Bit of a tip, starting with light weapons' is by far the hardest out of the 3. Id recommend medium as a starter, the crit on it (pressing r) does high posture dmg, btw once someone's posture is full they get stunned. Heavy is also good bc it has big range and its critical insta posture brakes. Also the reason you died to those bandits wearing the black armor was not because they killed you it was since your blood bar hit 0. Keep note of the 3 bars on the left, the red is blood, blue water, and brown food, if water and food hit 0 you lose blood and eventually die, in contrary getting hit by slash attacks (so light weapons) also lowers your blood. To get your blood up sit at a campfire or eat/drink.
Very useful comment. Also, you can make food at campfires. Here's 3 good foods I use a lot Mushroom soup: One of two different types of mushrooms combined at a campfire makes mushroom soup. Bread: 3 pieces of wheat make normal bread, however adding sap to the 3 wheat makes a special bread that gives you a buff
Tip: learn deepwoken terminology. It might not sound too important, but knowing what people mean can save your life. I've been killed because of not knowing what notes were. It also just helps you to talk to deepwoken veterans. This is learnt over time like many things, but it genuinely makes player contact so much easier.
something i havent seen yet but very important. never go afk in deep. moba might spawn, people might jump you, hinger and thirst go down, best to just leave if you need to brb
MAJOR COMBAT TIPS!!! 1: You can press G to vent while being hit to push enemies away if your stuck in a combo, you must be in combat and you must need tempo to vent. Tempo is the smaller bar below the ether bar (magic bar) and it fills up by being hit and hitting enemies 2: Don’t leave the game in combat. 3: You can feint a dodge by pressing M2 while rolling, allowing you to swiing sooner instead of having to wait for the full roll animation
Press G in combat. It allows you to vent, a difficult to counter move that pushes away nearby enemies. also, swords are the best weapon to learn the game with, as they are a balance between all stats and make an easier transition to either light or heavy weapons. Alongside this, Your stats are EXTREMELY important. Not just due to the raw buffs they give you, but also the talent cards you get from leveling up. On talents, most cards have prerequisites/requirements to get them. An example is "Exoskeleton" which needs 40 fortitude to be a talent you can get. Some talent cards require other talent cards to get, like "Ghost, which not only needs 40 agility, but every single talent under the "Butteryfly" section. TIP: If you want to get (for example) butteryfly talents, you can go to the mystic and select the appropriate dialouge option (for butterfly talents, It's "light on my feet, I sting like a bee.").
Also, this is how the weapon classifications work. Heavy weapons trade having high range and damage for a slow attack speed. Light weapons trade range and high damage for attack speed Swords are inbetween the two.
Very pro tip: learn talent paths and mantra's. This isn't something you learn overnight, you gotta learn through gameplay. You get talents every level up and mantra's every few levels. Talents just buff your character by giving them specific attributes (you'll know what I mean when you get your first talent hands), and mantra's are abilities that you can use. This isn't something you learn overnight, you gotta learn through gameplay. But putting certain points into certain stats can give you specific talents and mantra's. Example, putting 20 stat points into fortitude gives you a chance of recieving a talent that buffs your armor durability. Or putting 50 stat points into thundercall lets you use six fold thunderclap and flash. There are hundreds of mantra's and talents, so I dont expect you to learn all of them. But atleast try to learn ones that you feel your best character might use. I dont encourage using the wiki, but you might have to if you want to become a deepwoken veteran.
