    love the tutorial, so informative!! i had a question, if the printer company just gets a pdf, will they be able to see the layers still? because they are in the Ai. file

      Hey there, thanks for reaching out. To prevent edits and visibility of Layers in your exported PDF, you may uncheck the option for Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities and Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help. ^AM

    The issue isn’t necessarily the guillotine. Registration isn’t perfect. Paper isn’t perfectly flat. Oftentimes we have to make a component of your design slightly larger to compensate for something (eg a folder brochure).

    Is there a difference by using pdf preset: High Quality Print vs Press Quality ???

    • @NiazMohammad
      @NiazMohammad Рік тому

      Yes, High quality print is for web and is in RGB and press quality is for print and is in CMYK

    • @narissa9888
      @narissa9888 Рік тому +1

      The only different is that the HQ will not convert the color profile (uses the documents settings) and the PQ will convert to destination(uses printers settings)

    • @narissa9888
      @narissa9888 Рік тому +2

      @@NiazMohammad that is incorrect...High quality Print is usually used for printing because it doesn't allow the printer to change the color profile, it will keep it as what you have it setup on the document. If your document is RGB it will not convert it to CMYK(default for printing) but if the file is setup as CMYK to begin with saving it as a high quality print the document will include all the data necessary for a printer to accurately print spot and process colors. AND ACTUALLY you shouldn't save as PDF for web anyway...you should be using .jpg or .png for web so you can make sure it is 72ppi.

    Would it be so difficult to use someone who's first language is English. Her accent is genuinely not the easiest to understand.
