- whats up, this time ive got an artcore tutorial since a few people requested one.
I'm not the best artcore producer, im quite new to the genre myself, so this is just a take on how I would personally make it. Hope you can enjoy it anyways. Let me know if I should actually finish this track as well, I haven't decided yet.

omg this genre is exactly what ive wanted to make but i had no idea it existed thank you for making this!
no problem!
Just learned about it from another channel, "mechanical god" was the song.
@@pros_0143 AZALI!!!
@@kakajuro when did you join the team making the everglow mod. This song is my favorite boss theme from it. You're a great producer!
@@CGJero hate to admit it but that actually isnt me😅 we just have the same producer name. I noticed this as well and will probably name change to avoid confusion like this. sorry about that, not much of a terraria player either unfortunately
This is probably the only competent artcore tutorial I’ve seen in the past 5 years
glad you think mine is a competent one!
I heard Artcore for 7 years .....
However, I learned the real definition of it just now .....
Thx U for your intro of that 😭
That helped me a lot to comprehend this miracle genre 💯
the definition u gave for artcore is so general it can probably apply to all modern music😭
I appreciate that you put more effort into chopping up your breaks than some people calling themselves breakcore producers these days even though they weren't the main focus of the composition hehe. Also notable that this seems to be mostly made up of free libraries and synths which just goes to show that it really is all about the notes that you put down and not the plugins that are playing them back!
I can easily imagine this gonna have a Hopes And Dreams reference in any moment of this song
Now I wanna see Hopes and Dreams remixed into more of an art core style
yooooo! tysm windclimb for clutching up with the artcore tutorial! this actually helped me out a lot and this actually helped me grasp the fundamentals of what makes an artcore track!
no problem at all, gl making artcore!
Youre my hero for this orchestra plugin. I was in desperate need of a real sound lol
这应该是最容易理解的artcore教程,感谢作者把最基本最重要而且更复杂的部分尽量简单化,尽管这种风格制作起来很难。
i've been struggling on where to start with this, but this video came in clutch
i thank you for this.
glad I could give you a start point
ive been making this genre without even realizing it had a name 😭😭
How do you make something as specific as this
@@3sedem idk i always liked mixing orchestral instruments with dnb lol
bro- you are so good at making this stuff… you are so unique!
This is probably the best tutorial of this genre i've ever seen... thank you. +subscribed
thank you!
Thank you very much. I'm waiting for the day when someone will teach me this style!!! (Really thank you from the bottom of my heart)
super glad I could help you out
Yeah dude he hearted it and the heart is in the bottom of ur comment
Nice bro!
Thank you so much for the tutorial, I was bored and I made a quick beat with the help of your video and sounds pretty neat 😊
i just found this on my recommendation and i try to find like years about these genres and how to understand it at least a bit and i found this one thank you so much
yeah there really arent many tutorials on it so I felt like I had to make one, glad it helped you out!
@@kakajuro i belive because it's legit super rare and when i see like, there is some music booming either artcore or other genre like hardcore but still on lvl of arcade community, thats why to make like these info are so limited.
One of the best tutorials i have seen out there, even though im not interested in the genre. But i would've liked it if you had shown everything together here and there after a few layers. Just so i can follow a bit better to why you're adding what you're adding and such.
glad I could help out! ill try to do that in my next ones
This is super cool, thank you
Incredible video, very easy to follow also. Will give this a try tonight :)
thank you for the artcore tutorial :D
no problem
😎 keep up the tuts 💪🏽
Thanks for the tutorial I really appreciate it
Glad I could help!