So, some tips to help you : -firstly you wipe when you die in the depths, in order to get into the depths you need to die twice. You can notice if you're about to go into the depths with your health bar that becomes stained, to prevent that you need to lvl up if you want your health bar to go back to normal. -To escape the depths you need to go into the city and find an elevator at the center or activate bells to open the gates, and then you'll figure it out yourself. -and last you can level up when investing 15points in a stat, to invest in a stat you do tasks that will lvl up that stat, for example you hit people with your daggers to increase your light weapons to invest the stat you need the training gear, for example the weapon manual.
good thing u actually giving the game a chance after buying it, i dont think u realize how many freshies just buy deepwoken without even researching and then whine when they realize the game is difficult
The attunement and your starting stats actually are very important! Once you put points in, they can NEVER be removed. And the level cap is twenty, with fifteen points each level. You can shift the points around around mid-game, but only to a certain degree, and at the cost of an additional flaw. You can never truly remove any investments. So when you pick your attunement, just know that is a permanent investment, and your build is going to be based around it. If you pick up flamecharm, you best be getting the flamecharm talents. If you get attunementless, you'll have more points to spare on other attributes at the cost of less variety in mantras. The works.
Tip: Get into a guild, either make one for you and your fanbase, join a popular one, or join one your friends might have. The best option is to make your own. If you make your own, you get a guildbase which is basically a whole town in your pocket. The guildbase has all the necessities like a bank, a smith, an antiquarian, even a barber. Fans can also donate some notes (money) into the guild fund for you to upgrade the guildbase. The best part about being in a guild as a freshie, is that your more experienced guildmates can help you. Solo deepwoken as a freshie is hellish, so getting helpful guildmates is going to be really useful.
when creating characters as a freshie you need to know: what flaws and boons to use (only use obvious and autodidact as a freshie) attunements (attunementless, while it sounds bad lets you throw hands really hard) learn how to kill most of the easy mobs first and learn key locations in erisia like the sharko cave and the bandit village. in order, learn how to easily beat: mudskipper, bandit, bandit leader, megalodaunt for levelling up, buying different training tools in the antiquarian will allow you to raise your different attributes. for every attribute point you raise, you lose one investment point. when hitting 0 investment points you will level up, which will unstain your bar (give you your second life after dying once), grant you talents and grant you mantras. after learning how to play a little better start researching builds. builds are based off of an attunement and weapon, as well as the playstyle that is to be used. learning how to make a build (mostly learning how much of each attribute you need for specific talents and mantras as well as learning what attributes are the most important for the build) will help you create a more efficient character slot in their specified use, such as pve and pvp.
pro tip: When you lost your character, you unlocked an origin called "lone warrior". If you decide to spawn with this origin, you get sent to a boss rush type of area called "trial of one" where you can learn the patterns to some of the most frequent appearing mobs. Learning all the patterns in trial of one is gonna take a while, but if you do manage to consistently beat it, you can boost your odds of survival ten fold. Trial of one also includes a bonus where if you complete it, you can spawn into the overworld with 6 levels rather than 1. Trust me though, it took me a solid week of constant practice to learn the patterns.
don't panic parry use your reaction time it will help you a lot in the long time ALSO go to your setting in the game and turn on ping compensation the parrying is weird cause your lagging
you actually did better than other new people The blue bar under neath the white bar is your tempo, pressing G pushes away enemies so if you’re ever getting infinite comboed just press G to vent Also watch out for voidwalkers, they’re people with black swirls around them that try to kill you for a quest. Try to do the trial of one next video (pick the lone warrior origin option) you’ll learn how to fight a bunch of monsters through trial and error
When you go back down the depths (the blue "underworld" place) make sure you have at least 15 notes (the white currency at the bottom right of your screen) ,as it is the only realistic way you escape. You can escape by going through that gate you passed through, but instead of taking a turn simply go straight untill you see some boxes. Past those boxes will be an elevator where you can pay 15 notes to go up, and if you are a low level you escape without having to fight. Something to remember though, is that once you get to power 5 you will fight a knight, once you get to power 9 you fight an spear user, once you get you power 13 you fight that tall monster you saw when you walked through the gate, and once you get to power 16 you fight a a strong big knight.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this but a simple base combat tip: if you miss a parry and get hit, when you hit f again youre going to do this thing called weak block and get hit again so the only way to really get out of stun like that is wait a second and then try to parry or press g when that blue animated bar above your hot bar is glowing thats tempo and pressing g is called venting and after you vent you can try to parry again
tip: If you die in the overworld your health bar changes. If you have an orange health bar, you'll have a second chance when you die. If you have an orange but stained health bar, if you die one more time you get sent to the depths (the place where you died while afk) and you get a blue purple health bar if you are in the depths. You already know what happens. the only way to get rid of this is to die or escape the depths In your inventory there are a few training gears, using them 15 times while having a stained health bar can replenish it back to a healthy orange one. Btw when you get sent to the depths, not all hope is lost. you can escape through an elevator directly in front of the west entrance, or level up and get good loot.
