No Thatcher inflicted the damage. She vindictively cut the budget to Liverpool. The council set a budget according to the money they should have had. The houses they built are still there. Public transport was fantastic and we kept voting them back in because they did a lot of good for our city. Do not deflect blame away from Thatcher.

There would be uproar if someone told a 71 year old woman she looked good for her age but that's women's fault for being to sensitive about their age.
