    Well, you couldn't have asked for a better start to the fishing. That was one big feisty fish. Thanks for sharing your day.

      Thanks so much. It was amazing. Hoping to make this an annual trip, but if we never get a big one like that again, that's ok.

    Love your bumper music....who is playing this please

      Great question. I had to do some searching but it is a portion of a track called "Ride It Like You Mean It" by Krisian Leo. I have a new track on newer videos and I don't remember where I originally got this one, but it is on Soundstripe... app.soundstripe.com/songs/7930 ... I'm using TuneTank for all the music now. And thanks for watching.

    Just fyi.. the trail of 98 is referencing the pack trail of 1898.. when miners climbed over the mountains in 1898 to reach the copper center mining district

      Ohh wow. Thank you for sharing that. I had meant to try and look it up and completely forgot. What a different time that was.

      @@whereeverheleads I almost turned buying one down. Let me tell you, it paid off big time. I will never leave the marina without one. I've wasted $10 on far worse things.

    You can catch massive common skate I think the record in Scotland is 300lb not as big as the halibut you can catch where you are 🐟🎣😂

    What was the rod/reel/line for that catch

    • @whereeverheleads
      @whereeverheleads  2 роки тому +1

      I am soooo sorry I'm just now responding to your comment. I completely missed the notification. If I remember correctly it was just 100lb braided line on an open faced reel but couldn't tell you specific brands.

    • @littlegoobie
      @littlegoobie Рік тому

      don't know the rod, but the reel is a penn senator 113 or possibly 114. fairly popular halibut reels

    Can you recommend a Christian fishing charter service?

    • @whereeverheleads
      @whereeverheleads  Рік тому

      Hmmm... that is a good question. I actually don't know of any. This was a personal friend's boat. We did a charter this summer. The captain was nice enough but certainly didn't mind language. We had some good conversations tho.