Pick servers that are closest to where you will for the best wifi If you knock something or someone, keep hitting on the ground or its going to get up If you die twice you go to the depths , to escape the depths you'll go through a trial unless your to weak. To avoid going there try to gain experience, you get your lives back with every level
another tip is that whne you are at etris you can pick mushrooms for food and water. also fruit from trees and stuff. u can make campfires if u get an axe in etris ( the starting village )
tips: 1-if you pay attention to the enemy's weapon you will see a glow at that moment is when you should press f to parry (Obviously it's not completely accurate but it helps to guide you) 2- there is something called vent that is used to get out of combos and is used with the letter G, this will use up the tempo bar (is the bar down of the bar blue) and the tempo bar regenerates ether (mana) just don't use it desperately 3-in my opinion the easiest element for beginners is flamecharm because fire finishes off enemies and has a lot of damage and remember the deephst calls have started
theres trial of one, id recommend looking up a vid on how to get there, and once you do itll appear as a spawn point. it basically will train you for every main enemy in the game.
oh yeah i forgot to leave a tip in order to level up, make sure to always use your training gears to invest your points. use your notes (currency at the bottom right of your screen) to buy more training gears. don't use the training vest, use the boulder. pls shoutout!!!
quick tips: parrying is done right before an opponent swings. You can also see a white flash on their weapon when that happens, 2 that blue bar below your health builds whenever you get hit or hit someone else called tempo upon pressing G some temp can be used to vent away any opponent making you immune for a short amount of time and getting rid of opponent's combos. One last thing I recommend is finding a good build but that can be done later after you finish exploring the game.
im not a deepwoken god or anything but i do got some tips you basically have three lives, two in the overworld, one in the depths, youll know youre on your last life in the overworld when your health bar is rusty/stained, youll know when youre in depths (you should obviously know if youre in depths) when your health bar is blue, if you die in depths youll wipe (lose your whole character) but if youre rusty bar, you can level up and get your lives back deepwoken is a pvp game so obviously people are going to be ruthless, max level or not, so if you see a very intimidating person, be careful (or just log by using the return to main menu button) if youre ever getting jumped and see yourself in a situation where you can barely parry make sure to vent(press g) and back away or roll or whatever, for some reason a lot of people dont do this but its very helpful if youre getting comboed theres some deepwoken tutorial videos that dont really help you with gameplay and just dump a TON of information which im not saying is bad information but it can be very overwhelming by the way the game is a LOT more fun to play with a friend and explore the luminants, overall if you need info ask a friend or just go on the deepwoken wiki also NEVER afk in deepwoken (unless you 100% know youre not gonna die) just log
liked and subscribed please do the lone warrior origin it really helped me learn game, also you when you die in trial of one it will send you to the depths. So, keep doing it until you can beat the dungeon i believe in you!!!
tip, never go afk in deepwoken, press the door button in the top of the screen then press the yes to menu button, also spawn at vigils to practice parrying with the instructor in the temple, (room next to blacksmith) and try to avoid other people unless you know them
When your starting to proggress there are things called builds, builds are specific stats that you need to achive so you can be strong. You can just search up builds on youtube or online and when you finish them you will be reallyproud of that then either you wipe or buy another slot to do another build
probably not a very useful tip for the current moment, but one thing that helps a lot in deepwoken, at least for me kind of marked the shift from when i went from a complete beginner to a moderately knowledgeable player was when i started learning about setting up and planning builds in deepwoken a lot of the power you get is centered around making strong well set up builds and having a handful of key talents that will carry a lot of your posture, overall bulk, movement, and damage a good place to learn a little bit about that would be the deepwoken builder discord
since you wiped you got an origin called trial of one where you can skip around 8 levels by killing monsters that the game throws at you. also you should practice it until your able to beat it easily.
