Great to see a shout out to Blue Jeans . Always felt it was underrated in scent , performance and uniqueness. Just discovered your channel. Really love it . Nice fresh take on it all .
Great list 👍 and great taste... I have about half that you mentioned and the descriptions you gave are on point ! Now you made me want to get all of the ones I don’t have... thanks 😝
Great list man 👌 I bought a 50ml of Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Cologne before it was discontinued for $20 at TJMaxx. But now it’s gotten more expensive because it’s discontinued. I’m glad I bought mine when I did because now a 100ml costs $65 on FragranceX. And that’s not super expensive, but when you think about how affordable it used to be, it makes a difference.
Good list! I wore PE 360 Red for years back in the 00s. Ideal Cologne, such a unique and beautiful fragrance. Works very well in warm weather. Blue Jeans is another great smelling Versace. Versace in general is a powerhouse for affordable fragrances. A few you’ve mentioned that I haven’t ever tried I’d like to try. Thanks brother and keep up the great vids!
Ahh! Versace Blue Jeans what a classic! I’ve been wearing this for decades. What a great list I think I will definitely add Dunhill Century to my collection.
Hey thanks for noticing! I'd still work just as hard if no one did, because I love doing it - but it's nice when someone notices. :) Really appreciate you watching!
Good vid. I have some "cheapies " , can't wear the higher priced frags all the time lol...and this list is very good. Have few you mentioned and will check out few others on list, thanks for the list.
Cool list, I absolutely LOVE Versace Blue Jeans, only discovered it 18 months ago and finally bought it last January (so it's not nostalgia talking, unless it's subconsciously!). A great versatile and unique fragrance, I smell more purple than blue, OK maybe indigo blue, not sea blue.To me it's a year round scent but not in the high heat, summer evenings maybe!
Versace Blue Jeans is a banger for sure, amazing scent IMO, can't believe how much I've reached for it during the year I've owned a bottle, recently got myself a back-up! Because this, Tommy Hilfiger & CK Shock (among others) are so excellent for low prices I have a hard time paying more than 20 euros for a fragrance these days 😅
Great review as always, tommy! I like the idea wirh the scent trifecta! But no need to turn sideways all the time, looks kinda weird, imo;) Have a good one
Haha, fair enough! How about not going full Bill nye?! U could turn sideways, without nodding OR staring right in our eyes nodding all the time, that'll do;))
Very nice video. I can see that some of these fragrances were priced down because of the ugly bottles. That makes it a difficult gift. Thank you for going beyond the cover of these perfumes.
Oscar de la Renta Gentleman is such a unique smell to me. I own nothing like it. The grapefruit really punches me in the face. I hardly reach for it but I'm happy its in the collection. Funny how people say the bottle is tacky as if a real domino piece is made from steel or marble
Exciting vidoe. Ck one shock and lhomme ideal cologne took time to grow on me now I enjoy them. Are you able to do a vidoe of fragrances that grew on you. Would be interesting
I am SO cheap and your choices confirm it beyond all reasonable doubt. I was thinking about Zippo original which was 5 GBP and Yardley 1770, reminiscent of Burberry London, to me: just under 5 GBP. If I end up with garbage, I haven't spent a fortune. (And it'll still get worn unless it's horrendous.)
I do collect men’s scents and have over 100 now but just won’t spend much over $100 on a bottle. $150 - $400, not I. I just won’t do it. Love a lot of your choices and most are affordable. 👌🏼
Used to wear Versace Blue Jeans as my daily frag back in the late 90s. Totally agree about Oscar De La Renta Gentleman and Guerlain Ideal Cologne. Both are total hidden gems and punch well above their price points. Got 2 bottles of OdlR and 3 bottles of Ideal. Ferragamo Uomo and Ginger Lover are both on my shopping list for the near future..
@@StudioScents Above average longevity, average projection on my skin. NOT a screamer, but no wuss either. Better than RWA and pretty damn strong on clothing. I shudder to think what's going to happen when people find out about this one. The value is almost comical. 😂
Good day Tommy, just want to ask your opinion. I already have Dylan Blue and Versace Eros. After I watched your video last time of YSL Y EDP, do you think YSL Y EDP will be redundant to buy? Btw, I'm in my 20s and lives in a tropical country. Thanks. 😂
YSL Y EDP is a much more bright and fruity version of "blue" fragrance than is Dylan Blue and Eros...it's my absolute favorite blue fragrance, besides the expensive BDC - plus it's very youthful in nature, so perfect for someone your age. Definitely get it, if you can, you will not be let down.
For you older fellas, if you’re looking for a couple of masterpieces for about $20 to $25 dollars for a 3.3 ounce, lookup Aramis Tuscany and Aramis Havana. Both are damned good. I give Havana a slight edge. Both can be worn year around. Tuscany...you can dress up or down. Havana is good for about any situation 👍💯
