numbers. If you stand out because you're carrying nice stuff you may as well be advertising all of your nice gear to be taken.
      Where grey man applies the most is in places you're unfamiliar with an need to blend in, places where you won't have backup and want to fly under the radar to avoid confrontation.
      It's exactly why I think it's incredibly stupid to walk around open carrying in public, or wearing blatantly obvious branded clothing or clothing styles for well-known tactical gear companies.

    • @randyyeager
      @randyyeager Рік тому

      @@DevDog67 if your carrying a nice new expensive pack, it's not going to matter if your grey man or not, you're still going to be a target. It's more about if they think you can defend yourself.

    • @DevDog67
      @DevDog67 Рік тому

      @@randyyeager that's exactly why I'm not a huge fan of bags that look all techie like this one.
      It's not grey man. I realize that some people think it is, but it's absolutely not.
      Like I said earlier, the point of grey man is low profile. Techie gear may be low profile in certain areas, on college campuses and other places where people carry around laptop backpacks on the norm. But I agree that it's absolutely not able to blend in everywhere.
      Everyone has their own preferences. But I still don't think it's smart to show your cards in public. There's a very big difference between being tactical Timmy in public and appearing to be a hard target.

    • @randyyeager
      @randyyeager Рік тому

      @@DevDog67 I don't think having a military pack is showing your cards. It just says, "I might have been in the military and likely have a gun, so don't mess with me." I don't have anything on the outside of my pack besides pouches that match my pack. I'm not showing my cards, just showing that I might have cards.

    • @DevDog67
      @DevDog67 Рік тому

      @@randyyeager military styled bags also have a lot higher chance of having good loot in them. If you're scoping out people to steal from I mean.
      If you wanna make yourself a hard target, don't use your bag to make yourself look like one. You yourself need to look like a dude people shouldn't mess with. Being big, in good shape, bearded, sunglasses, all of that works in your favor. Arm tattoos can infer than you're someone with a certain type of background, the kind you don't want to mess with. Clothes are part of it, but wearing tactical type clothes is again, not helping you. Wearing simple utilitarian clothes that fit a wide range of backgrounds that fit with the persona you're building is also a good thing.