here are some tips 1. play with a friend or 2 its recommended since its more fun and 2/3 brains are better then one 2. when creating a character you can chose your spawn i recommend isle of vigils cuz there is a trainer there that you can fight with and get used to the combat without risking nothin 3. if you are in combat there is a blue bar on your bar things you can press g to get your enemies of you if its filled or half filled 4. blocking is trash learning parry timings one the trainer is usefull 5. i recommend going medium weapon to get used to the combat more 6. use training gear to level up mostly use: Weapon Manual, ankle weights and others in that category 7. if you press M you will have a map 8. you can jump and m1 to do an aerial attack and you can slide or crouch with ctrl to do an uppercut and do an air combo. 9. parry when you see an attack coming you don't have to predict attacks 10. chose a good server region for yourself.
Just in case you didn't somehow know, you need to buy training items by selling the loot you get from Lower Erisia. Using the training items will use up points and after a few point increases you'll level up. Leveling up restores a life you might've lost. When escaping the dark place(depths) you need to run into the city and try to get into the center area and using the elevator... NOTE THAT YOU MUST COMPLETE A TRIAL AFTER GOING UP TO GO TO THE SURFACE
visit isle of vigils, there's a combat trainer there if you wanna practice in safety, there's a glint at the tip (normally some are goofy) of weapons that indicates the parry window, at each origin there is an NPC that you can talk to at the exit for etris and second floor exit for isle of vigils they give 25 notes on etris you can use that to buy some cloth outside on the left wall of the blacksmith and talking to the smith lets you make some basic armor.
when do you think the next deepwoken video finna come out? this was really fun to watch, also if you didnt realize, when you pressed the end it said origin unlocked: lone warrior i would personally recommend going to that origin as it helps you learn how to play the game pve wise by making you fight various mobs ranging from sharko to sand knight
you may have noticed a blue bar under your health go up when in combat thats called tempo its goes up a bit when hit and more when hitting someone this gives you youre ether back and if you have enough tempo you can vent by pressing g to push people off of you
Tip: if ur in a combo press g it vents you out and pushes the attacker away, but you need to build your tempo bar (the small blue bar at the bottom) you can build it by getting attacked or attacking
Tip: this might not be too important for now, but later in the game you'll suffer and have to fight these people called "voidwalkers". Voidwalkers are player bounty hunters who have to execute you to play the game. They're very prominent from levels 6 - 15. You can tell the difference from voidwalkers and regular players if when you hit them they emit a black, spiral aura. These dudes are unavoidable and you'll have to learn to fight them. Just be really cautious around people when you're at levels 6 - 15. You can become a voidwalker yourself, but you'll have to be a pvp demon to prosper.
Toxic a main thing you wanna keep your ee out fro is the glint on people weapons when you see the glint that when you know to parry another thing you can do is go to isle of vigils where there is a trainer and a bandit spawn they dont drop loot but you can practice parrying and dodging it really helpfull when you start the game another thing is called ehoes you get echoes everytime you level up or get something calld a oath or soulbounding. Hit me up if you need any more tips im glad to see you starting
Find a build that’s not to hard but pretty decent builds are what make your character strong and good Make sure to NOT go afk in deepwoken always leave if you can W vid bro loved the energy ready for round 2
I see some other people talking about how to get into the depths trial, but not what happens. When you go up the elevator after a certain level, you have to fight an enemy corresponding to your level. DO NOT TRY TO RUSH THE FIGHTS, the ai will dog on you.
