  • Brittany Brown talked confidence, winning out of lane eight and her bounce back from injury earlier this year as she takes home the women's 200m in 22.32 (-0.2), beating out a stellar field that included Shericka Jackson and Marie-Josée Ta Lou-Smith.

Congratulations!!! Keep the consistency up and hopefully moving forward they will give you some better lanes. Honestly I think that chip on her shoulders made a difference in a good way. Can't wait to see the US Trials

Not sure what’s happened to Shericka Jackson this season but she needs to buckle up for this Olympics. Not run sub 22.8 this year. A bit worried. Nevertheless, the Jamaican women always perform in the big meets/championships.

The second and third fastest woman in history are struggling mightily this year, sharika and Elaine. Could open up a golden chance for a gabby Thomas. Shaqiri or Julian Alfred should be there too but it's hard to double. Excuse the voice to text errors

@@Sough Yeah they are, up ur to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised to see Shericka still pull out the win in Paris. She sure knows how to perform in championship races.

I agree with you.. I’m very concerned about the Jamaican female athletes this year. Elaine had a very poor opening performance, and now Shericka seems to be struggling. We can’t put too much pressure on Shelly Ann this year

So help me understand, you just watched a 3:21 second INTERVIEW of USAs Brittany Brown. Then found it relevant to come to the comments to talk about someone from Jamaica? This comment is so off base. Why are Jamaican fans such terrible losers?

obviously, you all don't know Jamaicans, especially the female runners. This just warm-up. She is talking too much, too. Be humble🙏🏻

She’s really not well known though she did win silver in 2019 in a watered down field. That explains her being in lane 8.

Outside lanes are characterize as the lanes for slower competitors. It can be an advantage or disadvantage it depends on the sprinter. Lanes 345 are considerate to be lanes for the faster sprinters. Its based off the time he/she came into the meet with. They take the time he/she place from another meet and rank based off those times. Just because she won today doesn’t mean she’s the best. She was the better sprinter today. Like any other sport you’ll have great meets then not great.
