I covered the song of Martin Hagwall "Rawest Forest" from Super Mario RPG.
He arranged this twice, I think.This version is second.

I made instrumental with MIDI & recorded this Apr. 2009, because I got requests from many people.
And just then, I met GOGATSU BYO MARIO at first.
He is very famous & popular as a Illustrator who makes Super Mario fan art works.
I invited him to this collaboration and he accepted willingly.
So this is old a little (it was made in 2009) but I hope you'll like it.
Although you may not understand me.^^;
(Even I also understand myself at my poor pronounce !!)
And... I wrote this in the video also but,
In fact, there are so many gimmicks in this video.
It was originally SWF file that was made with FLASH.
But this is MP4 file.
MP4 has no gimmicks.
When you watch this on NICO VIDEO with pausing,
you can see another scene that you can never see on UA-cam.
So I hope you'll go to watch this to NICO VIDEO.

Here is the illustrator, animator for this ! He made this as flash video. So, you might know this already but, on Nico Nico you can find some gimmicks with stopping the video.

久しぶりにかにぱんさんの声聞きたいと思ってきたけどやっぱりやすらぐなぁ、、、
現在息子がマリオRPGをしていて、口笛でずっと吹いていてかにぱんさんのこの歌思い出して息子に聞かせると気に入ってずっと聞いてます。
20歳頃に車で口ずさんで仕事場に行って頃思い出しました。

I'd say you did really well on the mario rapping part. I'm a native speaker and even I find that to be difficult.

It took me a while until today to know who performed this awesome Engrish song and now I just found out that you're singing that song, how awesome! Also I think I found out that the crabs in the video are clones of yourself, you're called Kanipan because it is translated to "crab bread" in my language. I know some Japanese, but I mostly speak English! So yeah. ;3

Oh my gosh the nostalgia is flowing in me, I forgot this existed! I was so weirded out as my young self watching this one after seeing the originals. Such a great piece of the early 2010s. Goodness, this is one of the first times I'm actually experiencing actual nostalgia. I think I'll go down memory lane soon...

@kanipan666 Hi writing to tell you how much i love this, i remember years ago listening to forest maze theme with a girl doing vocal now they just announced smrpg remaster for switch (it almost made me cry one of my favorite game ever) and i wanted to hear this again so bad but could not find your song, after a lot of research i finally found it ! You are amazing i know its a remix of rawest forest but i like your version way better your voice is more powerful and epic it is pure joy to the ears i like many snes game soundtrack like mega man x series & ninja turtle in time but this one has to be the best gaming song ever for me i love the music but with vocal its always better and your performance and voice is just that good thank you so much for making this. This game, this song and your voice is like being at the casino and hitting 7 7 7 for me ! i am listening to it non stop on repeat right now !!! Have a great day ! :)

I could actually hear the voices, and how just one person did all the voice acting, and I love the style. But I had seen the other one first, and really liked the animation style as well. It’s not as good as the original m, but pretty close.