not as helpful as other tips down here, but when you level up, before you pick cards the yellow circle that has a number is the amount of talent cards you will be able to pick, the purple is the amount of mantra cards you can pick, and when you pick cards, at the top are two circles, orange and blue, the orange one will burn a card so you never see it again (some cards will lock you out of other cards, for example the leaf in the wind cards will lock you out of butterfly cards) the blue one will freeze the card you put it on, letting you see the card next time you draw a hand. you should do trial of one to learn how to game works, you will get better at pve and parrying, and you get to start at lvl 6 or 7, to access trial of one you start with lone warrior as your origin, speaking of origin, when you get into the game learn how to get deepbound, you start in the depths and you would progress by using the deluvian mechanism (look up a tutorial), you can also pick 2 boons and 2 flaws when you make a new character, you have to select 2 flaws before 2 boons, i reccommend autodidact and survivalist for boons (boons are positive) and obvious and squeamish for flaws (you can cancel out squeamish if you get carnivore its only 5 strength and 5 willpower)
when i say get into the game i mean when you are familiar with everything and you start going for builds, when you unlock deepbound you dont need to look up a tutorial to find deluvian as you can spawn there, just remember where it is on the map as you should also learn where castle light is
Pro tip: dont avoid people ganking you and instead fight back to get better at reacting to m1's and mantra's (this helps in both pve and pvp aspects) Also. 5:30 - YOU HAD TEMPO!!!!! (press g to vent and push enemies back while the bar at the bottom is blue)
yea the game has next to no hand holding the place you got sent to was the depths (basically hell), where you need to escape without dying and if you die well then... but yea anyways this is like a souls game but geared way more to multiplayer so i recommend you invite someone to play with you, they dont have to be experienced at the game though if u want
You got food and water and blood,u gotta keep your blood up. As your weapons. sword, for good dmg and speed. Axe for dmg and slow speed, dagger for Super speed and less dmg. (A few weapons That u have to do quests to get. Fist, guns, greatsword,) Hope this can help Almost forgot races! The race u got is good.
you level up with the training equipment (dumbell, ankle weights, encyclopedia, etc.,) you need to reach a certain general xp threshold as well as a stat training xp threshold and then you can use the items to train a stat the game is pretty slow a lot of the time at first because there is a lot of area to explore and the devs are trying to find a balance between telling people how to play the game and the amount of information you would be able to find without them giving you blatant info drops
When the short meter above your hot bar fills a certain amount, it will turn blue and you'll be able to perform an action called venting. To vent, you need to press the "G" key on your keyboard and this action is very similar to a "burst" or a "spark" in fighting games. It pushes enemies off of you and can be used during stun (while getting hit) to avoid getting trapped in long combos. This meter fills during combat when landing basic attacks or while being hit by them and the meter itself is called your "tempo."
Ahh the loop. It starts yet again. This one’s sanity will soon crumble
He will face the horrors of the depths soon enough
The ignition union won't get scared by some out of touch scholar
He never would have survived the rumbling...
this is the moment when a happy guy ruins his life

It’s honestly not the best When I first got into the game it really didn’t help at all

Tip: It's 25, not 15
Not sure if anyone mentioned this but a simple base combat tip: if you miss a parry and get hit, when you hit f again youre going to do this thing called weak block and get hit again so the only way to really get out of stun like that is wait a second and then try to parry or press g when that blue animated bar above your hot bar is glowing thats tempo and pressing g is called venting and after you vent you can try to parry again
*the deep calls.*
Well... this sanity must be already crumble
tip: If you die in the overworld your health bar changes.
If you have an orange health bar, you'll have a second chance when you die.
If you have an orange but stained health bar, if you die one more time you get sent to the depths (the place where you died while afk)
and you get a blue purple health bar if you are in the depths. You already know what happens. the only way to get rid of this is to die or escape the depths
In your inventory there are a few training gears, using them 15 times while having a stained health bar can replenish it back to a healthy orange one.
Btw when you get sent to the depths, not all hope is lost. you can escape through an elevator directly in front of the west entrance, or level up and get good loot.
glad i found ur channel btww learning patterns is essential!!
