When you hit the puberty your voice goes into changes and if you don't have a good technique you will brake your voice and/or completely lose the good part of it, so yeah they are right, you can't sing the way Yedam is singing if you don't have a good coach and a maintenance team behind you, the 8 years wasn't just to wait him hit the puberty but actually to help him transit from one era to another era. Look up kids who sang way better than 2012's Yedam and sing horrible today can't hit high notes nor stay in the tone. He is good and was good before that is for sure,but don't downgrade the team who was behind him all this time and made him the Yedam he is today.

There’s something on Yedam’s voice that is so magical & captivating. Not just the high notes, falsettos, runs or adlibs but the voice itself overall and I guess he really has that gift of interpreting any song he sings.

@@avointhearvo5930 Me too, but I don't think he'll sing an english song. He will for sure consider what the judges would like. I've seen a few KOMS episodes (with Rose and Yoon), I think mostly the judges are into high and powerful songs. So, I'm so curious now as to what Yedam will sing.