You may have just made my day sir !!! Just looked up the notes and I seen tobacco and I was SOLD !!! Tobacco is my absolute favorite in a fragrance. I have PDM Herod, Aramis tobacco reserve, D&G the one! Wish I could wear a tobacco fragrance year round. I live in Nashville and it’s HOT !!! Like 110 heat index today.
I've become a huge fan of the Dunhill house, and Century smells like nothing else in my collection. Blue Jeans, 1 of my "emotional attachment" fragrances, so classic. And L'Homme Ideal Cologne, I mean, banger!
Perry Ellis Red and 360 blue juice are both fantastic fragrances. I totally agree, they smell expensive, really sold quality. You can get a 1 ounce of 360 at Marshall’s for $9.99. I really like the Juniper berry in it. Another that smells fantastic and expensive is David Beckham Instinct. I picked this up about a week ago. It’s not a masterpiece but it’s damned clean. Soapy with a touch of Vetiver. Worth every penny. Paid $13.50 for a 2.5 ounce.
It's definitely the best Beckham. I'd be inclined to leave the rest, (with the possible exception of Intimately Night for men.) Great for autumn, spicy, quite sophisticated.
Hey that was just one list...I plan on including Bentley Intense and Bentley Absolute in another...they are fantastic! I really like Visit too...time it should be in a list as well....
@@StudioScents Azzaro Visit is truly an underrated gem in the fragrance world. The scent is so heavenly beautiful. I love the bentley for men absolute too.
CK One Shock is an absolute banger! I'm so glad that 90% of frag heads will overlook it because they think the bottle looks cheesy -- more uniqueness for me! I think Shock really suits warm evenings -- I get very "red" / "sunset" vibes from it :)
@@thetattooedguy1413 Yeah I love Burberry London! I still have a bit of a 1mL sample of it that I smell every now and again -- eventually I'd love to get a FB. London always strikes me as very like... thanksgiving/christmas-y. I can't think of any other scent that fits that mood quite as much, for me. Whereas Shock I feel is much more versatile, for whatever reason.
Himmat Singh I absolutely agree! My winter staples are London and PDM Herod. I love Herod but London has that Christmas feel to it for sure, great holiday vibe.
Gracias!! Todos muy buenos perfumes. Has probado los perfumes de Milton Lloyd color me? Son muy buenas fragancias fabricación inglesa. Si las tienes, podrías reseñar?
I am pretty sure “the almond cologne” has been discontinued. At least the other cologne UA-cam feeds all keep saying that. Which sucks, cause I really wanted to check out that almond smell.
Versace Blue Jeans is a much admired fragrance but on me it smells rather youthful and cheap. I’m sue to nice on others, ithas too many fans so it’s definitely just my bad chemistry. The opening is rather nice, it smells like a cola.
@Rod T That...doesn't make sense. No offense...but, you realize the bottles of Versace Blue Jeans are being made with aroma chem and ingredients available TODAY. Not from a 90's ingredients list. I don't think ANY Versace fragrance smells cheap.
Versace Blue Jeans smells great , fades fast. I can only think of 5711 as a fragrance that performs so poor. I doubt I get 20 minutes from either and that's after 10 sprays.
The 360 red is the original ADG but on steroids. Fantastic and best bargain out there with outstanding performance. Just wish the bottle didn't look like a female sex toy.
Great to see a shout out to Blue Jeans . Always felt it was underrated in scent , performance and uniqueness.
Just discovered your channel. Really love it . Nice fresh take on it all .
Thank you for featuring Blue Jeans! It’s one of my favorites and I’ve been wearing it since high school. It doesn’t get enough love in the community.
I agree, Blue Jeans is an extremely pleasing blend, and it's crazy cheap! Thanks for watching!
Am i the only one who cracks up when he looks at the note trifecta??? 😂😂😂 nice video as usual
hahaha better enjoy it, I'll probably stop now that I realize how funky it looks :D hey thanks for watching
😂😂I was dying
@@StudioScents Actually it is a good addition to your videos. Keep it up.
Ferragamo F Black in my opinion a hidden gem. Excellent video
I've been watching a lot of these "cheapie" lists and I'm pleasantly surprised to hear about some that I'd never heard of before. Great video.
I really like that you show the bottles longer and at the bottom corner, great, thank you 👍
Nice video and list.Keep them coming.

You know your stuff so well. One of the best videos about cheap but good smelling colognes I’ve watched in a long time. Great job
Very well edited and put together review!!!
Thank you, Chris!

I bought Ferragamo Uomo from TJ Maxx for $15 when they opened back up over here. I really do like the way it smells
Very nice video. I can see that some of these fragrances were priced down because of the ugly bottles. That makes it a difficult gift. Thank you for going beyond the cover of these perfumes.
Versace blue jeans is great, used to be a daily wear for me. Feels dated to me, it originally released in 1994

Versace had a fragrance called metal jeans that I had when I was younger and it was great i just remembered it seeing blue jeans
I prefer a more natural-smelling alternative to the blue Perry Ellis 360: Inspiration Pour Homme from Al-Rehab.
Carolina Herrera 212 is amazing. Smells great and booms off my skin. Top smell and cheap price.
L’Homme Ideal Cologne is still highly available in the U.K. for £19.99 ($25), which I suppose is a good thing.