Pick servers that are closest to where you will for the best wifi
If you knock something or someone, keep hitting on the ground or its going to get up
If you die twice you go to the depths , to escape the depths you'll go through a trial unless your to weak. To avoid going there try to gain experience, you get your lives back with every level
tip 1 never go afk in the depths no matter how long.
tip 2 Deepwoken is a difficult game with permanent character lost
Brooo I thought it was so sweet I came back I was Packed Up 😭
Very important tip: Shift-lock, it makes the game way easier
another tip is that whne you are at etris you can pick mushrooms for food and water. also fruit from trees and stuff. u can make campfires if u get an axe in etris ( the starting village )
tips:
1-if you pay attention to the enemy's weapon you will see a glow at that moment is when you should press f to parry (Obviously it's not completely accurate but it helps to guide you)
2- there is something called vent that is used to get out of combos and is used with the letter G, this will use up the tempo bar (is the bar down of the bar blue) and the tempo bar regenerates ether (mana) just don't use it desperately
3-in my opinion the easiest element for beginners is flamecharm because fire finishes off enemies and has a lot of damage
and remember the deephst calls have started
Another one bites the dust 😔✊
G to throw the people near you away, the vent, used to get out of stuns (charge indicated by the silly little blue bar right above the items)
theres trial of one, id recommend looking up a vid on how to get there, and once you do itll appear as a spawn point. it basically will train you for every main enemy in the game.
oh yeah i forgot to leave a tip
in order to level up, make sure to always use your training gears to invest your points. use your notes (currency at the bottom right of your screen) to buy more training gears.
don't use the training vest, use the boulder. pls shoutout!!!
quick tips: parrying is done right before an opponent swings. You can also see a white flash on their weapon when that happens, 2 that blue bar below your health builds whenever you get hit or hit someone else called tempo upon pressing G some temp can be used to vent away any opponent making you immune for a short amount of time and getting rid of opponent's combos. One last thing I recommend is finding a good build but that can be done later after you finish exploring the game.
wait until bro sees the bosses
im not a deepwoken god or anything but i do got some tips
you basically have three lives, two in the overworld, one in the depths, youll know youre on your last life in the overworld when your health bar is rusty/stained, youll know when youre in depths (you should obviously know if youre in depths) when your health bar is blue, if you die in depths youll wipe (lose your whole character) but if youre rusty bar, you can level up and get your lives back
deepwoken is a pvp game so obviously people are going to be ruthless, max level or not, so if you see a very intimidating person, be careful (or just log by using the return to main menu button)
if youre ever getting jumped and see yourself in a situation where you can barely parry make sure to vent(press g) and back away or roll or whatever, for some reason a lot of people dont do this but its very helpful if youre getting comboed
theres some deepwoken tutorial videos that dont really help you with gameplay and just dump a TON of information which im not saying is bad information but it can be very overwhelming
by the way the game is a LOT more fun to play with a friend and explore the luminants, overall if you need info ask a friend or just go on the deepwoken wiki
also NEVER afk in deepwoken (unless you 100% know youre not gonna die) just log
liked and subscribed
please do the lone warrior origin it really helped me learn game, also you when you die in trial of one it will send you to the depths. So, keep doing it until you can beat the dungeon i believe in you!!!
🤧 I’ll do my best
tip, never go afk in deepwoken, press the door button in the top of the screen then press the yes to menu button, also spawn at vigils to practice parrying with the instructor in the temple, (room next to blacksmith) and try to avoid other people unless you know them
When your starting to proggress there are things called builds, builds are specific stats that you need to achive so you can be strong. You can just search up builds on youtube or online and when you finish them you will be reallyproud of that then either you wipe or buy another slot to do another build
probably not a very useful tip for the current moment, but
one thing that helps a lot in deepwoken, at least for me kind of marked the shift from when i went from a complete beginner to a moderately knowledgeable player was when i started learning about setting up and planning builds
in deepwoken a lot of the power you get is centered around making strong well set up builds and having a handful of key talents that will carry a lot of your posture, overall bulk, movement, and damage
a good place to learn a little bit about that would be the deepwoken builder discord
since you wiped you got an origin called trial of one where you can skip around 8 levels by killing monsters that the game throws at you. also you should practice it until your able to beat it easily.
