Duran proper reminds me of Balotelli. If you gave Duran some fireworks, he'd probably set them off in the bathroom, too. I wish that he'd change his mind about leaving, but nothing else. The chaos is everything 😂
its sad but undestandable,, we need a first team squad and are struggling with finances so short term we need to sell the kids,,, and if selling tim and omar gets us tammy then its not all bad etc etc,, but kellyman sale is sad
It's been said many times Tammy, but having just come back from a serious injury, probably wouldn't expect to be the main man at Villa, at least not straight away, so playing second fiddle to Watkins shouldn't be too much trouble and the fact he is closer to Watkins in terms of ability compared to Duran would be trusted with more than the last few minutes, but capable of starting games and keeping our standards high unlike the dropoff with Martinez and Olsen. On the way back from injury, he'd be able to motivate Mings, Buendia and Kamara having suffered the same himself, have tips and advice for recovery, and the fact he's won 2 European trophies, the knowledge and know-how in the big games the others in the squad haven't experienced on big stages, it's just a shame he's not still on the Chelsea books
This is what these youth players are brought to Villa for. Our youth system is pretty much a money making machine. The sale of players like Iroegbunam and Kellyman, and plenty of others now, means that Villa can go out and bring in senior players and balance the books for PSR regulations. It's a business model that has helped get us to the Champions League. Hopefully, these youngsters will have a career in professional football and look back on their time at Villa fondly, but they were never really going to play in our first team.
Only thing is we have to hope they dont go on to be amaz8ng and kellyman really does have high potential some say the next jude belligham and if we only got 19 million one day in a few years we could be saying we badly lost that we got neither the great player nor the vast money he is now worth so we just have to trust the judgement at villa hope they wont sell the next bellighams so easily
@@petersmith2522 Yeah, I agree there's a certain risk in doing this kind of thing, but if any were showing signs of being that good then I'd suggest we wouldn't be selling them. The coaching staff work with the players everyday, so they should have a good handle on what a good deal is. I don't think we've made a mistake yet...
@@vforvillan9502 im hoping thats the case that the staff and manager know more than us and can tell a gem when they have one but maybe its the ffp pushing us into just easily allowing our gems to move on cheaply hes not really at the sale stage a loan would have been best for us really
Aggravating! Watched Villa w/ my son n Orlando last summer n was asking who's this Kellyman? Hoping he stayed under the radar bc was really looking for to watching him. Understand but this sucks.
I think you will see us go for a versatile player who can potentially play out wide alongside Watkins but also play the striker role when Olly isn't available , I haven't seen much of him but I believe Johnathon David maybe able to play this role ?? I think we are seeing a great amount of versatility within the players we are currently recruiting which can only be a good thing .
Not all footballers are the same Paul Gascoigne was a maverick and nobody tried to change his behaviour and I'm doing so would take something away from him. We need to work with Jhon Duran he has alot of potential which cannot be ignored.
I’m still baffled about us selling Jaden Philogene, a LEFT wing that we need. And him being a crazy english talent. I’m still wonder how this happened..
At the time he had Ramsey and Buendia ahead of him, Diaby had just come in and we were only playing with one out and out wide player. He also wanted to leave. The only bad part of the deal was it was only 5m, but that’s balanced out by the killing we made on ARamsey and Archer, then the purchase of Morgan in the winter.

Why are we getting rid of our top future talent? Madness.

I think Rogers might be Ollie’s understudy, he can easily play up top IMO.
Simple it’s getting around PSR which is why are seeing strange transfers between teams who are in PSR difficulties

Rogers as backup striker? Illing coming in and JJ and Buendia back, the left side is covered..

I reckon Chelsea may have second thoughts about Jhon after your previous pod ! the guy is in a hurry shame really let him go and get as much as we can
Judging Cam on his spell with one of the worst teams in Premier League history with a -60 goal difference is a bit harsh for me.
Liam Delap would be an excellent replacement for Duran. We'd be well shot of Duran, and I reckon Delap will be a better player..
With a haircut like that Kellyman needs to go

Duran = Balotelli Jr. Get rid of him, he doesn't suit Villa and Villa doesn't suit him.
Chelsea are Brighton fc now why did there's clowns running Chelsea buy Brighton from the beginning