Dope🎉
this is the music genre i like but i only found out about it now
Yass bbc symphony
informative.
Breakcore part is jungle, it's a really nice video nevertheless
My first time hearing what artcore was. Kinda feels like most of what my fave songs in rhythm games, osu, cytus 2
I was super exposed to it from rhythm games too actually
Just started watching this and my first impression was "This sounds like late 90's Japanese RPG & anime music... So we're calling it artcore now?"
@@HyperNova137 I guess so since artcore is kind of an umbrella term, not too sure how well I hit the actual style but there are alot better examples on this channel if you wanted to know more
ua-cam.com/users/Afflictive
i recommend you camellia
I was thinking “this is just Arcaea music” before learning about the name 😅
bro as soon as i heard the chords i knew i heard the finished song before. I watched shiryuus video and listened to moth dance way before i watched this
오미친, 걍 감사합니다…
super
my man out here creating anime intros
Labs instruments are always panned to the left for some reason, asside from that good tut.
thats weird, I didn't know that tbh
where are those drum samples from, they sound so good :0
W
What were those piano and strings libraries you were using?
i keep trying to use labs but it wont work no matter what i do. there's always some error when i open it, I've tried like everything i can find online.
where can I find sum good drum kit for artcore?
You, Shiryuu, And Azali are my favorite artcore producers! Anyone know where Shiryuu's channel went? it just dissapeared
Where'd did you get the Perc (3) sample?
Can someone explain to me what is Artcore? I tried to understand but couldnt
HANG ON A GOD. DAMN. SECOND.
HOLD ON A NOTCH- isn't this the theme of the Corrupted Moth from the Terraria Everglow mod?
What a coincidence! I was just casually looking for an artcore tutorial thanks to some inspiration I've acquired from AZALI, who is an artist I looked up to and has done artcore himself.
Anyway, I have to say that what you've taught and showcased to everyone here is a wonderful display of art at its core. And thanks for the tutorial!
Love from the Calamity side of the tMod community!
Exactly! I didn't know windclimb made this! Along with shiryuu and someone else too.
glad you liked the song and the tutorial!
Damn, I got inspiration from AZALI too!
AZALI fan here too lol. Well I’ve liked art core for a long time before finding AZALl, but he made me think it was possible to make music for some reason
6:08 i know it doesn't feels "centralised/focused" (dunno how to explain it) and feels like a transition, i just can't find any solution to it... The song is awesome anyways, keep it up
yeah I think I kinda wanted it to be just a transition but I don't remember tbh, thanks for the support anyways!
Hey! Thank you for the video, really helps. Do you know of a good place to find downlifters, risers, crashes and the like?
cymatics and kshmr packs are my go to's
@@kakajuro Thanks for the answer, I'll go have a look.
0:32 who knew too that feryquitous whould be an example?
She's like the queen of artcore. Of course she would be included.
damnn i always wanted to know what genre this was
What effect did you use on the piano to make it sound like that? I'm using spitfire soft piano and they sound nothing like the one presented in this video.
I think it was OTT, EQ and maybe some reverb
the new sonic game better have music like this
4:21 where do you find these perc loops>??
which drum kits did you use? i have some of them like the cymatics starter and the blu mar ten jungle jungle pack but im looking for good hihat loops like you used
cant remember exactly which packs i used but i believe theyir were some jungle , some hi tech and some dubstep ones
how to osu soundtrack
very cool. whats the drum sample pack that youve used? i need some amen breaks man
I used alot of cymatics dubstep packs and for amen breaks I normally just search and find them wherever I can honestly lol
where did you find your drums?
very nice, i think maybe can add some sidechain
ill make it more noticeable
dunno if im just 'tarded but this sounds like orchestral drum n bass
also wheres the hardcore elements (it cant be artCORE without the "core")
you forgot glitches and fast-paced growls, but still a good vid
yikes, thats actually true sorry about not including those things

appreciate it!
dunno if you still see replies, but i wanted to know how you made chords transition so well. i cant figure out how to make chords of a different key go well together
There are multiple chords per key, if you're changing keys with every chord then that's a bad thing.
Aye that wasent bad. What programs do u happen to run
glad you like it, can you explain what you mean about the programs?
3ds pokemon battle music genre
the 420th "like" 😎
boss fight music
Where are the drumkits? Do you have the link to all of them?
im pretty sure this is where the main part of the drums came from (cymatics.fm/pages/dubstep-starter-pack)
I honestly dont remember where I found the rest of them sorry
@@kakajuro Oh, okay! Thank you, mister!
how to camellia music
I havent listened to alot of camellia's new stuff, I enough people wanted to see it I'd be willing to at least try it
Hey, I made song by this tutorial, but it sounds very similar to yours, can I upload it to youtube and do I need to credit you if you do give me permission to upload?
upload it for sure! just link my channel in the description and its totally fine
@@kakajuro ok, thanks!

I am completely unqualified to make a dubstep tutorial, I want one as well lmao