Bro actually didnt die to the first set of bandits that is wild
here are some tips
1. play with a friend or 2 its recommended since its more fun and 2/3 brains are better then one
2. when creating a character you can chose your spawn i recommend isle of vigils cuz there is a trainer there that you can fight with and get used to the combat without risking nothin
3. if you are in combat there is a blue bar on your bar things you can press g to get your enemies of you if its filled or half filled
4. blocking is trash learning parry timings one the trainer is usefull
5. i recommend going medium weapon to get used to the combat more
6. use training gear to level up mostly use: Weapon Manual, ankle weights and others in that category
7. if you press M you will have a map
8. you can jump and m1 to do an aerial attack and you can slide or crouch with ctrl to do an uppercut and do an air combo.
9. parry when you see an attack coming you don't have to predict attacks
10. chose a good server region for yourself.
NOTE THAT YOU MUST COMPLETE A TRIAL AFTER GOING UP TO GO TO THE SURFACE
it makes me remember when i played deepwoken first time
everything seems like beautiful
...until i meet voidwalker/toxic person
This was actually really entertaining. You gotta go back.
The deep is calling.
visit isle of vigils, there's a combat trainer there if you wanna practice in safety, there's a glint at the tip (normally some are goofy) of weapons that indicates the parry window, at each origin there is an NPC that you can talk to at the exit for etris and second floor exit for isle of vigils they give 25 notes on etris you can use that to buy some cloth outside on the left wall of the blacksmith and talking to the smith lets you make some basic armor.
Hmmm Okayyy thank you for the info not tryna get washed on my second character 😭
You did good for first time lol 😂 I didn’t know how to parry for days into the game and learnt it later ;-;
Shout out lies of p✌🏾 next video gone be better tho
choose steadfast as boon and obvious as flaw
If u want monsters to not notice you easily then i suggest not going obvious but i go for it because im a deep veteran
when do you think the next deepwoken video finna come out? this was really fun to watch, also if you didnt realize, when you pressed the end it said origin unlocked: lone warrior i would personally recommend going to that origin as it helps you learn how to play the game pve wise by making you fight various mobs ranging from sharko to sand knight
Soul society 💀💀
Hitting knocked enemies on the ground restarts how long their there for
you may have noticed a blue bar under your health go up when in combat thats called tempo its goes up a bit when hit and more when hitting someone this gives you youre ether back and if you have enough tempo you can vent by pressing g to push people off of you
Good job, keep playing do lone warrior
Appreciate that broski ✌🏾
You did it
Tip: if ur in a combo press g it vents you out and pushes the attacker away, but you need to build your tempo bar (the small blue bar at the bottom) you can build it by getting attacked or attacking
sick video brodie
new sub
fire video gang
Thanks broski
@@NotSoToxxicif you press g in combat you do an evasive burst thing that gets everything off you so if you are getting hit a lot you can use that
Jacky did u get your discord account back yet?
don't accept help, suffering builds character
It's always so funny to see new players play lol 😂
Playing the game for ur first time at its current state rn gl man ur gonna struggle
rule 1 of deepwoken NEVER AFK rule 2 if ur going to log DO NOT ALT F4 press the home button
Find a build that’s not to hard but pretty decent builds are what make your character strong and good
Make sure to NOT go afk in deepwoken always leave if you can
W vid bro loved the energy ready for round 2
I was power 12 but I wipe to start all over with the Gojo progression
I see some other people talking about how to get into the depths trial, but not what happens. When you go up the elevator after a certain level, you have to fight an enemy corresponding to your level. DO NOT TRY TO RUSH THE FIGHTS, the ai will dog on you.
