Have always wondered if the moves in Assassin's Creed, could be done. Have seen the city parkour do them and add to them. This takes the moves from Assassin's creed 3, and made them real. Real cool video.
I find parkour fascinating and very impressive. I also get a bit goosebumbs when watching cause i wonder how the parkour practitioners bodies will look in 20-30 years when the joints and everything is overused? Life is weird i guess
@@acteone I said "in 30 years" not " a 30 year old man" . At 30 your body is around its peak biologically. I mean 20-30 years as in: you in your 50-60`s . I did track and field for 10 years when i was younger so i have some experience with hard training and the price it bears. I really hope you will have your knees and your spine discs intact in a few years. I dont mean this in a sarcastic way. I really wish it for you
Not necessarily. While parkour has been used as a term within the community to differentiate between Freerunning by describing parkour as “a to b style movement” nothing actually has been set in stone to make those terms anything different. parkour and freerunning derived from the same sport from France (Freerunning really just became a sorta rough translation from what I know) and people just decided to split those two terms into meaning different things. And even professional freerunners/traceurs use the two terms synonymously so I don’t understand why we can’t just do the same. Even within Freerunning and parkour there are a TON of subcategories of styles of movement that separate athletes from each other and we don’t distinguish those from each other by calling them different sports. And of course people outside the community often have never even heard of freerunning before and only recognize it as parkour. So it makes it much easier for those people to find this sport when we title it as parkour.
Definition of parkour: Getting from point A to point B by foot the fastest and shortest means possible. Red Bull: Do as many flips as possible! FLIP THERE. Go back and then forth again, but on return do a flip. Go back. DO A FLIP. Spin, flip, go back, run and flip. NAILED IT.
Acrobatics on uneven terrain vs acro through uneven terrain . . . not quite the same and does not really make sense to me, a rock climbing mountaineer . . . I would LOVE to see Krystian plain old moving fast and efficiently through a rough high alpine environment with drone in chase, way cool. Either way, the shoes worn seem terrible for natural ground, looks like he's plain ol out of his element and unpracticed there. He did one amazing job considering all that! Awesome athlete, I hope he finds his way in this new environment of beauty while expanding his skills in it, get that guy some Sportivas!!! The level of camera crew, while somewhat interesting and educational seemed . . . uh well . . sure left a big scar to say the least . . .
Red Bull, since you guys are a big recognizable brand and seem to care about parkour please do make a distinction between parkour and freerunning in your videos. Otherwise we will keep getting trolls and pk purists saying "this is not a to b blablabla"
He's quite good with his flips and a few tricks but if I'm being honest he is not very fast at all when it comes to getting from A to B as you would expect Parkour is for, which it is to get from A to B as fast and efficiently as possible which he is not really demonstrating. and it looks like he has drilled these routes more than once and yet they are so short and not the fastest ways only some of the coolest which is not a bad thing but still I feel I am "better" when it comes to Parcor in my way at least. Not trying to hate on this guy at all I think he is sick and a lot better than most at what he is doing his way of Parkour. Just wait till I get into it mainstream I'm not quite old or famous for it yet xD.
I wish every Forest would be like that
Honestly Red Bull videos will never disappoint. Amazing quality love it
Wide view on camera is just awfull. Cant focus on movement but on flashing background
Stupid camera man
*this is what i thought i looked like when I ran through a forest as a kid*
This is quite close to what poped up in my mind 18 years ago. Glad to see it was not just me.
0:47 was such a beautiful movement

Wpadnijcie kiedyś na Gran Canaria, możecie skakać po polach lawy!!
I still remember when parkour was all about going from point A to point B as quickly as possible, now it's all about back flips
agree
I think that they’ve merged free running and parkour and their meanings too much
“Just not the same as back in my day.”
I remember when parkour was just running in the woods trying to hide from predators. Just not the same as it used to be.
It's definitely not a parkour here, it's freerunning
So close to 10 million subs!
I love how doing this as a kid it's just playtime but as a grown adult... it's a job.
Dank euch hab ich jetzt richtig Bock auf Parcour und werde es selber ausprobieren 🔥🔥🔥

Producing videos like these is my dream job. Starting to learn various softwares and techniques for the same reason. Hope I'm there one day.
Keep doing it no matter what 👍

I started 15 years ago and now I am 30. Feels good so far 😀

That looks incredible and dangerous. How does he plan his runs when the terrain is so unpredictable, amazing ❤️
This is Awesome 🔥
Crazy how much budget they put into these videos
The Moment of an Assassin

Free running. Parkour was about moving through a space, not doing extraneous backflips.
Yep

Kept thinking he was going to Hot Rod it down the side of that mountain. 😂

I disagree. Urban parkour is much more fun To watch.

Parkour is simply gymnatics outdoors for those not good enough to compete at gymnastics indoors.

Forest is harder because you got many
different objects to deal with
I was hoping for tree climbing and jumping from one tree branch to another when I searched "forest parkour"
