I'd recommend checking Konomi Suzuki's version of Oracion (No Game No Life ED). It may not carry the same emotions as the original but DAMN is it epic.
I think it depends on whether you're watching as it airs or if you're binging it after the fact. If I'm binging an anime which I did with this one and the story is compelling to the point that I have to know what happens next I will skip a banger OP if the previous episode ended on some kind of a cliffhanger. I can't remember specifically if I did that with this anime because it's been a while.

Yep I think there is a high chance for Season 3, there are a ton of Light Novel material to get animated rn. Also it is said that when the author finishes the LN, the entire anime could theoretically have 8 Seasons with 25 episodes each.
It's not getting animated ever unfortunately, bullshit legalities got in the way and now we can only cry every night we go to sleep. As a side note I can finally pay attention to my lonely bookshelf.
If it's any consolation at the end of this arc he will take many dubs and erase all losses regarding this arc. (Rem was lost in arc 3, arc 4 is episode 2 and onward
The thing about Re:Zero is that it's not full of gore or terror, but the watcher suffer mentally, just like Subaru when he returns by death, so he's just uninjured but he's got trauma from the memories and experience he went through that doesn't even exist - like, how scary is it just being stuck in a 'time loop'... It's like playing a game, but even if your character die, you can go back to where you saved the game... It's gonna be one of my favourite anime of all time; thanks for the full version btw, Animelody!!
Anime nowadays is just repeating isekai/game genre Rezero has its own uniqueness of making the mc grow by facing or even dying through different possibilities and its also so realistic most of the watchers really don't like this kind of mc cause he's not that powerful they said. Can't wait to see that overwhelming power of Subaru tho.

I had an entire exams, quarantine, results, birthday and depression arc between the intended release of season 2 and this full version of the op and you wouldn't have guessed what I was excited for the most...
When you realize that the source of Subaru's constant smiles and jokes is that, on the inside, he truly feels alone, depressed, and hates himself... Man, that shit hits deep. And even moreso when you see him start to overcome it all.
as the series goes on, he continues to change... as a reader, it's both intriguing and heartbreaking to watch. He improves don't get me wrong - he's an amazing character! But with every loop, something continues to break down. Subaru is a lot more broken than he let's himself be seen as. for example.... spoiler: in arc 6, it's revealed he self harms by scratching his arms often enough that Beatrice, who heals the scratches, is not surprised at all. :(

Everyone working on Re Zero is fucking incredible. Like we honestly don't deserve them. They are adapting it perfectly and moving scenes to make sure the pacing is good to perfection, hit with extreme emotion, and do the characters justice. Can't wait for further episodes. White Fox and everyone involved is just incredible

Not only is this song extremely catchy, but the lyrics and composition match the anime and Subaru's struggle absolutely perfectly. There are other songs in the world of anime that are also great, but few manage to fit the theme of a show so amazingly well. It tells a story, and I honestly am sad that it showed so few times during the airing of the first half of the second season. Such was a sacrifice required to include the needed show content.

The premise of this season is that Subaru needs to love himself more and realise that everyone sees him as a friend, he needs to rely on his friends more and stop doing everything on his own. Let other people help you through these dark times, trust them. In the other worlds where he killed himself, he left them all alone not realising the consequences of his actions. Think before you do anything and don't leave your friends out of it

And you can't pull the reverse of trying to spoil someone by saying a character doesn't die because... no one will believe you. Just by the time you get to the end of season 1, you know that someone dying isn't a question; the question is almost always how many times.
Also watching this, I can't help but to feel pity and admire that how strong Subaru as person is. How many times he has witness those who are precious to him had died, how many challenges he must solve in order to save the innocent and himself, how many times he has gone through the process of death. If Subaru is a person irl, I don't think almost anyone would have the mental toughness or determination, dedication he has. Those who shit on him aren't better people in any direction.

Something about this opening is very different from the first two. Because instead of pain and suffering, this op shows subaru's determination. In the opening we can see subaru ran past countless number of his death self, he cry and scream but never once look back. Like subaru said. He will cry and show his weak side, but he will not give up
notice how each OP gradually becomes more "clearer" first OP didnt have any normal background, just clouds of uncertainty and subaru trying and failing with no direction, restarting in vain. second OP has a background but every scene where Subaru is in is dark or unclear and he didnt even save Emilia in time because he was busy thinking about his restarts third OP is different. Subaru throughout the whole OP continues on one path never to any other direction. his scenes contain dark backgrounds but it gradually becomes brighter and brighter until he sees the light of hope. the lyrics tells us exactly what Subaru is thinking this Subaru in the third OP will show us that he will make it to where he needs to be, his past wont drag him down.
One of the many things that made me love this series the fact that the opening don't come every episode which makes the time it begins more powerful that made me never skip opening or ending when they come.

So I just had a really scary but maybe possible theory. (I'm an anime only before, just saying so you know I haven't read the books in case this actually is true) What is Subaru is actually a sin-archbishop, but because he doesn't have his gospel yet, or at least with him, so he doesn't know how to actually successfully live on. So every time he goes down a bad path with the end being his death, he mad the wrong choice at his last "check point" and is basically forced to guess his way down the right path? And since he doesn't have a Gospel for whatever reason, Satella then decided to give Subaru "Return by Death" so he can just go down the Gospel's recorded path. It would explain the reason for the fact he has "checkpoints". Just a thought I had which I thought would be possible given what we've been shown in the anime, along with Petelgeuse assuming Subaru is Pride, that could be true.

I think it depends on whether you're watching as it airs or if you're binging it after the fact. If I'm binging an anime which I did with this one and the story is compelling to the point that I have to know what happens next I will skip a banger OP if the previous episode ended on some kind of a cliffhanger. I can't remember specifically if I did that with this anime because it's been a while.

The thing about Re:Zero is that it's not full of gore or terror, but the watcher suffer mentally, just like Subaru when he returns by death, so he's just uninjured but he's got trauma from the memories and experience he went through that doesn't even exist - like, how scary is it just being stuck in a 'time loop'... It's like playing a game, but even if your character die, you can go back to where you saved the game... It's gonna be one of my favourite anime of all time; thanks for the full version btw, Animelody!!

as the series goes on, he continues to change... as a reader, it's both intriguing and heartbreaking to watch. He improves don't get me wrong - he's an amazing character! in arc 6, it's revealed he self harms by scratching his arms often enough that Beatrice, who heals the scratches, is not surprised at all. :(

The premise of this season is that Subaru needs to love himself more and realise that everyone sees him as a friend, he needs to rely on his friends more and stop doing everything on his own. So I just had a really scary but maybe possible theory. (I'm an anime only before, just saying so you know I haven't read the books in case this actually is true) What is Subaru is actually a sin-archbishop, but because he doesn't have his gospel yet, or at least with him, so he doesn't know how to actually successfully live on. So every time he goes down a bad path with the end being his death, he mad the wrong choice at his last "check point" and is basically forced to guess his way down the right path? And since he doesn't have a Gospel for whatever reason, Satella then decided to give Subaru "Return by Death" so he can just go down the Gospel's recorded path. It would explain the reason for the fact he has "checkpoints". Just a thought I had which I thought would be possible given what we've been shown in the anime, along with Petelgeuse assuming Subaru is Pride, that could be true.