Wasgood toxic its me astd sweat from ur old streams I finally and back Had A LOTTTTT of family prollems trying to see if ur streaming again
YOOO I remember you I’m glad you got through that broski I still stream hope to catch you in a future one ✌🏾😁
not as helpful as other tips down here, but when you level up, before you pick cards the yellow circle that has a number is the amount of talent cards you will be able to pick, the purple is the amount of mantra cards you can pick, and when you pick cards, at the top are two circles, orange and blue, the orange one will burn a card so you never see it again (some cards will lock you out of other cards, for example the leaf in the wind cards will lock you out of butterfly cards) the blue one will freeze the card you put it on, letting you see the card next time you draw a hand. you should do trial of one to learn how to game works, you will get better at pve and parrying, and you get to start at lvl 6 or 7, to access trial of one you start with lone warrior as your origin, speaking of origin, when you get into the game learn how to get deepbound, you start in the depths and you would progress by using the deluvian mechanism (look up a tutorial), you can also pick 2 boons and 2 flaws when you make a new character, you have to select 2 flaws before 2 boons, i reccommend autodidact and survivalist for boons (boons are positive) and obvious and squeamish for flaws (you can cancel out squeamish if you get carnivore its only 5 strength and 5 willpower)
when i say get into the game i mean when you are familiar with everything and you start going for builds, when you unlock deepbound you dont need to look up a tutorial to find deluvian as you can spawn there, just remember where it is on the map as you should also learn where castle light is
Pro tip: dont avoid people ganking you and instead fight back to get better at reacting to m1's and mantra's
(this helps in both pve and pvp aspects)
Also. 5:30 - YOU HAD TEMPO!!!!! (press g to vent and push enemies back while the bar at the bottom is blue)
im tryna see u fight duke 💀
LOVED THE VID please continue
Dude ruined his life with 2 clicks💔😿
yo broski u got skill ngl for a starter
Appreciate that shout out lies of p for getting me ready can’t wait until the next episode 😁
@@NotSoToxxic with u need help i could boost u a bit
yea the game has next to no hand holding the place you got sent to was the depths (basically hell), where you need to escape without dying and if you die well then...
but yea anyways this is like a souls game but geared way more to multiplayer so i recommend you invite someone to play with you, they dont have to be experienced at the game though if u want
I subbed cuz of deepwoken
jus subbed nice video man:)
You got food and water and blood,u gotta keep your blood up.
As your weapons. sword, for good dmg and speed. Axe for dmg and slow speed, dagger for Super speed and less dmg. (A few weapons That u have to do quests to get. Fist, guns, greatsword,)
Hope this can help
Almost forgot races! The race u got is good.
Just progress a lot and wipe you earn echoes which u can upgrade stuff with and theres a huge learning curve so use the wiki n stuff
i love how u use the bleach ost lol
you level up with the training equipment (dumbell, ankle weights, encyclopedia, etc.,)
you need to reach a certain general xp threshold as well as a stat training xp threshold and then you can use the items to train a stat
the game is pretty slow a lot of the time at first because there is a lot of area to explore and the devs are trying to find a balance between telling people how to play the game and the amount of information you would be able to find without them giving you blatant info drops
(imo it would be easier to just give more info in the tutorial and have a more in-depths starting quest but we get what we can i guess)
what sound effect is used at 8:13 ?
Soo you haven’t seen Re:Zero - Re:zero call of the witch
dw bro when i started i wiped my character like 50 times before i got good
You're giving me old Coryxkenshin vibes, bro. Same energy and the same editing style. Remember me when you make it big. ✌️😮💨
Please drop more Deepwoken content, though. Maybe some longer vids as well.
don’t worry I’m already gearing up for the 2nd episode 😁
w vid play more deep
Try using vent its good if you failed to parry
W VIDEO!!!
This meter fills during combat when landing basic attacks or while being hit by them and the meter itself is called your "tempo."
music during 3:25?
