- Brittany Brown talked confidence, winning out of lane eight and her bounce back from injury earlier this year as she takes home the women's 200m in 22.32 (-0.2), beating out a stellar field that included Shericka Jackson and Marie-Josée Ta Lou-Smith.

Let's go, Brittany Brown . Finally, getting your flowers 💐
Congratulations!!! Keep the consistency up and hopefully moving forward they will give you some better lanes. Honestly I think that chip on her shoulders made a difference in a good way. Can't wait to see the US Trials
She sounds like my middle granddaughter explaining something to me !
All giddy and bubbly !
No matter how mad I am and how much she has gotten on my nerves, we end up laughing 😆
USA all the way and all day!! Let's go!!!
Respect is due to her, and respect to the others too. It’s only one race; More to come. Let’s see - all the best to everyone . Peace and Blessings 😍
😂 she’s funny
Not sure what’s happened to Shericka Jackson this season but she needs to buckle up for this Olympics. Not run sub 22.8 this year. A bit worried. Nevertheless, the Jamaican women always perform in the big meets/championships.
The second and third fastest woman in history are struggling mightily this year, sharika and Elaine. Could open up a golden chance for a gabby Thomas. Shaqiri or Julian Alfred should be there too but it's hard to double. Excuse the voice to text errors
@@Sough Yeah they are, up ur to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised to see Shericka still pull out the win in Paris. She sure knows how to perform in championship races.
I agree with you.. I’m very concerned about the Jamaican female athletes this year. Elaine had a very poor opening performance, and now Shericka seems to be struggling. We can’t put too much pressure on Shelly Ann this year
So help me understand, you just watched a 3:21 second INTERVIEW of USAs Brittany Brown. Then found it relevant to come to the comments to talk about someone from Jamaica? This comment is so off base. Why are Jamaican fans such terrible losers?
obviously, you all don't know Jamaicans, especially the female runners. This just warm-up. She is talking too much, too. Be humble🙏🏻
I don’t know what’s she saying but wow I like her shoulders
😮
Maybe it's not for you to know what "SHE IS SAYING". It's always one of Y'ALL. It never seems to amaze me.
The old pros know how to time their peaks. Winning races at this time doesn’t mean much other than the times.
Congratulations Sis! Keep running right by them...
Congratulations that’s why I love Track and Field 👏🏽😀🎊❤️
She’s really not well known though she did win silver in 2019 in a watered down field. That explains her being in lane 8.
Outside lanes are characterize as the lanes for slower competitors. It can be an advantage or disadvantage it depends on the sprinter. Lanes 345 are considerate to be lanes for the faster sprinters. Its based off the time he/she came into the meet with. They take the time he/she place from another meet and rank based off those times. Just because she won today doesn’t mean she’s the best. She was the better sprinter today. Like any other sport you’ll have great meets then not great.
True, she has shown to do well to qualify, but when it comes to the big stage, she is absent.
Let em know Britt!! 💐
keep this Amazing Athlete out of Lane 8 Give her Respect!
You looked amazing!
Greeeeat! You are Wonderful..show them in Paris whose the BOSSSSS!! GRRRRRRR
Always have words for the media and keep up the good work
.you'll win no matter what lane your in,if u have that talent it will show.
ppl sleep on Brittney brown.....shes not well known but shes a beast. 200m specialist, made 100m final at worlds last year despite injuries.....shes definitely one to look out for.
And now she’s a bronze medalist at the Olympics
Congratulations sweetie! You did great!
Well Somebody has to run in Lane 8 when the race is stacked! Even Abby ran in Lane 8 in La Grand Prix and she won Bermuda before that!
This was an interview about Brittany brown, why are we talking about Abby?
What’s so bad abt lane 8?
I guess she doesn’t like lane 8 and maybe she needs a new agent if he or she couldn’t make it happen for her but you won in-lane 8 after all the hoopla so maybe you should stay on lane 8 😅. Great race and great victory!!
😮😮Wow. REALLY NOW. Congrats. BIG UP
Seems like she wanted lane 6
Congrats Britanny
Is it more ground to cover on the outside line or just perception?
Same ground,,,the turn not as sharp but some ppl rather run with a perspective..i.e somrone infront to guage,,nevertheless each runner must run their race they trained for irrespective of the other runners.
Matter of fact it looked like you got second in LA to me...
Get better world rankings and you’ll get a better lane
She was 3rd behind Sydney in La Grand prix
The original Native Black Queen 👑😘❤️🥰👑👑👑👍❤️😘. 👑Z👑❤️😘
Respect love 👏🏾🇺🇸🇺🇸
Where was the race ?
Oslo
Get a faster start and you'll set records!
Why peak now? And then cant do anything come August
Because the trials are in a few weeks that's why
Far from her peak tbh
Ánd whoever says that she looks like she’s on steroids needs to look at themselves in the mirror
Thought she was gonna bust out that ARETHA FRANKLIN, for second.... R.E.S.P. ECT... find out what it means to me. 😂😂😂😂
That was a horrible interview. She needs work on her media presence.
😂
Excellent interview from the heart
I think she is genuine and funny. She can talk the talk but will have to back it up when it counts. Plus she was nothing but positive and confident. Good luck to her.
Well ummmm.... she sounds like how she looks
How does she look? Please tell
She’s beautiful
What does that mean???
. M,😊😊
PEDS
You're not a Karsten Walholm. You don't get to dictate what lane you want. Maybe in america, not here.
Well actually she has a faster pb and sb than some other ladies so she has a point
She is second fastest personal best / personal record after shericka jackson... Other just more sub 22 ++.. only two girl sub under 22 secs.
This is what happens when you speak out of emotions, you sound daf... LOL
@@shinsei7560 R u crazy Prandini has a PB of 21.89!
@@MalingaPeries-no6vy ok i forgot about her, still not many under sub 22
I apologize in advance for the huet feelings, but this woman is built like an NFL LINEBACKER....THICKEST NECK, SHOULDERS AND LEGS I EVER SAW ON A WOMAN.
😂
She’s beautiful though
The aspect ratio is off on this video.
Exactly my point
Hmmm… I thought the same thing. Who knows these days.
