I went to Pak vs India game in NY. The result was disappointing but the game and experience itself was amazing. We were outnumbered by Indian fans so it would have been good to have you there, Akbar. We played well for 90% of the game. Plan a show in Toronto too on your next trip 🙏
I love your podcasts. Sometimes, your Mic does not catch what you are saying. Eg. Last part where Jango bhai is appreciating Ali Sir for supporting the woman artist. Ali Sirs laugh is one without a mic. Eg2. When you 3 talk on top of each other one person is missed out on audio. Probably your sound card but can be something else. But love the show, please keep it going, it makes my day! Was too gloomy today but this was such a life saver. JazakAllah and stay blessed guys!
@Akbar: I was there in the FAST NJ event, you were good but I agree that it was a tough crowd. Most folks were in the mid-age, bit reserved now and may not enjoy "college type" jokes. Folks from Lahore/Isb didn't get you Karachi jokes. Great episode!
As someone who has an accent and never travelled anywhere west and also picked it up as a kid who use to watch alot of american content. In my defense Amtul, I grew up in a household where a fluent english speaker was considered more educateed compared to someone who spoke urdu mainly. My dad would constantly compare my cousins and I's english and when I started speaking like the americans it got me more validation and acceptance to the point I ended up adopting the accent completely since i waa 5 years old and now 19 years later, I can't get rid of it no matter how much I try. Its also my least likeable thing about myself cause i know my accent makes me sound very uncultured and its also the reason why my urdu is TERRIBLE. Sorry thora sad hogaya but thought to provide some context hehe. Obsessed with yall. Please keep producing in bulk. 😚
Costa Rica sounds like a lot of fun ! If you’re out doorsy you should definitely visit Iceland and Hawaii you’ll find all these cool outdoor activities there and much more . Minus the snakes 🐍
I worked in a call center back in 2004. I still value that experience and was telling how it opened me up in my speaking skills. Also I did get a fake accent add you are constantly trying to imitate them for 9 hours straight. However, my final accent is weird and lots of American have asked me where I am from as they get confused, my answer to them is that I have Hollywood accent as I learned English vocalisation from cartoons and movies and I have never been to US

I had same situation like Akbars.........the airline is not that good. i didnt like the food and next to toilet seats always has an old couple who are going to toilet or argueing or putting food items in their bags etc
Wales is beautiful. I love the beach there. London ki heatwave is 17 ° degrees with thandi hawa. 😂😂. I said to my work colleague k Pakistan main subha k ek baje bhi 34°. If you haven't do explore Scotland, isle of white also.
