I really like these. I did a review on the truck a while back and it was ok but now I installed the WPL driveshafts which do not fit unless you add the 2 speed trans. Very close but I got those suckers in there! Swapped all the electrical as well and boy, what a great little thing it is!
Ur running vid in the beginning really makes this truck look good. So it seems the detailed toy grades r really selling lately, they don’t perform well,but they do look good up in the shelf, great review brotha!

I have recently also got this truck and I think its totally unfair to pass any criticism on it as its so very reasonable at around £20 , and of course as we all know the perfect vehicle to upgrade. I have done a little bit of research and found out that the original ones did not have a silver grille on the front, it was all painted , so I have removed the silver paint .I also much dislike the awful screen printed type logos and have removed them with very fine wire wool which worked fine , other mods I have done are total underside is painted in matt black inc wheelarches and metal ladder frame bars, made cab windows and added 1/4 lights , painted the interior instrument panel with dials , put in mirrors , rear lights, and drilled out front side lights to take L.E.D.s . Other jobs on my list include rear exhaust , and Russian reg plates . I have also painted wheels in matt black . Eventually I plan to upgrade all the electronics once I have the cosmetics all done , overall I think its a really great little truck , and am really enjoying modifying it, Yes I would definitely recommend it to anyone whatever thier experience is due to its amazing value.

Just ordered one , mostly for the russian zil look, got some esc and servos lying around anyway, might make a decent runner and it will go fine along with my 1/16 tank fleet Good video btw

since this is made for offrad driving I am not sure if it is an advantage that it has these differentials so the axles are not locked as at the WLP trucks. I am really looking forward to receive my WLP 6x6 Truck
Yes, the Diff's are not good for harsh terrain, but with a little more power I think it will be fine. I'm currently adding diff oil and upgrading the motor. Video soon 👍 The WPL 6x6 Truck is nice, I've not got one yet though.

Ive bought the 4 wheel version. Worked great at first but the problem i always hsd was the main gear box slips and wont stay locked. I repaired over a dozen times and jus got tired of having to take it all appart to realine the main gears. I wouldn't recommend any of these brand of truck as they all have the same. Main gear box

just bought a used one for cheap with upgraded proportional steering and speed... I am gonne slam that thing aaaall the way to the ground and make it a ratrod with some wide road tires.... might not be fast, but it will look awesome... :D
Incorrect, I've never seen an RC vehicle with true limited-slip differentials. These differentials are known as 'open' differentials. Or unlocked differentials. Very realistic mind you. I wish more RC vehicles had open diffs like this.

Please understand the differential case. What gears are metal or plastic?

Mine seems fine, even running a Lipo. Maybe it was a bad one that you got. They are ok once you've upgraded a few things

They both have their advantages....depends what you want. 6 Wheels are usually better than 4 for traction :)

The differentials are called limited slip differential’s
That still leaves spring suspension but it’s not a true tandem suspension like WPL kit Version

Yes, all these trucks need an electronics upgrade. None of mine are standard. Well apart from this one...give me a week or so and I'll sort it 👍

This rc so bad because the system QD, better rc wpl b-16
This and the WPL run better with upgraded Electronics, this one is not as good as the B-16 out the box. But it's just as easy to upgrade 👍
