Instead of putting on the floor and using feet to lock the first bit of the tire into the rim, I found it much easier to use a table mounted vice to do the same thing (use wood to avoid scratching rim with vice). Once the first bit is locked in with the vice, it's not hard to lever the rest on. if you want me to share a video of my method let me know
It does, but its worth it because it takes away all the anxiety of punctures and debris on the road. One important thing is to choose a tyre with rounded edges, I made a mistake bying cheap ones that are almost ”flat” resulting in less ability to turn, but I live with that 😂
Yes it does, and can reduce your range by 15% - 25% due to the weight and additional strain. It also causes risks to the scooters frame and components as it'll be taking all of the bumps and shocks to the scooter frame, whereas air filled tyres typically take the shock away from the roads. Solid tyres aren't that great. The stock self sealing tyres on this particular scooter are so much better. The ride is more comfortable and they rarely go flat when punctured as the tyre will immediately heal.
Solid tyres are great, but do worsen the ride quality, potentially causing fatigue of the scooter frame and components as the scooter will bare all the shocks and vibrations which air filled tyres normally cushion out. They can also reduce the scooters range by around 15% - 25% due to the additional weight and direct strain on the motor. They're quite heavy bits of rubber arent they... They're also prone to flat spots if you brake hard and lock the tyre, where it may grind against the ground. This can cause a bumpier ride. They're also difficult to remove and replace. Worth it to prevent flats, but for me, I prefer to stay with self sealing tubeless tyres.

I use this method too when fitting customers solid tyres to their scooters. Works a charm
Thanks for a great video
Omg tysm u helped me finally finish it❤❤❤❤
Does that take the comfort out of the scooter? I’m just trying to figure if this is something I wanna do. Thanks

do you reccomend solid tire for g30 max? is it better to use tubeless with jelly or (witch is hard to find here) or this one?
The ride is a little tougher but definitely Worth it Imo
Can you also do this to the rear tire as well?
Yes
why did you undo the brake line?? the drumbrake slides out of the wheel regardless
Probably for more freedom to fit the tyre so the rim isn't tethered to the scooter, giving a shorter space to work and install

👍👍👍👍
Rather adding bigger wheels without putting up with thinner tires are such nightmares
Real easy especially when u weigh 300 lbs 😅
But I think it's all scratched now
Instruction how ho scratch the front rim😄
As soon as I saw clamps I clicked off
tehre called wrench ubone heaqd hahakidding
