Richard: Thanks--this is superb singing in every way. Sad to say I've been listening to opera for 50+ years and this is the first time I have heard Roden. When he sings the "silver trumpet" phrase it perfectly describes his sound.
Would you believe he sounds almost the same now, in his mid-80s? He's been my teacher since 2002, and has guided me through my career.

Wonderful singer. Saw him as Florestan in Adelaide. If one can sing Tamino, Judas and Florestan, one has one's technique in check!

Having been on a Masterclass in Norwich many moons ago Run by Tessa Cahill & Tony Roden, trawled out of interest anf found this. Rather good.
